The Coffee Lounge - Lindley in Kirklees

We liked it so much we went back next day! Great food, friendly service, popular place to eat. Nice range of menu options and well priced good value.

Met a friend for a coffee . Super staff , lovely surroundings , amazing food , great coffee. Didn’t realise they had such a great menu . Looked after me with my food intolerances .

First time visit to The Coffee Lounge - we were in the area for a hospital appointment so popped in for some food and drink. The service was excellent from the second we stepped through the door. The menu was varied and the food we had was delicious. I noticed they do an interesting veggie afternoon tea menu so I’m planning to return to try that! Highly recommend this fab cafe!

Stumbled across this coffeeshop on a walk around the Lindley area today. The staff were very attentive and polite and it was interesting to see a menu with a unique touch. My partner ordered the onion bhaji sandwich and I went for the margarita panini. It was great to have a different choice than the usual panini/ sandwich options in most coffeeshops. The price was very reasonable too. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area/ looking for a spot of breakfast, brunch or lunch.

We go every week! We go as a family but it's a lovely place to meet friends for a catch up. Upstairs a d down stairs seating. It's a shame it's not disabled friendly as I would to bring my Mum for afternoon team. We absolutely love the food and the service is fantastic.

Came across this little gem by accident on a recent trip to Huddersfield. I like nice food and find that it is increasingly hard to get. This is a nice cosy tastefully decorated establishment. The staff are very effecient and friendly. Best of all, the food that my wife and I had was delicious. Great food at a sensible price, what's not to like. We'll be coming back when next in the area.

Ordered online a variety of sandwiches and salads for nine people for collection. Placed and paid for the order about a week in advance and it was very straightforward. The order was ready and waiting when I got there all nicely packaged up. The staff were very friendly. The food was excellent quality and there was lots of it. Very tasty and extremely good value for money. Will definitely order from here again.

Visited today with our 2.5yr old. Service was really good and attentive, friendly, happy staff. Food and was really nice and arrived in good time. My partner had eggs Benedict and he said the eggs were cooked perfect and were really big, he was impressed with the portion size and price. For me it the coffee was beautiful and the hot chocolate for my little one arrived with extra milk to cool it down if needed. Will definitely be visiting often and so glad it’s dog friendly so can take the pooch next time.

I work nearby and so have come here on several occasions for breakfast and lunch. Every time, the food has been lovely and the staff have been kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend coming here if you are in the area as there is a great menu and the atmosphere is very welcoming!

We visited the coffee lounge as we were passing through Huddersfield and needed somewhere for breakfast. The reviews on here were very good and I can confirm the place is truly lovely. The staff are beyond helpful, welcoming and the place looks gorgeous. The food and hot drinks were great too. I had a chai latte which was perfect, and The Mighty Vegetarian breakfast. Everything was just what we needed. I'm sad we live so far away or this would definitely become a regular haunt

Stopped over after a walk in the morning with the Mrs. We had a great breakfast and we were really impressed by the overall service. Great atmosphere, nice decor. Can get busy and place feels a little small then.

I've just enjoyed a sumptuous afternoon tea with 6 good buddies - what a truly delightful way to spend an afternoon: delicious food, excellent company and all in convivial surroundings. The staff were cheerful and so helpful - they also wanted us to enjoy the experience. The sandwiches were soft, so fresh and generously filled with a good variety of fillings. The pastries were crisp and light and oh what a delicious selection of "naughty but nice" treats! What's not to like about afternoon tea at the Coffee Lounge - Lindley? Just been to The Coffee Lounge for afternoon tea this afternoon. It was absolutely fantastic. The table was groaning with the individual double platter. Sandwiches, sausage rolls, pork pie, chutney for starters then on to the cake selection.with the scone and cream there was a selection of at least 5 other cakes and sweet treats. Well worth the money. Absolutely fantastic afternoon tea. Oh and the staff are great. Will definitely be going again , oh and the staff were great. Will definitely be going again.

I’ve been to The Coffee Lounge a few times now & am never disappointed. The staff are friendly, quick service & the food is delicious. Their menu has some great options & is reasonably priced. This is definitely my favourite spot for brunch & it’s very hard not to pick up a cake on the way out!
