The Haven Arms in Ealing

It now has a Thai kitchen which serves freshly cooked Thai food. The chicken satay, Thai fish cakes, prawn Penang curry and Pla Rad Plick were all very good and better than those served in other Thai restaurants. Highly recommended.

Really great place to meet and have a drink. Played some pool and watched some football. Will definitely be going back.

The food was outstanding I was pleasantly surprised I will be back the starters sharing plate amazing the chicken red curry to die for so impressed .

We have just walked out of the haven because of a very rude bar maid, she shouted that my partner could not be behind the area where they keep cutlery. When he pointed out he was getting cutlery for us as our food had been served to our table she again was very rude and obnoxious. Then got a single fork and dropped on the table. When I asked if there was a manager the blond girl and dark haired girl were equally as rude and smirked like it was funny. If the manager/owner reads this it was the American ginger barmaid, she needs a course on customer service. We left having eaten a starter and didn’t pay, which means due to her rudeness the Thai kitchen lost £52. The starter was nice not anything to write home about and the veg on the weeping tiger was cold, we definitely won’t be going back here again

Didn't hang around that long as we both froze. Admittedly it had just opened so maybe took a while to warm up.

Wonderful hidden gem just off Ealing Broadway! I went for a drink with my mum in the beer garden, and had a wonderful time. There is so much more space than we thought, yet it still retained a very cosy atmosphere. Wood really recommend coming here for a a drink!

Fist rule of The Haven Arms is don’t talk about the toilet. If you do you’ll be barred. Other than that it’s a lovely little boozer.

Nice little pub, but just make sure to have had a dump at home, as the toilets are far from desirable. Although I hear you can have an Avatar experience in there

Everything about this pub makes me feel at home! The staff are perfect (all staff on rotation, I’ve been here that many days of the week to see them all!); the option of beers are premium; and I’ve only ever had a great night! Always feel warm, safe, and welcome, would even go so far as to say this is home. Always a good choice when in Ealing to choose the Haven

This pub has an amazing atmosphere with a great beer garden and pool table. The Thai food is so tasty that I’ve been back enough times to try almost everything on the menu. Great place for either a casual meal or a fun night out!

Mostly decent but wow the toilets were unacceptably disgusting. If they can’t be bothered to clean the toilets, I do worry about the state of the kitchen.

Great local pub. Very attentive staff, well priced beer and lovely Thai food. Has a strong sense of community and always welcoming.

I faced unjust treatment and harassment from management after sharing a photo of the unkempt restroom on social media. Whatever happened to freedom of speech? If the condition of the restroom is so offensive, it should be cleaned up. Now I’m barred ✌🏽

A lovely cosy little pub!! We stumbled across this pub while staying in Ealing. They had a great selection of drinks at the bar. They did serve food which smelt absolutely awesome, but we didn't eat there unfortunately. Looked full of families eating and drinking! They also had a working pool table! A cool pub which looked like it had plenty of history!!

I come in here for a drink every now and then, Massil and his team always treat me very well. Good beer at good prices, if you live local come visit.

Old school local pub with a medium sized garden and a pool table. Beer selection is extremely limited. Thai food inside is delicious and reasonably priced. Good place to watch football, especially QPR, Brentford, Fulham and Chelsea.

Best pub in Ealing bar none, and one of the best in London. Food outstanding & staff (esp Lucy & Gabby) were friendly & great fun. Recommended for live sports - 3 big screens, and one outside, with more than just football - and warm getaway from cold & rain to boot. Pints very reasonably priced - most expensive is Neck Oil (under £7) & good selection including Camden Hells, Guinness (well poured), Heineken, Moretti, John Smith’s and 1664!

The bartender was so rude and unnecessarily sassy to me? No idea why.

We stopped by this pub for a few beers on a recent Saturday evening, prior to going for dinner. Great atmosphere with well kept beer. Would recommend it if you're in the area and looking for a local pub.

