Churchfiield Cafe in Ealing

Visitamos hoy, cuando habíamos esperado 20 minutos para que nos tomaran nuestro pedido, (después de 20 minutos esperando afuera) debí haber ido con mi instinto y haberme ido en este punto. Tardaron otros 50 minutos en llegar nuestro café y helado. ¡No acaba de leer esos 50 minutos equivocados para tomar un café! ! El servidor se disculpó, pero no es culpa suya que la dirección necesite tener más personal.Parece que el personal de la cocina corría a un mejor ritmo porque a las personas que habían caminado 30 minutos después de nosotros se les estaba sirviendo comida caliente. No pude ver si les habían servido bebidas ya que la mesa estaba detrás de nosotros.Mirando a mi alrededor, pude ver que otros estaban frustrados con el servicio. Aunque el helado es bueno y la comida caliente se veía bien, no volveremos a visitar. Tres estrellas por helado, cero por servicio.

Well what can I say that’s not said in the Title. Wonderful friendly, spotless cafe with gorgeous food and always a daily paper to read. Will keep returning here, best Eggs Bacon Benedict I have found in a long while.

Well located and well priced with friendly and helpful service. Good spot for or a convenient stop. Good Coffee in a well maintained venue.

On the back of trip advisor reviews, I visited with my wife this cafe. Not much option for vegetarians when my wife doesn’t do eggs. But we continued, I had the ‘crusty’ toast with scrambled egg with salmon. Wife made up her breakfast when the photo on trip advisor of field mushroom looked nice. And two coffees and a smoothie. The smoothie was good ... hmm ..that where the good points stop. Mine came out before my wife’s and was cold. My coffee was cold and my wife’s was I drinkable. I sent my food back. Mine came back out again before my wife’s and 5 minutes later my wife’s came out. The ‘crusty ‘ bread was now soggy and the scrambled egg tasteless and over cooked. I was pleasantly surprised to have a field mushroom which was nice .. My wife’s food was bland, And not eatable and no field mushroom... ahh. just chopped button mushrooms. I could have given her mine but it was contaminated by the salmon. We were never asked is everything ok with the food. When I went to pay, I asked if they was expecting me to pay for all the meal? It was only after a while they didn’t charge me for the food just £8 for the drinks ( which the coffee was up drinkable ) . They did say sorry but that word is over rated these days..I think their hope was that I wouldn’t write this review.. too late . But I think I should, as I went there on the back of other reviews. Still hungry we walked 50 yards down the road to churchfield food store which is run by an Italians family.. now they can make a good cup of coffee. I was disappointed,then delighted, and I think trip advisor visitors should know .

Constante como ella va café local. Muy bonito huevos escalfados con aguacate y huevos royale, con los huevos de rango. El resto de la carne es una pena no libre. Un buen café y zumo de naranja recién exprimido. No es el mejor en la carretera, pero bueno Churchfield en general y una excelente relación calidad-precio.

Awesome breakfast, plenty of choice and really lovely friendly staff. Sunny outdoor seating on a smart west London road. You can’t go wrong!

Hemos venido aquí para el brunch unas cuantas veces, y cada vez ha entregado. La comida es muy buena, hay una vasta cantidad de opciones en el menú, desde el desayuno hasta el pescado y patatas fritas. La última vez que fui tuve la salchicha y tocino baguette - fue un buen tamaño de la porción por sólo £3. 75, y el tocino y las salchichas estaban cocinados a la perfección. El resto de la familia también estaban muy contentos con sus comidas. Las bebidas también son estupendas, con algunos de los batidos más increíbles. El personal es encantador y amable, también y el servicio es muy eficiente. Sin duda recomendaría este café.

Tenía la impresión de que el menú era un lugar de 'churchfields más extenso de lo que es.He estado dos veces, una vez para el desayuno y una vez para el almuerzo. El desayuno es bastante grande y yo opté por los huevos Benedict. Por desgracia, aunque de aspecto genial, este fue arruinado por terribles, vinegary salsa holandesa. El tocino era bastante duro. Me sentí un poco enferma por un día.Segunda visita (que les da una oportunidad) probé el hígado y el tocino. Fue servida en un cuenco de sopa de moda con puré debajo unos esta genial precuela de hígado y, de nuevo, que duro bacon. Me temo que no era muy agradable. We are regular attendants to Churchfields. We love the food and service and tell our friends to visit whenever they are in Acton.

