It was very hot but it was fresh and tasty.

The staff is friendly and quick. Loved the food. They customised it really well according to my liking. Chicken was tender. The rice were cooked to prefection.

Delivery man was extremely polite and the food was good. Will definitely order again in the future.

Came on family vacation and just had quick lunch on day one and the PEPES southend has become our favourite. No joke we spent 2 days in southend and we went there 4times . their grilled chicken is really juicy and lot of options (flavours ) to choose. best halal joint in southend . Looks like pepes far better than nandos here

Ordered a whole peri chicken and paid 19pounds for it Guess what they send me one small regular chips with it I dont understand 4portion chicken then 4 portion chips Can anybody explain this to me It was late at night 11.30pm Couldnt complain 🤔

Placed an order on JustEat and the delivery driver delivered the wrong items. Called up the restaurant and their response “what are we supposed to do about that?”. Very rude and unprofessional customer service and won’t be ordering from them again.

Extremely fast delivery time I’m impressed with the delivery driver coming all the way upstairs to give me my food.:) also, food is amazing boiling hot and fresh thank you guys!!!

Pepes Kingsbury is my favourite branch of Pepe's. For years, they have served fresh and delicious Piri peri chicken which is cheaper and competitive as popular restaurants. consistently good.

I stand by my last reviews but unfortunately today the chef let the chicken cook for too long, so I removed some pieces that were charred. This time, however, does not put me off because they are still top notch! but please note this chef.

What happened to the Mango & Lime sauce? Usually the food is exceptional but the sauce was just ultra-sweet, tasted more like tomato sauce but unbearably sweet.. I hope this is not the new recipe. Ordinarily 5*Stars, but for the first time we didn't finish. Taste was not good. 2*

Today only I had a takeaway , the chicken and paneer rice meals labeled extreme hot. However, both dishes were disgustingly over-spiced to the point where they were inedible. Despite my past positive experiences with their extreme hot dishes, this time was a culinary catastrophe. The staff rushed my order, if they didn't wanted to take it they should have just said no. I'm feeling sick after eating one bite only and had to throw the whole thing and even after throwing away the whole thing there was sound of red spiced gravy left which is never there whenever I ordered earlier.

Worst customer service ever i see in my life never come back sorry for the owner . The table outside and have a food absolutely dirty. All the food when im ask them for the sauce asking for extra money, which is a never had this problem with the other puppies

when you write the order inatructions clearly they will normally cook the way you want. Very reliable service, been using Pepes for nearly a decade!

fries were hard even when I told them to send me crispy but not hard fries as they are in a habit of doing. This was unusually a disappointing order.

there was not five strips just just three strips and a couple of small broken pieces.

the wrap was carelessly wrapped as the food was already out of the wrap and there was not much chicken just alot of salad and sauce and also not warm
