Nice little pub close to Ealing Broad station. 19 pounds for a steak pie with mash and veggies. Beers are around the 7 pounds marker. Nice atmosphere to catch up with a friend.

The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was fast. The cozy ambiance made it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I had the nut roast- it was soft on the inside and roasted with grill marks on the outside ...it's the best one ive had....trimmings were lovely and the gravy was tasty with green sauce lightly sprinkled ....potatoes needed to be roasted more - wish they did cauliflower cheese

We ate here 3 times in a 10 day period, the fresh pizzas, are to die for, my children said its the best pizza they have ever had, very reasonable in price too.... And the Sunday roast.........., truly magnificent...., can't wait to return., local or passing through., give the wheatsheaf a try..

Our second visit here. Last time was a weekend, this time a Tuesday evening. On the weekend visit we had reserved a table - of which there was no record but there was a table free and the food and drink were great. The kitchen isn't open on Tuesdays but they're very happy for you to buy a drink at the bar and have a takeaway delivered - which we did. They even provided cutlery and disposed of our pizza boxes. Good atmosphere both times and well-kept beer.

Headline: Fantastic!!! We had the lobster a month ago it was beautiful, So we came back for a Roast last week. I have to say its the best we have had in along time. We will be returning.

Horrible experience. We booked a table 2 days in advance looking forward to watching a football match. 2 hours before the game starting we got a mail that our reservation was suddenly declined without no further explanation. And we already were heading to the place. Rude staff didn’t explain anything about their decision. No thank you.

Best Pub Fod In Ealing.We have been there 3 times now. First time we said we would try the pies as they advertised the best pies in Ealing.Indeed they may be right they were Beautiful , generous portion of Meat( not all gravy as you often find), you can taste the pride, Pastry Perfect and fresh vegetables, Next time we tried the Chicken, mushroom & Tarragon which was just as good.We had the roast last Sunday which was fantastic.It was not particularly busy when we were there Sunday.I imagine that will not be the case for long!

Met up with a friend for dinner. The atmosphere was great. They had a quiz on but made us feel very welcome & the quiz master was a blast! The staff behind the bar were super friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Can recommend for a simple, relaxed drink/meal with friends.

The steak pies were to die for!! Richard and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. We will be back soon.

We've eaten here twice in 2 days so I guess that's a recommendation in and of itself. We came for lunch and did their pie and a pint for 20 pounds because it was Wednesday. We definitely should have shared. The venison pie was just excellent and it came with mashed potatoes, gravy, broccoli, and carrots. It was all delicious but we had so much left over we took it back to our Airbnb and shared it again for dinner. We came again the next night with three friends. We all had the grilled swordfish and agreed that it was probably one of the tastiest we'd ever had. Thank you, Robert!

Nice spacious pub just off Ealing Broadway, staff pleasant but west end prices £6.60 Guinness, £6.95 Peroni. Didn't eat, but what food was being served looked a reasonable sized meal.

Well set out and well run local residents pub ... also a short walk from Ealing Broadway Main Station. All big sports events Football/Rugby/Cricket etc. Are shown live on one of the various TV screens & Projector. Sunday Roast is nearly always available till late in the afternoon.

Great little pub. Friendly service with a good selection of beers. Tried the fish and chips which was decent. Has TV for the footie.

Many moons ago, almost in another life, the Wheatsheaf was a regular Friday night after work stop. This evening, on Ealing Broadway with a little time to kill, I ventured. Sometimes, nostalgia can cloud judgement and lead to disappointment. Not so here. Still a lovely pub, with friendly staff, a pleasant atmosphere, and a fine pint of Pride.

Been here 4 times in the last 6 months, the first three times were fantastic, todays visit was not. We’re not regular enough to know what exactly has changed (manager, chef, etc), but the new roast menu is awful. Slight benefit of the doubt as it’s the first day they’ve started doing roasts again after a while, but what we were given was poor and overpriced, especially compared to our previous visits. The meat was mostly great, but gristly and fatty round the edges but otherwise great cuts and cooked really well. The veg was overcooked broccoli which I seemed to have half a tree of, and my partner had one solitary tiny sprig, and one carrot stick between us which was undercooked. Nothing seasonal or anything you’d expect for a £20+ dinner. The roast potatoes were actually just new potatoes that were likely put in the oven for 5 mins at the end, but not “roasted” as you’d expect, and very bland. Yorkshire puddings were anemic and very salty. When you consider the vast drop in quality and the increase in price (it’s now £20.95 for a roast beef dinner), it was very disappointing. £50 between us for two sub-par roasts and two diet cokes isn’t justifiable, even in this area. On the plus side, the staff as always are wonderful, and the actual pub is lovely. Just a shame about the new menu.

