A great night, the food was lovely and plenty of choice. Toilets left alot to be desired, probably shouldn't be letting little kids go off to the toilets unsupervised.

That was so good!! Plenty of tasty food and desserts!! Easy parking. Not crowded but I needed a book table. Make life so easy. I especially want to say a big thank you to the man who cooks fish and steak. Unbelievable high level skills!!! Very impress! You are the top kitchen chef thank you all!

Food was awful, cold, chewy and tasteless. Won't be going again. Complained and only received 10% off the bill. Wasn't even worth £10 for the 3 of us.

Overall it’s good if you have a big group people looking for an all you can eat buffet but don’t expect high quality food or ingredients.

Ignore the recent review left by Mr Istakhar Shaikh...we were sat near you today Mr Shaikh and heard your complaint to the manager. If the food was soooo bad, and you found cockroaches, why did your large party keep going up for more food, again and again and again? Why didnt you complain earlier? Why wait until your bellies were full? Why stay, and continue to eat? The Manager handled your complaint with calmness, professionalism and dignity even when you got your phone out, waved it in front of him and threatened you were going to leave a bad review if he didn't comp your meals. You just didn't want to pay for your food!! I haven't been to Cosmos in years. The food today was beautiful, red hot and lots to choose from. Cleanliness and customer service 10/10 ...couldn't fault anything about my visit today. Will definitely not leave it years before we go back again.

We found cockroaches and informed waiter umesh and manager Andrew they both were not bother about the concern and gave a reason as changes of weather could be a reason to find cockroaches in the food. This is a serious health and safety hazard. I shall be reporting this to the health and safety department.

Food tastes worse than cardboard. There was nothing that had flavour, or texture. Go elsewhere!! The atmosphere was kids running around trying all the “multicultural” food. I feel for them forced to eat cardboard for their birthday. When you try anything, realise it’s god awful, you go to put your plate on the side of the already small table. Then go try something else. Realise it’s god awful, place it to the side. Rinse and repeat. You see the problem? The plates stack and stack until there’s no space and no one comes and takes the plates. You’re now left with a pile of **** food. Only positive, you can no longer try anything else. Honestly, for the same price there are so many better places: Zaap, Olive, Grazie, Dominos, KFC, Greggs, etc… Pls look at trip advisor or somewhere else for better recommendations. Please do not go here.

Food was stale and bland. Had no flavour. Quite frankly the only good thing was the ice cream machine. Not really worth the money despite being a buffet

Cosmo had for a few years now been our family birthday treat. Since the restaurant 'upgrade' there appears to be fewer of the more unusual food on offer, the focus being on generics such as tikka masala, sweet & sour, etc. This is a shame as part of the enjoyment was trying something you wouldn't get in a supermarket ready meal! We went for 13.15, mid lunch time on a Friday, it was moderately busy but sadly any empty serving trays for pilau rice, naans, prawn toast were never replenished. Some foods which should have been hot were merely tepid. Unfortunately it was the school holidays so as well as sceaming children there were young children wondering around the food aisles unaccompanied. Possibly an age restifction should be in place to avoid injury or parents reminded to supervise their offspring. A different clientele seems to the target demographic now... what a shame. We left feeling disappointed by the experience.

Poor quality. Reduced number of dishes. I am a Cosmo customer for over 10 years and each time I go there, see that the dishes are less than previous time and the quality is poorer. It was my last experience in Cosmo paying a five star restaurant price for the food from can.

Recently visited on a business trip with colleagues. There’s was. Great selection of drinks and cocktails at very reasonable prices. Having ordered drinks and paid for the food we were taken to our table. Cosmo is buffet style with several different cuisines on offer. Something to suit everyone

Good food, reasonable prices, friendly place

This place has fallen in quality massively. Used to be top notch food with creamy and delicious desserts. Now it's just frozen food reheated and sold as quality food. Meet are dry and tasteless, rice tasteless and dry. No cream on the dessert. What a disappointment. Half of the restaurant empty but they still cram people into one section. You're eating inches away from strangers. Never again 🙋🏻

It's great advise booking as it seems to get quite busy, plenty of food to choose from as you would expect, but the food is excellent, the Indian section is outstanding the chicken tikka is 2nd too none. The chicken wings are best I have ever tasted, could go on and on, the staff are excellent, friendly, polite, smart, and efficient, I loved it see you again soon 👍