They have a very nice beer garden. Bar staff were very friendly. The Guinness was well pulled and nicely chilled. One thing to improve would be to make sure all the tables outdoors have ashtrays. I think I saw one ashtray for like 8 tables. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Nice pub, small but cosy interior and small and pretty good pool table. Food served here and sports T.V.s dotted around the pub and in the garden. The garden area is equal in size to the interior, and new booths have been installed. Looks like improvements are being made currently. Good mix of guests and good staff. It was worth a visit and a good place to go with friends. It's just around the corner from Ealing Broadway station.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Haven Arms for the first time this year which now specialises in Thai cuisine, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt at home thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The cleanliness of the pub was also impressive, which added to the overall experience. To start, I ordered the mixed starters, which included a variety of Thai appetisers. The flavours were incredible and each dish was perfectly cooked. The crispy spring rolls and savory chicken satay were outstanding. To accompany my meal, I ordered several pints of Guinness and later switched to cider. The drinks were served cold and refreshing, and were the perfect complement to the spicy flavors of the Thai food. The standout of the meal was definitely the Thai Green Curry. The curry was rich and flavourful, and perfectly cooked. The variety of spices and seasonings made the dish unique and delicious and had just the right amount of heat. Despite the high quality of the food and drink, the prices were very reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable everything was, especially considering the outstanding quality. What really made my visit memorable, though, was the friendly and attentive service I received from John, the owner. He made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. While there was a slightly odd occurrence during my visit with an Irish gentleman called Dave kissing and cuddling fluffy white dog at the bar it didn’t detract from the overall positive experience I had at the Haven Arms pub. Overall, I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious food, great drinks, and friendly service in a cozy atmosphere. And who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and snag a seat in the VIP corner like I did. Great work John & The Team 👍

Had Sunday roast here with friends last week, and it was by far the best roast I have had in a pub in Ealing for a very, very long time. It was a lovely atmosphere, and the service was second to none. We will definitely be returning!

Very disappointed with my visit last week. Thought prices were too high , first pint I took back and was told they been having problems with that pint he offered me an alternative as I walked away another customer was taking his same pint back. Second pint no head whatsoever I pulled a face and she apologised. It was v cold most people had coats on, fire was roaring but only heating up that area. Probably won’t bother again.

About the best of the Ealing Broadway pubs nowadays if looking for a more traditional pub. Is a back street pub with an old fashioned tiled brickwork exterior which reflects the fairly traditional pub style and atmosphere to be found inside. Has extremely pleasant and efficient hardworking bar staff who, when not welcoming and serving customers quickly, are proactively collecting glasses and wiping down tables and the bar to keep everywhere looking immaculate. No sticky tables here! Good selection of lagers and real ale into the bargain, too

Busy pub, off the main hub from Ealing Broadway. Good back ground music. Food excellent and brilliant value for money. I had the sirloin steak. Last time I had one as good as this in a pub was when I was last at home in Ireland.

Let's be honest here. When you here the word "pub" this should be the gold standard. Very cosy atmosphere, comfortable seating (what?!), there's a fireplace going, there's a lovely cuddly labrador and overall feels like home. Basically they took all the annoying things from the more "modern" pubs and threw them in the bin, not overly loud music or crowded seating. The staff is absolutely great and treat you like their own family, each one is chatty in their own way and just makes you feel welcome. I love this place.

The Haven Arms is one of our two local pubs and its Sunday lunch markedly superior to The Wheatsheaf's. W had the roast beef and lamb options and both came with 6 vegetables , yorkshire pudding and gravy. Both meats were very tender and flavoursome. The five green veg were al dente, very much to our taste. The roast potatoes were not cooked enough and not that good. Overall a very good meal at about £20 per person including drinks.

I went with a mate yesterday for a few beers and Sunday roast. The staff are friendly and efficient and Shannon the General Manager is so welcoming and professional The beer is kept in top condition and the Sunday roast offer was first class. Both the beef and the lamb tasted superb as was the vegetables and of course the roast potatoes. Well worth a visit for a meal or just to relax over a beer or 2
