The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in England

Tasty fish and chips. Some of the best I’ve had in a while. Great portion size and friendly staff. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in the local area.

Food was good but service appalling.

Tasty alternative to KFC. But nicer. Not so greasy. Always hot, fresh cooked and tasty fluffy chips

Wrong flavour rice for the second time , no refund given the first time as they just said it wasn’t eligible for a refund

Lovely pub with a decent menu especially the smoke house items. The mixed combo was really good. Friendly staff and good prices.

Popped in on a Friday about 5:30pm, so wasn’t expecting it to be busy. First impression: smart restaurant layout and far too many staff. There were at least 8 serving staff wafting around, half of them on their phones. We went into the beer garden, which was pretty tatty (assuming that it’s next on the list for an update). We got a drink and the halloumi fries. Think the picture speaks for itself - these were £6.50

Very good value set lunch. the stir fry vegetables with pork was mostly onions and pork (you can also have chicken) but plenty of it and very tasty. Comes with rice, a small soup, another small dish of your choice and Kimchi. Fantastic value at £10.00. Only one man serving at lunchtime so service is not especially quick. But to be fair I didn't want to use the app and it took him a while to work that out Not sure why people complain about the service charge. Most restaurants have that these days and by law you can refuse to pay it if you think the service is very bad. I didn't begrudge it as the meal was good value

Almorcé con mi amiga y pedí una hamburguesa y papas fritas me sentí muy incursiva cuando me preguntaron cómo quería que se cocinara mi hamburguesa estaba muy deliciosa y no tardó mucho en llegar

Food was delicious and served hot!

Lovely friendly staff and great selection of draught beers, wines and drinks. Sunday lunch menu was great value and delicious. We had beef, chicken and trio which were all cooked to perfection with lovely fresh vegetables and huge Yorkshire puddings! Highly recommended