We came back last Saturday lunch after the renovating and it was disapointed. They increase the ticket price but food are not varied as before, even though on Saturday. We expected for more choice to pick but only some we feel like to eat. Chinese dishes and dessert are really delicious 👍

LIMITED INDIAN FOOD and you won't find INDIAN spicy flavours. They prepared Indian food according to foreigners standards... But you can enjoy with what you have their.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and set up our expectations for the food. We came in at 12:30pm, recently after COSMO Sheffield opens their doors at 12pm; was seated at our table and the staff were lovely. However.... Was disappointed by the food experience with various collective reasons due to taste, temperature and texture: 1. All chicken dishes were stringy/chewy and would not recommend, as we tried the chicken from each of the sections and appeared to be slightly overcooked. 2. Sadly the calamari rings appeared to be fake, as they were bland and chewy. Tempura prawns were dry. 3. Indian food was almost tasteless, for example, the channa masala was watery, could be improved with more seasoning/ spices. 4. It really says something about a place when the only semi-decent food is fried. 5. The rice was crumbly and not fresh. 6. The hot desserts were not hot. Could use some custard with the crumble. Compared to Reading COSMO, I was disappointed by the lack of any real quality in the food. I enjoyed eating the vegetables and from the salad bar; with that being the only fresh food within the restaurant. Our table also enjoyed using the ice cream machine. But that being said, the lack of freshness and quality put me off from eating any further and led to a lot of food waste (from someone who usually likes to eat anything put in front of them). Therefore, respectfully it was not worth my £17.

I tried this restaurant for the first time, very disappointing. Even hot Food was cold. Chicken tasted weird, It wasn't fresh at all. food was like ready meal . nothing special. I had only salad.

I often take my family to this restaurant to eat. The food is always good and my family likes it very much. But I went there recently and found that the current Chinese food is too salty...

Delicious food. Lots of verity and well laid out. The staff always seem nice and friendly, they are quick to take away dirty dishes and replenish the food as it gets low. I do find it very expensive though. It does seem over priced for what it is.

We always come to Cosmo with friends and family for the fresh all you can eat food.It is always cosy and clean.we love it!

Always a great place to eat, especially as it is an: "all you can eat", though I did prefer Cosmo during the time prior to it closing for refurbishment. As far as parking goes, central Sheffield is a nightmare. Sheffield council can take the blame for this. All the new bus gates, one way roads and ULEZ areas are a real pain in the "rear end".

Amazing food here including teppanyaki. Please remove the chocolate fountain as it looks horrible when not in use. A great selection of food which is well cooked and maintained temperature wise. Busy even at 6pm on a Saturday so do consider booking.

Unfortunately food was quite bland A lot to choose from but nothing special The worst part was, when went to the toilet it was almost like everyone forgot about that place It was dirty, bins are overflowing and both sinks are blocked. That was Such a shame because We used to like the place but not after this experience

Nice place in the heart of Sheffield to get an all you can eat experience. All the food is cooked well and the plates are replenished when running low. My only issue with the venue is the close packed tables and chairs that make you feel like you could touch elbows with people that sit adjacent to you. This could be improved upon but it only really affects couples or 2 people parties. Best advice, take a third wheel and secure a booth or bigger table.

Brilliant food and staff. All the food was hot and delicious. And i like the fact all the staff eat together between day and evening shifts.

The open buffet restaurant is divided into several sections such as Chinese, Indian, desserts, salads and etc. like in this type of restaurants. The chicken every day wasn't very good, I wouldn't recommend a dish with chicken (or we got it wrong, but it definitely wasn't fresh), there were a lot of potatoes of various types, it seemed to me that there were more fries than meat. A lot of things that you can find in other restaurants, the advantage is that it is cheap and you can eat really well. Chinese section – the best, most delicious. I was very disappointed with the desserts, everything tasted... as if it were made of paper. I don't recommend desserts at all, it's better to focus on meat and goulashes, very good mushroom sauce. The bathrooms are a bit dirty, I recommend having something of your own to disinfect your hands, it's ok.

I'll be very honest the food is a disgusting disaster, we came from Doncaster because I thought Doncaster cosmos was of poor quality but I was completely wrong here in Sheffield it's truly horrible, I will never eat in this place again in my life!

