I don’t know what possessed me to go out for lunch with two toddlers… sometimes you just need noodles… and it was lovely! We were taken care of so well by the wonderful staff, handing out crayons and kids’ chopsticks and chasing me down outside the restaurant to return a forgotten sippy cup. Thank you!

I finally visited here after moving to the area a couple of years ago, and I wish I'd been before! It was one of the best meals I've had in a long time, and as good as any Indian / Bangladeshi meal I've ever had. The menu is huge with loads of specials I'd never seen before so it was pretty hard to choose. We had onion bhaji - crispy and light- naan bread - also clearly straight out of the oven. And the main chicken dish was packed with onions and peppers, and the aloo gobi, full of flavour and a perfect side dish. I got the impression the food is made from scratch, packed full of fresh ingredients and spices - not just the meat and sauce approach you sometimes get with bigger chain restaurants. The staff were really friendly, and prices very reasonable. A carafe of house wine for £8.50 and a bill of around £20 per person, you really can't complain! Can't wait to visit again to try some more of their dishes. Thanks guys!

Best Indian Food in Sheffield! "Rajput is hands-down one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to in Sheffield. The lamb biryani was full of flavor, and the portion size was generous. The staff really took the time to make sure we were enjoying our meal, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone craving a proper Indian feast!"

Visited Colombo Street Food yesterday for the first time.... It was delicious! The garlic chili chicken curry was so good, large portion of chicken and was served by a lovely, smiley couple at the stall. Would thoroughly recommend and a really nice atmosphere in the food hall. Overall great lunch

I’m getting more and more into Thai/ Malaysian/ Asian food – especially a good noodle dish with some fried chicken, a bit of spice and I especially like it when a dish topped with a fried egg. Or a decent Thai curry / a laksa with a good kick of spice goes down well too. So when we visited Syiok-Lah, they provided two of my ultimate plates of heaven; Maggie Goreng – Fried Chicken (£13.95): Stir-fried Malaysian noodles with mixed veg, egg, topped with spring onion, crispy shallots, fresh chillies, and lime to finish. Rice Dish – Beef Rendang (12.95): 6 hours slow-cooked beef in 10 combinations of herbs, spices, coconut milk and toasted coconut. Served with coconut rice and cucumbers. Garnish with coriander and fresh chillies We also shared a Chicken Satay Bao Bun (£7.50) Everything was exceptionally delicious and we cleared the plates (as you can see). The service was swift and staff really helpful and friendly. Other dishes on their menu include Roti Canai (two pieces of flaky roti bread served with a choice of Beef Rendang or Chicken Curry), Laksa, Loaded Fries, Chicken Drumsticks and more. There is only one Vegan option currently but this may change as they grow?!

Hong Kong-style tea restaurant, buy three get one free for dim sum. It must be the signature rice rolls. The rice rolls are wrapped in crispy bean curd skin and the shrimps are slippery. Both the cup rice and porridge are big bowls. The shrimp dumplings and siu mai are delicious. There is paid parking at the door £1/hour

The food here was edible, but really bland. I ordered the spicy sweet fried chicken. It was basically the same thing I could get from the Chinese takeaway, except they call it sweet and sour chicken there and it’s half the price! No spice and nothing Korean about it except the minuscule amount of kimchi it was served with. Definitely wouldn’t bother.
