Grand Junction Arms in Ealing

We often meet at the GJA and we are always made to feel welcomed, contrary to many other pubs who say 'we don't want your type here' (we're a motorcycle club). The food is good, they have a good selection of beers, ciders, etc.....what else do you need?!

The GJA is a very welcoming pub to everyone: as a motorcycle club, we are often turned away from pubs but not at the GJA. The food is great, they have a good selection of beer/cider/etc , friendly service. I wholeheartedly recommend the GJA to everyone.

Please sort out the cask ale situation! Otherwise lovely pub. This has been our local for nearly 20 years and we've seen it through many revamps and changes. It's had a lovely make over since the brewery took over running it but oddly the real ale has suffered since. It always used to have a Youngs ale or two and at least one or two guest ales. Now it's usually 2 ciders and a Youngs Original that has run out. I and many others used to walk past and see a new ale on and pop in to try it and then have one each of the others and leave 3 pints later...that's how real ale works. Having the same single ale on all the time is boring and I tend to pop my head in, see that and then don't bother. It's a shame. I've spoken to the staff and they say it's because they struggle to sell a cask and it goes off...that's probably because of the reasons above. Other than that, all the other beers cost more than a pint in the West End. The food tends to go through good and bad patches. Nice menu but it's been over cooked our last few times. Not terribly cheap either. We still come in to support the place but it's shame the beer let's it down. That's a missed opportunity when by the canal too...lot of ale fans on boating holidays! Lovely staff though and a great spot by the canal. You'll be hard pushed to find a better beer garden in London

I visited the pub yesterday to have lunch with my family, The sunday roast was phenomeal, the meat was really tender, gravy so flavourful. It exceed my expectations, the whole pub is so pretty, thank you Gabriel and Georgia for the amazing service you guys provided, we will be definately coming back soon to try the new set menu in jan. Definately it's a pub I recommend a visit.

We gathered for a post Christmas family lunch and as usual everything went smoothly and the family had another wonderful lunch. The staff looked after us and catered for all our requests. Thank you to all the Grand Junction team.

I used to come to the pub years ago and hadn't visit in while, me and my friends decide to come last saturday and the only thing I can say to the whole team is well done, the pub has completely changed since last I visited, for the better, you guys have done an incredible job and I'll definetely be coming back more often, thank you Gabriel and Georgia for all your recommendations and cocktails, seu you again on NYE to watch the fireworks.

My neighbours and I came here for some impromptu drinks on a Thursday evening, the drinks turned into an impromptu snacks and dinner for some of us. Unfortunately a couple of the meals that were ordered were not great (cold chicken wings and a chicken burger that the chicken was very very small not similar to the picture at all) we informed the team and they were very apologetic and informed they would cook up a fresh batch as soon as they could. This was absolutely fine and we were happy with the result. Where the team really stepped up is one of them (assuming a manager of sorts) offered us a free round of drinks for the inconvenience. This certainly wasn't expected but was very welcome. Since we moved to the area we really appreciate the investment that has gone into the GJA. It's our favourite pub in the area - thank you to the team for going above and beyond - excellent customer service from the whole team. One note, we didn't ask them to but may be worth considering turning down the music in the main room when there isn't too many people in as it can be difficult to hear people near you

We had a reservation for 15 and got 2 separate tables opposite each other, which is not how you want to seat with your group. Also it was in the extended balcony which is not insulated and it was freezing despite the heaters. Very uncomfortable. Also if you order on the app, you get your food before your drinks. Not great. Shame, because the pub looks lovely, but service not fit for purpose.

Nice location. Pricey drinks. The rooms were not warm, felt cold throughout the visit. Tables were sticky and were not clean.

Ahmed is the best bartender I have seen for long time. He deserves all the respect and awards he can get.

I have booked here second year in a row for our work Christmas meal. Sarah, Luke and Georgia were so helpful throughout the whole booking process, being very accommodating to our larger groups individual requirements and requests. The place is decorated very well and is very festive!

We were extremely disappointed with our visit. The food was poor and overpriced. We ordered two burgers (roughly £13 each) and chips (£5.50 each) and given the price, we expected something of decent quality. In reality, it was disgusting. The beef burger was rubbery, overcooked, and served with a bun that was charred around the edges, leaving a constant bitter aftertaste. The chicken burger had clearly been reheated; despite the menu's promise of a saucy buffalo chicken burger, it arrived with a small patch of dried-out sauce on a crunch-less breaded slab of meat and no salad. Both buns were stale to the point where they were constantly peeling upon touching them. When we complained, the waitress brought the same burger back with the addition of a few bits of wilted salad, claiming the chef said that’s how it should be. My partner tried to explain that it was completely different from what was ordered, but she shrugged it off and suggested we could speak to a supervisor if we wished. There was no real attempt to resolve the food quality, and the service felt dismissive. We wish we asked for our money back there and then. If you’re looking for decent pub grub, avoid this place. It made Wetherspoons seem like fine dining in comparison, the pictures speak for themselves!