Tables are really close together even though it wasn't busy.. I felt they could of seated the table next to us a bit further away! the way the seats are set your seated right next to the oposit customers. I mean inches away from each other

We made a booking for 12.30, Tuesday 14th May. We were quickly taken to our seats and shortly afterwards, our drinks order was taken. Staff were very kind and friendly, after each food course, our plates were quickly taken away, with staff asking if we were enjoying our food. All food was hot, nicely presented and tasty. We sampled a variety of Chinese, Indian, and sushi dishes. The roast Pork and cauliflower cheese on the roast lunch section, were lovely, although the accompanying roast potatoes and vegetables, were clearly frozen. Yorkshire puddings were inedible. The dessert counter, had something for everyone and a nice finish to our meal. The cost for a hour and half slot was £16.99 per person, bottomless sodas were £3.95 each and a bottle of white wine £19.50. There were 4 in our party and it wasn't overly busy, so time to enjoy our lunch. I must agree however that if I had been meeting friends (we like to chat), it would have probably felt rushed. I would definitely return however as there’s something for everyone.

Was my friends 21st birthday yesterday. His parents booked him a table at Cosmos Sheffield , invited family from Portugal and a few close friends. We were 21 in total. The table was booked well over a month ago.... When we all arrived at Cosmos sheffield , the restaurant was near enough empty. So many tables available, however , they sat us all on the sofa bit ,meaning with all the tables together we was not able to stand and get our food whenever we wanted without disturbing the person sat next to us. My friend spoke to the manager and all the manager said was to not put the tables together so we could easily get in/out. We had no other option to do this! Meaning that we couldn't speak to each others. We were so far away from our friends :-( it was basically eat and go home, we've travelled from Grimsby to be with them to have a meal with them ,to socialize a bit and that did not happen. The children couldn't be sat together either due to this . My friend even asked the manager if we could move to a different table seen as there was so many empty tables. He asked if the other tables right in front of us could be turned ,all he got was a no no no, as due to the room layout etc. Did not offer us a solution at all! I mean it's a BUFFET , who would come with such an idea of sofas? He tried again,explaining how important this dinner was , that he ain't seen his family for a while , or us and still there was not a solution...and that was it , we all had our food whilst sat away from everyone. There was more customers complaining for exact same reason , a group that was split in 2 .... just really bad planning ! We've been customers for so many years, Cosmos is my favourite restaurant. And so we try and come with the children at least twice a month and yesterday with what I've witnessed I think we have all had a change of heart. Really awful! On top of all this ,they've charged my 12 year old son as an adult and my small 4 year old son almost £12. My friend was supposed to have his meal free as it was his birthday and he had his ID on him and also was mentioned when the table was booked and surprise, surprise.... ended up paying for it! Thr manager was rude and definitely not helpful at all! All he wanted was us all sat eating quietly, out money and goodbye! Horrible experience! I feel so bad for my friends...

Poor quality food and a Poor set up since reopening. Seems to be less selection of food as well. Wouldn't be in a hurry to go back.

This place, in my opinion, is the buffet of its kind. You expect buffets that the chips are going to be soggy. The pasta is going to be stuck together. The fork and knives are going to be dirty because of the rush eat style, but here it's not the case. Yes, it's over £20.00 but you are allowed to feast for 90 mins. The choice is gigantic. Sushi witch is over ice for freshness. Roast duck and roast pork with pancakes. more than one choice of pizza. 3 or 4 noodles and pasta dishes . 3 or 4 different curry choices. and much, much more. There is even a chocolate fountain.

Friendly and helpful staff. Generous layout of food. Narrow time restriction (1.5 hours not really enough for talking between helpings). Seating on benches in a large party was awkward. So good food and ambience but not good for a leisurely lunch.

Getting accused of not paying our bill as I'm am disabled and blind I will never come to your restaurant never again and I will tell all of my friends never to go there and the staff and the manger are so bad makers as I had proof of paying my bill and my friend aswell and no apology wat so ever

Lovely food helpful staff like that they cook fresh food in front of you it was a bit packed but we did go at a busy time still all good and well feed.

Although it was crowded when we went, the staff were extremely attentive and polite. Some of the food was a little average, but with so many things to choose from, you can easily find plenty to enjoy, and the ribs were incredible, almond with a number of the noodle and rice dishes. I'd normally go for Indian food over Asian, but the Asian food here was good enough that I barely touched the other types...