Vine aquí para un rápido ponerse con un amigo. Había una muy buena selección de cafés y muchas otras especialidades de tés y batidos. Sin embargo, el servicio era bastante lento y tuvimos que recordar al servidor que habíamos pedido una tarta y croissant. Además, había sólo un tipo de café y cruasanes para elegir. Aunque la tarta de arándanos era deliciosamente húmeda y el croissant sabía muy bien, hubiera preferido más variedad.

I popped in for breakfast after a swim, feeling like a pastry with my coffee. My choice was limited to one type of croissant however. And although it was OK it appears that cooked breakfasts may be their priority? The coffee was good.

A menudo me encuentro revisando lugares para comer en mi propia 'Hood. Así es con gran placer que me puedo informar Churchfields craqueo como un lugar para comer. Las porciones eran generosas y lo más importante, por supuesto, todo un sabor delicioso. El servicio era bueno y el personal amable, a pesar de ser un poco apresurado el Domingo (justo después de comer) que visitamos. Está lentamente desarrollando Churchfield Road en uno de los lugares más vibrantes en Acton, ayudado en parte por establecimientos tales como Churchfields. Si quieres continuar, salir y probar!

The place it's nice, clean and quiet. Food and drinks freshly done after order it, which make you wait a bit but totally worth it. Normal prices

I have only been here once, but will definitely go back for the butter croissants, was fresh that morning. Their other pastry selection looked good also. I had a baguette sandwich to take away (wasn't that great).

'Yummy' says daughter, gloriously understating the food from this wonderful cafe. Admittedly heart-stopping portions but delicious, filling and in a lovely cafe with the most friendly staff. Something's definitely in the air along Churchfield road with several new and fun places to eat, and Churchfields do not disappoint!!

Good to find another new (to me) eaterie in Churchfield Rd. I had a light breakfast of coffee and a croissant. Both were OK but not special. The staff were friendly and efficient, it felt relaxed and welcoming, had a few other customers and the wifi worked. Maybe I'll go back to check out the lunchtime offers. I notice they have TA cards encouraging feedback, prominently displayed!

I had the smashed avocado and chili on sourdough bread with poached eggs. It was to die for!!The smoothies are lovely too. I had the kale and pineapple and was pleasantly surprised. Will be visiting here again!

This cafe has recently had a makeover and very good it is too now. It is much more inviting, the menu is varied and the food cooked well (and tasty!). I have only eaten breakfasts here when not local to my house, but they have always been good.

I previously ate in this café back in 2001/2 when I suspect it was owned by others. Was passing today (10/01/2017) so thought I would pay another visit with work colleagues. Wow, a new look with clean lines and smart décor. Staff very welcoming, menus nice and food was top notch with good choice of breakfast items.Would certainly recommend.

Coffee leaves a lot to be desired and, unfortunately, the eggs benedict was even worse - tasteless, the hollandaise tasted of cheap butter, I would have left it if I wasn't so hungry. The only good thing about this place is that I could take my dog in but we won't be back

Just popped in for a quick coffee while an elderly relative visited her accountant. Nice and clean and the staff were polite and attentive. I didn't have time for anything to eat but other diners plates looked excellent.Not much of a review I know but I just wanted to wish them all the best. London definatly needs more places like this. The coffee was excellent by the way.

A slightly upmarket caff with a menu to satisfy most tastes along the Churchfield Road and a friendly atmosphere due to both the staff and the customers...there were plenty of regulars sunning themselves at the outside tables, which is always a good sign. We had some very decent burgers and wonderful fresh sardines at prices you'd be lucky to pay in any so-called gastropub. Will definitely be going back.