An absolute gem. It looks olde worlde, I've not seen a pub like it. It utilises the space that it has, open one door that leads to even more space. I'm a wine drinker and honestly didn't have high expectations at all... but was pleasantly surprised. They had a nice selection. The glasses were spotless. So I'd definitely 100% go there again.

Lovely atmosphere, food is amazing, had Sunday roast, definitely having that again, staff are very friendly, especially alex and luke.

Was stuck in traffic outside this pub and decided to pop in as it looked so inviting with all its christmas decorations up and I'm so glad I did! Had a lovely chat with the guy behind the bar, Luke who turned out to be the manager. I ended up ordering food, i ordered the pie which was delicious and was served by Vicki who couldn't do enough for me. Really pleased with my decision to come here as it turned my miserable afternoon stuck in the car in the rain into a great evening! I will definitely be returning soon.

Loved the vibe of the place. I had the classic burger and beer and it was delicious. I was served by Moema and Ketsia and they both were lovely and attentive. It was a bit cold but the outside garden by the canal is just amazing. Hard to find a place like this in West London. Totally recommend it.

I've recently visited this charming pub with my boyfriend. The atmosphere was super cosy and the staff made us feel very welcomed. The biggest surprise,though, was the amazing burger that we tried!! 17 of us went to the restaurant to celebrate a birthday. This spot is a family favourite. Despite having less staff than usual, the food was excellent, as usual, but the service we received from Moema and her team was 2nd to none. We took a while to order and had quite a varied choice of meals, we were all very well catered for, so much so that the staff were almost invisible. They were the isi g on the cake to a lovely family gathering. A huge thanks to Moema and her team. See you soon…..

The grand junction is one of my favourite places to dine. The service is always A+, everyone is polite. Today I went there for a nice late lunch with my family for my birthday and we were helped by Moema. She was so attentive and is always so helpful whenever I visit. I recently visited this pub for a Sunday roast, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The place itself is big and bright, with a beautifully designed interior that feels welcoming and comfortable. The highlight of the visit, however, was the exceptional service we received from Viktoria. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The roast itself was delicious and beautifully presented, making for an enjoyable and memorable outing. Highly recommend this pub for anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere and top-notch service!

I had an amazing time here! the view from the canal was amazing, the drinks and the service were great. My servers name was Ketsia and she was very polite, fast with service and overall made the experience comfortable and fun! Overall recommend you should come visit here when you can.

You won’t find a more enjoyable and hospitable pub than the GJA! Luke and his team are absolutely spot on from the moment you walk in till close. Some colleagues and myself are regulars due to working nearby and they always make us welcome with a smile come rain or shine. Recently we joined them for sit down event in the pub hosted by Beavertown Brewery. This consisted of a 5 course meal with accompanying beers and it was nothing short of fantastic. The location on the canal is great and the garden at the rear could host a small army for the football, a party or anything in between. Simply love coming here :)

Roast dinners are the best of their menu. Gabriel was quite attentive and made us feel comfortable. They take food allergies seriously which makes you feel safe. We will definitely keep coming.

Absolutely LOVE this place! Great food, drink and amazing vibes everytime I've been here. The staff are all super friendly and helpful and the manager Luke can't do enough to make coming here a great experience! They always seem to have something on as well whether it's the quiz, magician or a DJ! We've just booked for our upcoming Xmas party and cannot wait! 😁

I went with my friends it was a great experience as the atmosphere is cozzy the staff are good and the food looks great we had drinks only but a table on our side they had few meals and the food looks mouthwatering. They have a DJ she was good as she is always playing the hit music that kept us entertained the whole time. In the other side they have places beside the canal. Highly recommended

This is one of my favorite pubs in London but the service is always very slow.Food is very good .Nice terrace with a view at the river and nice atmosphere.

Service was poor, I arrived having booked a reservation no one even said hello and I was left standing for ages. Eventually found someone to be told that the the reservation hadn't been sorted. Then had to make my guests wait and we had to sort our own seats. Very disorganised. Food was substandard with the roast dinners lacking flavour. Especially the beef as it was so bland. Overall, disappointed as I'd usually enjoy a visit here.