I really liked the ambience and food in cosmos..Chinese and starters(prawn) and desserts (walnut brownies)are awesome.. Staff are very friendly in clicking pics,.special mention about kabeeta who was very nice in guiding us as it’s our first time.. We all had great weekend.. thank you 🤩

If you go on your birthday, you get free prosecco or a free meal. Make sure you have proof of your birthday. Was disappointed no duck and pancakes. Toliets are confusing

First time at Cosmo yesterday, did not dissapoint a massive selection to chose from. The only problem I found is that 80% of the desserts had peanut in so its not great if you have an allergy. Other than that all good 😊

You can eat Asian food in the UK. You can eat lunch at a reasonable price. It's a great place for birthday parties.

Very expensive, most food isn't good quality, customers start eating with fingers off their plates in the buffet area, staff is rushing around. Won't return.

It was ok. Just ok. I remember coming here a few years ago and it blew me away. I have been to Cosmo in Edinburgh and I have to say that one is far superior in terms of food options. We had to wait upon arrival which was fine, staff were quick to sort us out. Felt a little rushed to decide on drinks but they arrived quick. Great idea with the bottomless refills. The teppenyaki station wasn't available straight away, we were not made aware of this at any point on the website or in the restaurant so we had to wait until 6pm for that (we booked 5pm - 6.30pm) which was unfortunate as myself and my partner were quite full by that time. The rest of the dishes, some were very poor and some were excellent. Unfortunately the Indian section was very poor. The curries had an unpleasant taste. The lamb in the Rogan josh was very fatty. The chicken in the tikka masala and the chicken tikka seemed slimy. The Hot and Sour soup was also poor. I have been to a few Chinese restaurants and that wasn't as nice as I've had from them. The best dish out of everything was the Char Sui Pork, it was phenomenal absolutely beautiful. I had a plate of just that it was so good. The pizza was nice, despite my partner saying it was awful I found it most enjoyable. The rest of the menu was alright, nothing to write home about, but it wasn't the worst. The desert area was nice however I do wish there was more ice cream available and some berries maybe. The chocolate fountain was very nice. The staff were attentive and frequently came to remove plates, they didn't seem sure though when I asked questions about the teppenyaki opening (someone said it would open soon, another one said it only opened weekends) The atmosphere was fine for me, I enjoyed the music and the big screen showing nice views from around the world. It wasn't too busy because it was opening time which was great for me. Maybe go around 6/6.30 seems an ideal time. I did also encounter an issue with a toilet. One of the men's cubicles had been filled up with toilet paper, the toilet was unusable. I did mention this to a member of staff who said they would tell someone to sort it however I'm unsure if that happened or not. Overall, I'd say this place is good if you're just looking to eat and eat and eat. For £22 (Mon to Fri 5pm+ as of 04/04/24) I would say I definitely had my money's worth in terms of food. Just be careful some of food isn't as good as the others. We've been a few times and it's definitely worth a visit, it's always busy and the food selection is great. They have Chinese, Indian, pizza, roast dinner and kids options. So there s something for everyone 😊

Arrived at 8.30pm. The food which was out was dry, presented awfully, not a lot of choice. Some trays empty and not refilled. Food tasted cold and the curries were terrible. No deserts left but did ask and they brought out a slice of cake. Disappointed as visited quite a few cosmo restaurants around the country but this has got to be the worst buffet I have ever visited for food quality, I witnessed other customers complaining also. The staff were very friendly though and the duty manager although couldn’t give us a refund as we hardly eaten anything was extremely apologetic and helpful. Unfortunately I do sometimes give restaurants the benefit of the doubt and try again but for £22.99 I could definitely think of better restaurants to go to so will never return.

Gone massively down hill. A lot less options than before and a lot more frozen stuff. For example the crispy duck was freshly shredded previously and is now obviously frozen and re heated from pre made bags. A lot more filler foods rather than genuinely food freshly made things. No full sugar coke (a real bugbear of mine) and only 1 drink station. Wouldn’t go again.

Not been for a while , still the same food , in that ,cheap and cheerful, if you come out of here hungry then there is no hope for you It's not the biggest choice ,we went on Tuesday afternoon, but it was all hot and they kept refreshing the serving pans, so was hot For the cash you can't go wrong , Indian,Chinese, pizzas,deluxe,salads ,lots of sweets Looks good decor after the refit

I'm remember that use best cosmo Sheffield before now so change but update place look better but eat go less I'm disappointed I like before go more great food is best sadly 😔
