The best restaurants serving Asian food in Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

Me and my partner have been going to this Wagamamas for about 5 years for special occasions. We are never disappointed. The menu has changed a few times since we've been going, but the dishes we love are always there. We love to see menu changes and even tried a new menu item today. Our server Barrie was so attentive, and of course, the other staff are always lovely anyway. We will still be going to this place for a long time.

Just had the usual Biryani Tikka special along with a Saag and Rogan Josh. Spot on as usual, this place is the best !!!

I’m getting more and more into Thai/ Malaysian/ Asian food – especially a good noodle dish with some fried chicken, a bit of spice and I especially like it when a dish topped with a fried egg. Or a decent Thai curry / a laksa with a good kick of spice goes down well too. So when we visited Syiok-Lah, they provided two of my ultimate plates of heaven; Maggie Goreng – Fried Chicken (£13.95): Stir-fried Malaysian noodles with mixed veg, egg, topped with spring onion, crispy shallots, fresh chillies, and lime to finish. Rice Dish – Beef Rendang (12.95): 6 hours slow-cooked beef in 10 combinations of herbs, spices, coconut milk and toasted coconut. Served with coconut rice and cucumbers. Garnish with coriander and fresh chillies We also shared a Chicken Satay Bao Bun (£7.50) Everything was exceptionally delicious and we cleared the plates (as you can see). The service was swift and staff really helpful and friendly. Other dishes on their menu include Roti Canai (two pieces of flaky roti bread served with a choice of Beef Rendang or Chicken Curry), Laksa, Loaded Fries, Chicken Drumsticks and more. There is only one Vegan option currently but this may change as they grow?!

We ordered food for delivery at 7-30pm. It was delivered at 6-20pm, well over an hour early , but despite this it was stone cold and stale. The starters, onion bhajis and seekh kebabs were awful and the main courses bland and tasteless. We have used this restaurant previously with satisfaction, but on this occasion the meal was a disaster and inedible. A telephone call to the restaurant within 15 minutes of receipt met with complete disinterest and complacency. A truly terrible inedible experience.

Todavía tengo que tener una mala comida de cualquier manera. La comida siempre está caliente, cocinada correctamente dependiendo de cómo quieras los ingredientes principales, es decir, gambas, cordero, ternera, ya que siempre se han cocinado bien. Sin embargo, no se trata solo de la comida, sino que el personal debe estar altamente capacitado, ya que su atención al detalle y cuidado es de 5 *. Con demasiada frecuencia los restaurantes se olvidan de capacitar al personal, pero aparentemente no aquí. Si usted tiene una situación simplemente pregunte no sufra entonces quejarse después de 10 / 10. No, no tengo acciones aquí, pero desearía tenerlas.

La Joya cerrada sobre hace cuatro meses. Nunca me pareció muy bueno, con bastante comida insípida y pretencioso ambiente.

The worst,I ordered some Dim sum and they tasted bad and after trying just a bite of everything I got food poisoning,awful,vacation ruined by getting sick!!!!

Service was friendly. 돼 짱 찌개 soup was very salty. Not much in vegetables. More water based.

The food here was edible, but really bland. I ordered the spicy sweet fried chicken. It was basically the same thing I could get from the Chinese takeaway, except they call it sweet and sour chicken there and it’s half the price! No spice and nothing Korean about it except the minuscule amount of kimchi it was served with. Definitely wouldn’t bother.
