Four of us were absolutely blown away by Lucky Yu this evening. Not one plate we were served lacked anything! Everything was cooked perfectly and absolutely packed with flavour. Service was friendly, helpful and really attentive with water being filled across the evening and constant checks on the table. Iāve given 5 stars but have two small negatives to mention. Firstly, the cocktail we tried was Ā£10.50 which came with a big cube of ice, we pulled the ice out to find lucky if there was 50ml of liquid in the glassā¦ I wasnāt overly impressed. Secondly, I thought some of the prices were quite steep? Yes the food was delicious, but for example the prawn bao bun was Ā£9.50 for one, this seemed quite a lot to me. These are just wee things though. The food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. I think it speaks volumes the restaurant opens at 5pm and it was full by 5:15pm! Thoroughly enjoyed it, would definitely return.

Lovely atmosphere, service was friendly and attentive, and most importantly I ate the best Vietnamese food I never experienced in Scotland.

This place simply does not disappoint. Whether it is the speedy and friendly service or the beautifully laid out food that fulfills all your cravings, you must visit this place. There are a lot of vegan restaurants that boast being great, yet they lack the key ingredient: simply great food, without anything extra. For a vegan restaurant, I look for comforting flavours that deliver and make me and my tummy happy. I have finally found a place I can openly recommend to everyone. Reasonable prices, great services, friendly atmosphere and food you can actually be happy with. I need to go back here, asap. You should too.

As a Vietnamese, I loved Sen when it first opened due to the authenticity, but a recent visit back after 1.5 year was beyond disappointing. The food is now clearly catered to the standard Western taste and the details that made it authentic was gone. I could not recognise the dishes anymore. The female waiter clearly did not know how the dishes are supposed to be eaten (I asked if the pho came with cooked or rare beef and she was oblivious.. ) and did not give us chopsticks/ spoon for pho, I instead got a fork and I had to ask twice for the chopstick. 10% service charge added automatically. The portion size was half of what it used to be, and does not represent how Pho is served in Vietnam. Even the most essential herb - basil, was absent. I'm ashamed to have recommended Sen to my friends based on my previous experience. Will absolutely not return.

Wow this is the most beautiful Chinese. The food is beautiful, well presented, fresh & flavoursome. The service was professional and very knowledgeable, as one if our party was Vegan. They adapted dishes that werenāt on the menu to Vegan for us. Portion sizes meant we came back with a takeaway too! The house wine was a good quality and the selection of other drinks was excellent. We will be backā¤ļø

I strongly recommend sundubu jjigae. Whatever you order, I'm sure you'll be able to taste amazing real Korean food. This restaurant is the best place I've been to since I've lived in UK. I went because I had a bad cold and wanted to eat warm Korean food. The soft tofu stew and side dishes were all excellent, and the owner was really friendly! They brought me things that are good for colds, and the day was very cold, but I received the warm warmth of Korea here and was warm for a little whileš

Very good food and service. Good vibe and a good mixture of Afghani and Pakistani dishes. We tried Kabuli pilau and the portions were so big. Food was very delicious and the lamb was so succulent. The prices are so fair considering such a big portion. Fantastic place and will go back when I am in Edinburgh again.

I had high expectations because of the high ratings, but... it doesn't taste like Korean. 1. This restaurant is not run by Koreans. The interior is decorated in Korean style, but it definitely doesn't taste that way. 2. The tteokbokki was edible, but it tasted like commercial frozen tteokbokki. And I don't know if it's because I ordered multiple menus, but the portion size was much smaller than other reviews. 3. The chicken definitely does not taste like Korean chicken. It tasted greasy like karaage and had a foul smell of chicken. The color of the fries was dark and the color of the chicken was also black. 4. Kimbap was the worst. Perhaps because the person who cooked it was different, compared to other review photos, the kimbap was mushy and almost ready to fall apart. The contents also contain paprika instead of carrots and the cucumber flavor is very strong. It's not kimbap, it's closer to Japanese maki or rolls, but the taste is very different from Korea. Overall Review: Feels like a Korean restaurant run by a Chinese person in London's Chinatown. It doesn't taste like the Korean food you eat in Korea at all.
