Fantastic food! I’ve I’ve ever had a nicer pizza I can’t remember it!! The dips are amazing too. Holmfirth is really a great place to eat and drink.

Came here for the first time, lovely place great atmosphere for a casual tea with friends. Staff great and welcoming , I will defiantly be coming back or getting a take away it’s the BEST pizza I have ever tasted .

3 generations visited for my husband’s birthday. The menu is not extensive, but the restaurant was more than happy to serve two of us starters as a main course. We both chose the aubergine parmigiana, which was so good, alongside the walnut, blue cheese and pear salad, which was fresh and tasty. My teens very much enjoyed their pizzas, then we were all too full for pudding, but I was pleased to see they serve ice cream from Lick over the road. We had a basket of the sourdough bread made in house as a stater and it was so good! This is also used for the pizza bases. The restaurant has an open kitchen, which is always interesting to watch.

We are so lucky to have So Dough on our doorstep. The pizzas are always amazing … especially the special ‘The Italian Stallion’. Great wine too! Thanks to the team for always making us feel so welcome. Will see you soon!

OK so just before Christmas I tried to get a table but the demand was crazy so waited till last week to try. As soon as we walked in late on a Sunday the front of house could not has been more friendly loads of empty tables and no wait. We decided to go half and half so one tomato pizza and one pepperoni. Super quick arrival and again the staff serving were very attentive and professional but the main event the pizzas were very disappointing they looked great if a little small but it was the lack of taste that hit both of us,even with the pepperoni on it lacked seasoning. Super disappointing considering how much hype. Maybe it was an oversight and maybe we should have said something but that's the British in us. Not going to rush back when we can go to Anellos.

My new favourite place to eat in Holmfirth! The combination of the friendly staff, the open plan layout and the playlist creates a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The food is really tasty and reasonably priced. There are great options for vegans, which is much appreciated! Local beer and ice cream on the menu is a nice touch. Can't wait to come back soon!

The food is of a high standard. Good selection of pizza’s and the starters were good also. The cheesecake was very nice. A broad selection or drinks.

Fabulous food and service. We had the famous arancini and a pizza and all the group thoroughly enjoyed them. It was a bit loud for some of our ND group. Might have to take ear defenders next time.

Called in early one Saturday afternoon. New place in Holmfirth. My wife and I ordered a pizza each and a bottle of white wine. Lots of staff, all very friendly. My pizza was slightly undercooked on the base hence the 4 stars. Maybe the oven hadn’t had chance to truly heat up? Anyhow, a welcome addition to Holmfirth, we would return.

Really delicious food, we shared some sides and a couple of pizzas and it was all outstanding! Shoutout to Aidan who provided excellent service and made sure we had everything we needed! Really made our Mother’s Day and will definitely be returning!

Visited on a Sunday evening, I’m not going to labour the point service and food were fantastic, probably the best pizza I’ve had.

Not what we we were expecting, very basic interior, seating not ideal for couples. Felt like a take away/cafe . Tables felt sticky/not clean. Although pizzas were good they were not exceptional and we have had better locally. Service charge added to your bill, although they don’t tell you this is optional. Service charges should be up to customers discretion dependent on the type of service and food delivered on the day. No staff asked us how the food was once we had been served or even when we paid the bill. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend So Dough to friends and family based on our visit.

Service very slow and lethargic. Pizzas average for wood fired. Watch out for the hidden 10% service charge added to your bill. Certainly not worth it. Very disappointing and will not be returning.

Fresh delightful food and excellent service at a great price. Dogs welcome. Third visit now and quality is consistently high.

Great addition to Holmfirth. Been 4 times now - with family, friends & work colleagues, and it’s been excellent each time. Really like the selection of toppings, thin base & grab a dip to go with it. Menu not overly fussy - keep it simple & do it well and they do. Staff are great, helpful & attentive.

We came here on a stormy night in January. Great service and fabulous pizzas. Reasonably priced as well. No frills but you don’t need that when the food and service is as good. Will definitely return.