Great pub. Nice atmosphere. Good beers. Lots of games so family friendly. Great veg / plant based burger. Other Main options were limited and did not align with the online menu.

UPDATE 9 OCTOBER 2023 I entered their guess the rugby result promotion and earned a 2x1 pints of Asahi in a previous visit. When I went on 8th October and wanted to redeem my voucher, the barwoman told me they weren't a managed pub anymore and couldn't accept my voucher, even if I'd only just got it a few days before and it's not expired yet. I felt forced to buy the drink she had already poured but soon left after drinking it. WATCH OUT!! Plenty of more options in the area to watch sports!! ORIGINAL REVIEW Other Fuller's pubs in the area do better Sunday roasts in terms of flavour and size. Quite overpriced for what they deliver at your table! The ale selection is quite poor! They only had London Pride and a Dark Star one... They should have ESB or HSB as a proper Fuller's pub

Excellent food. Staff are amazing.

I came in for a couple of beers with a friend. We sat outside on the patio as the weather was reasonable. The patio isn't the most impressive of places but the beer was pleasant.

Monday quiz night visit, had a great time. Good chicken wings, great service/staff and generally a really pleasant pub. Particular shout out to the toilets which were lovely and clean. A good local Fuller's pub that's kept up to a very high standard. Also has a decent outdoor seating area. The beer selection is probably fine for most people, but a little pedestrian if you're a big IPA head or into craft beer. If so, the best stuff is in the bottles.

Popped in for lunch a couple of weeks back as it's only around the corner from me and fancied taking my partner for lunch . Food was ok at best . While the price of everything has gone up for over £30s for 2 lunches with no alcohol I'd expect some really nice food and while it was ok it was no more than ok .

Afgelopen weekend zijn we hier beland, op zoek naar een plek om te eten en wat te drinken. Na de 1e avond hier geweest te zijn, zijn we de rest van het weekend terug blijven komen. Gezellige sfeer, goed eten, genoeg keuze om te drinken en voetbal op de schermen. Zeker een aanrader!

Personally I find that a pup should have traditional food especially in England, where its classic hit. Taking it completely out and only serving Thai is disappointing. Nothing against serving Thai keep your classic traditional pup food in pups!:

Excellent vibe as it was Quiz Evening, and a good selection of drinks. Unfortunately there is a strong smell of damp around the entrance area.

Probably my fave pub in Ealing. Cosy atmosphere especially when they've got the fireplace going. A bit tucked away from the other rowdier and louder ones this is a nice spot for a quiet pint and has friendly bar staff too. Shows sport sometimes so watch out for that if you're trying to avoid.

Really good pub with a great selection of drinks. Great range of beers for me and a a good selection of wines for my wife. Of late I have been disappointed with pub food being over priced and not very good but the team here have shown the other pubs how to do it. Fantastic range of options and very tasty. From now on, I am only going to this pub when I am in west London!

Absolutely lovely little pub tucked away in the heart of Ealing, stepping inside you would have thought one might be in a countryside local. Came here with a group of friends for a long overdue reunion and had a great time. Great selection of beers complimented by some damn tasty pizzas all of which are served up by very friendly staff. They also have a bunch of well placed screens for your sports viewing pleasure. All in all, highly recommend.

Fuimos a comer un sábado y nos gusto, aunque quizá les falte mejorar debido a la competencia, tuvimos un servicio aceptable y el tiempo y la comida no decepcionan aunque deberían explicar mejor en la carta los platos, las cantidades son adptadas al precio. La terraza no es apta ya que no hay espacio y las mesas están muy dañadas, aconsejo en el interior.

Average food with high prices. Had the shepherds pie - potato was luke warm and the mince was extremely salty. We also had the ham egg and chips, which tasted like it came straight out of the deep fat fryer. Would come for a drink to watch the football but no food.