First visit to this lovely little cafe serving freshly cooked food. We had Eggs Benedict and salmon and scrambled eggs on toast. Both were good and were nicely presented. They were great and the young lady who served us was chatty and pleasant. Sevice was quite fast. Most meals are about £4 to £6. The cafe was busy with plenty of regular, local customers. Will visit again when in Acton.

Ordered a fried breakfast with toast & bubble & squeak, unfortunately this cafe had no concept of either toast or bubble. The toast ? Was bread that appeared to have had a lighter passed over it for a few seconds before being served, 'a tip for all cafes, if it bends it's still bread, toast it ! The bubble had very little bubble & no squeak at all, the sad dollop that was looking up at me from my plate had the texture of gruel and consisted of plain boiled potato mash which by no stretch of the imagination was Bubble & Squeak. The rest of the breakfast was okay although portions were not generous, the staff were courteous and the room clean & tidy I live locally and will probably use them again in the hope they've read this and can get some basics right.Paul

Been there a few time, good service, great food, good atmosphere. You had best ask for your eggs to be soft, otherwise can be slightly overdone. Please tell the waiter to bring your toast with your breakfast, otherwise they bring it out 5 minutes before your breakfast, very annoying, as toast is cold before your breakfast arrives!!!!

I stumbled across this place completely by accident while I was out with a friend and needing something to eat... It's an independent place, which is so refreshing not to have the usual menu under all the big brand fascias and the 'average' service and food quality that goes with that! This cafe, although I really want to say bistro!, has a wide menu ranging from snacks to full meals or just a coffee and delicious home made cake choices. I had eggs benedict - freshly prepared, quality food like I would like to be able to make at home, but obviously never would! The staff are friendly and attentive enough without being over-bearing, the food is wonderful, the environment contemporary but classic at the same time, and soooo reasonably priced. Highly recommended for a snack, brunch or full meal - a pleasure to experience - thank you Churchfields.

I discovered this café recently and have been going quite often ever since. The food is lovely (they use organic eggs). I have had brunch there and have never been disappointed. Their portions are so generous! I love the quiche too and the owner's homemade cakes are a delight to the senses. The coffee is VERY GOOD for London (I am from Melbourne so I can be quite picky with my coffee). The staff are very helpful and nice - especially one Spanish hottie with a man-bun. Very highly recommended and under-rated. You won't be disappointed and you won't leave with an empty wallet either.

We went for a early brunch. The food was good, but the plates came apart from each other, so when my plate came, my husband's was cold. Except that, the environment is good, helpful staff, fair price and the portion size could be slightly bigger. Would go again, but isn't my favourite yet.

Been here couple of times with my son - always fresh and simple food and very friendly service. Place seems quite new so need to settle in with the neighbourhood and it's busy times. It's becoming a tradition specially for breakfast. Well done guys and keep up the good work !!

The decor is simple and contemporary. It was busy on a Sunday lunchtime, a good atmosphere, but not too noisy that it was to loud to hear oneself talk! The breakfasts are good value - the price includes tea and toast.

Not a nice experience.Went there last Saturday morning for breakfast.I ordered scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on toast and coffee. 20 minutes after my coffee arrived, not the greatest coffee. After 50 minutes my food was still missing. I decided to leave hungry and upset. I do not wish to come to this cafe again. They couldn't handle being busy although the place is very small and they were 7 people working there.

We have been visiting this cafe for the past 15+ years, it is now under new management. The food is still fine, however we find that the last 3 visits, each time our order has been taken incorrectly or some items have been forgotten ,and when paying the bill, we found extra items that were included in the meal were charged again.

I enjoyed my breakfast over there and the prices are quite decent. The meat was cooked well, the hash browns are properly done and i would strongly recommend a Big Breakfast for the hungry!

Always in here on a Saturday morning for breakfast, great fry ups, coffee is excellent & everything reasonably priced. The guy who owns it and all the staff seem really friendly and service is great. Try the chicken, bacon & avocado club sandwich - delicious!

I loved the roast chicken. I am pretty sure it was fresh and not frozen. The gravy served was not upto the mark. Would be much better had that been made out of some stock rather than granules. Overall was a good experience
