Really clean, warm and cosy venue with delicious food. The Lamb Newabi Special is gorgeous! It’s a dry restaurant, but you can take your own alcohol if desired. Recommend! 👍

Stayed at Ellerbank cottage in Gawthrop, near Dent and Sedbergh, cottage was excellent with lovely scenery and peace and tranquility.

Beautiful food, lovely atmosphere. What a shame they're moving on but can't wait to experience the new concept next door.

Rang at 430 Sunday to book a table for 6pm, no bother at all. Staff welcoming on arrival. Menu has plenty of choice. The staff weren’t at all pushy when taking our order, or trying to upsell us on anything extra. My daughter & I shared a starter & they were very accommodating, even brought an extra plate with salad garnish for us to split the food. Starters & mains were all delicious, & decent portions. Nice relaxed atmosphere, great food, and bring your own beer/soft drinks. £66 for 4 adults. 3 starters, 4 mains, 1 rice, & a family naan. Will definitely be back.

Popped in for dinner whilst in the area for work. We didn't have a booking but space was available. It was pretty busy for a Tuesday night. Poppadoms and chutneys were served and were good and served quickly along with draught Kingfisher. The main course of Veg Thali was really good. The mix of rice, alloo and saag dishes along with a naan, bhaji and superb chickpea curry made for a very filling meal. The waiters were friendly and service was efficient. They also kindly booked a cab for us to get back to our hotel.

Last minute booking on a Saturday evening. On arrival the restaurant was nicely busy. Staff really helpful. The food was served in good time. All dishes were tasty in more than ample portions. Being able to take your own alcohol is an added bonus. Will definitely be going back again.
