I’ve just been to Harveys at Holmfirth for a late lunch in chose to have the tapas which I must say was absolutely bob on we was lucky enough to be served by a very bubbly and friendly young lady called Tilda I would definitely recommend this bar /kitchen if you are thinking of dining out great food good atmosphere and relaxing music !!!! It’s a 10 from len 👍

I recently visited at Volare, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, the warm and friendly staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The tapas selection was fantastic, with a great variety of fresh and flavourful dishes. Each plate was beautifully presented, and the flavours were spot on. Amazing value for the quality of food and service. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable.

A fantastic place, I really can’t recommend enough. We have tried to book for a while and struggled, eventually we managed 6.15 Friday. Already very busy. Great food - we had focaccia and dips, tomato salad, fried chicken, cod, potatoes. The potatoes very incredible. Wine was eclectic - Japanese, Armenian! I asked to try and they were very receptive and shared their knowledge of the wines. The service is excellent, attentive, friendly - a great place and excellent value for money

It’s a good cafe for a quick bite and coffee, would recommend dropping in for a quick snack. Staff friendly and place was clean

Popped in for a mid-morning coffee during our visit to Holmfirth. The owner was very welcoming and we were soon chatting like old friends. The chef, who came down with a sample of the food for the owner to try, was a lovely character as well. Locals were coming in to eat during our visit and you could tell they were regular customers. It really felt like somewhere you'd be happy to return to again and again.

I was lucky enough to receive a beautiful bouquet bought from Forever Green for my birthday. I can honestly say I have never seen such a gorgeous arrangement of flowers. One week on and they are just as beautiful. The roses have opened up but still look fresh and healthy. It looks as good now as it did when it arrived. Thank you so much - you are a genius to produce something so fabulous!

Fantastic food! I’ve I’ve ever had a nicer pizza I can’t remember it!! The dips are amazing too. Holmfirth is really a great place to eat and drink.

A great traditional pub..homely Jodie and the girls are brilliant the beers are fantastic from traditional beers to lagers and now are serving Peroni. Thai food is being cooked on the premises delicious...plus quiz nights on a Tuesday. Another plus it's a dog friendly pub ...what more would you want...and the locals are accommodating and friendly...if you do not visit you are missing out...

Just had the best ever fish and chips a chip shop curry sauce even better than last time just what I needed. thanks Scott and Sophie

Lovely little cafe and very good service with attention to detail. We ordered sandwiches and coffees. I was very impressed with the quality of the sandwiches. Generously-packed fillings for both the tuna and the cheese sandwiches. Will definitely be back in the near future. x

We have drove past this place many times and always said we would give it a try - today was the day! We were pleased to see that they have an upstairs area with additional seating which was useful as seating is limited in the main part of the deli. I ordered the chicken pesto melt and my partner ordered the halloumi, harissa and hot honey sandwich with a side of crispy potatoes. We also ordered a vanilla latte and a vanilla iced latte. Both the food and drinks were very tasty and plentiful. The sandwiches arrived toasted with crisps on the side which was a nice addition. We found the menu to include a varied choice of options which swayed away from the generic cafe sandwiches which is always good to see. We will certainly return as the food was good quality and a reasonable price.

Delayed visit for the Thursday Steak Night - sadly discontinued. Ambience at ground floor is open and friendly with options for group sizes. Service friendly and attentive. Food was fine, wine was expensive.

Tasty full English , really well presented in a tiny little cafe , don’t miss it it’s a gem , lovelly and clean and great friendly staff