Good selection of beers. Friendly staff who let me try a beer I had not heard of previously - it was good had a couple of pints! Visited on a weekday afternoon so not busy.

A lovely gem of a pub with very welcoming and friendly staff and a decent atmosphere. The food was great and the Vegan option Sunday roast really hit the spot. Great to see a good selection of Vg options too (two different pizzas to try out!) so we will 100% be back. Also, the plant based Nachos were spot on. :)

From the time we entered the restaurant, we were made to feel very welcome. It is a very pretty restaurant from the inside. The staff were lovely and nice. But we did have to wait a bit (more than normal) for the food - but I was glad that their roast included cauliflower cheese which is my favourite. When the food finally arrived, we were happy, but then we were disappointed to see the amount of oil on the kids pizza. We literally had to wipe it off with a tissue. Also, we had 2 adult beef roasts and a kids beef roast - It said ‘Pink’ on the menu, so I asked if it would be medium - rare, and the waiter said that it was. But it wasn’t pink at all - it was well done and quite chewy as well. So, in terms of the ambience and service - Great place, but the food and the quality of it disappointed us.

Really enjoy this pub when watching football. Great screens. Good guiness and decent food. Lovely crowd there too. Passionate about the game but not over the top. Will be there on weds for the liverpool game!

Lovely cozy pub, with friendly and helpful staff. Having said that the nachos I had were rubbish. Barely any toppings on them and the cheese had almost solidified. I had almost forgotten about this, but I just saw a picture of some decent loaded nachos and it reminded me how annoyed I was.

The roast beef dinner was delicious, I would have preferred the roast potatoes to be crisper, they weren't brown at all, that said though the food was lovely and piping hot, the beef cooked to perfection and lots of it too.

Nice pub away from the noise of the main road down a quiet residential street. We booked a table for outside that was reserved for us. Staff friendly, polite helpful and professional. Well turned out tasty pub food as you would expect from a Fullers pub. We will go back. (Could order at the bar or via the web site.) A few people smoking outside and as their outside space is quite small we were able to smell the smoke.

A decent neighbourhood pub. Nice staff and cosy environment. Impressive food and drink options. Part of the Fuller's chain. It's not cheap but it's reasonable value for the quality provided. I've been coming here, on and off, for more than twenty years. One of my top ten pubs in London.

We haven't been here for a year and it was great to be able to make it before lockdown. Unusually we decided on pizza which was really excellent, nice thin base with lots of topping. I went for sticky toffee pudding with ice cream which was lovely and not too sweet or sickly. We had some of the Fuller's beer and a few whiskys. The staff were really great. All in all a very enjoyable meal.

Nice pub, decent range of drinks, food not bad. Friendly staff, enjoyable quiz with one major flaw: there's a team who just cheat (lots of inspirational toilet breaks, or just looking up stuff on their phones). And they seem to be regulars, so they don't get challenged. Not the only pub in the area with this problem, but some countered by playing the quiz with no cigarette break (the other opportunity for the unsubtle). It's a great shame, because it really puts us off; we've been a handful of times, won a couple, & lost to proper teams at least as well, so it's pretty fairly run, but competing against ppl who do this just takes the fun. I assume it's the same for the other teams playing square.

I have been to this pub a few times as i live around the corner, whether it be for food or just drinks and I have never had any issues. I find Fullers pubs reliable and decent value. Sadly, we booked lunch / dinner for 4pm last Sunday (we booked late but was still able to get a table) for Sunday dinner and to watch the football. When we arrived most tables were taken which was expected as there was plenty of football on show and prime time for a Sunday dinner. We sat down and enjoyed a drink before trying to order (via their new app), however, the sunday roast was unavailable! I understand there is a finite amount of sunday roast to go around, but what i cant understand is how they can run out by c. 4pm. In my opinion this is prime time for Sunday dinners as people were still arriving. Once we had come to terms with the lack of Sunday roast we resorted in ordering the standard pub food from the menu (fish and chips, burger, etc) which was nice but when we got to see the last remaining roasts coming out the kitchen, it made our food pretty disappointing. All in all, its a nice pub and the beers are good, but i think its poor management of stock to run out of Sunday roasts on a Sunday by 4pm.
