Been quiet a few times over the years. Food was good recently, however we got extras on our bill. So suggest you get a bill and check it before you pay.

Brilliant food and service noisy on night spoilt evening a bit

Oh wow! So nice and tasty, just really good flavours. Had chicken biryani and garlic chilli chicken. We ordered the takeaway to Morley and it was delivered hot, within half an hour and just probably the best takeaway curry we've ever had! Can't wait to dine in!

Warm welcome, nice decor, classy tableware etc, friendly staff, vibrant atmos (prob due to the byob!) Delish food, piping hot & a good variety. Sundries were top tier. Poppadoms, pickle tray, naan, chapati, salad side plate -- all the little things like that were great and they can often make or break it for a dining experience. Will definitely be back soon!

Usually order takeaway from here. We will dine in eventually! The food is very very good. I haven’t found a better curry place in the area yet! Always arrives hot and on time and the menu selection is amazing. I’m a boring Korma girl but there are a few dishes on the menu that I will be trying.

Just when I think they can’t get better they do the meal tonight was superb!

I’ve known Abdul for some time now and been to the bangla number of times. This time I’ve taken family for my wife’s 40th and can say that Abdul and his staff did us proud! His service was on point and the food out of this world! Thankyou mate see you next time. It’s a ten from len!!

Probably nicest Indian I have had in a while , very very nice would highly recommend, never been in always order out but very quick delivery , reasonable price and a very large selection of dishes , always happy to accommodate e.g. we get just korma sauce as like a side and it's no issue , portion sizes are good and meat is nice.

Travelled up from Birmingham (the home of the Balti) to have a night with the family. We had a wonderful meal from poppadoms to starters to main! All 4 of us had different dishes off the menu and everyone was so flavoursome. Abdul was very accommodating and made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere had a real buzz, and the price will definitely bring us back!! Birmingham has a Bangladeshi rival! Thank you Abdul and team Gerry

Went here for a birthday recently. The service was brilliant and the food was incredible. Its only small so would recommend booking to avoid disappointment. Its also unlicensed, so you can bring your own alcohol which keeps the price down! Can't wait to go back!

The owner and his staff could not have made us feel more welcome. Their professionalism and work efficiency was outstanding. The restaurant had a beautiful décor and the ambiance made it. The food was the best I have had in a long time and I will return and use their takeaway facilities. It could not be any better all round. Anybody coming to Bangla will not be disappointed. The only reason for the three stars is the length of time we had to wait from our starter to our main course. We eventually got our main after about 50 mins but that was after complaining about the delay. The restaurant was very nice and the food was excellent. Shame they had not got the staffing correct to cater for their customers in a timely manor.

Food was delivered on time but was in the bin within 5 minutes of delivery. Ordered a Chicken Tikka Keema Masala and a Meat Madras as mains. The Chicken appeared to have been cooked several times as it was like leather, and if the sauce had been any thicker I would have needed a knife to cut it. Absolutely disgusting 🤬

My son and I have just returned from having an amazing meal here tonight. My son ate the chicken tikka masala and he said it was the best sauce he'd ever tasted, I had the minted lamb bhuna and the lamb was incredibly tender. The staff were polite, friendly and very attentive. A thoroughly enjoyable and well priced meal, we'll definitely be returning 😊

1st timers last night....will be back! We absolutely loved the food from here. Definitely recommend the Thali - 3 great quality curries and good sized portions. Ordered for collection, peak time Saturday night with no hassles at all.

Has been my favourite curry house since I first tried it a few years back, friendly staff and gorgeous food, always my first choice!

Spicy chicken tikka starter was immense. Butter Chicken was tasty and a generous helping. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Staff efficient and professional, everything you want for a meal out. Popular even during the week so always a good atmosphere. After trying so called authentic curry houses on Great Horton Road, they can’t hold a candle to the Bangla Lounge. Can’t fault anything and we will be back!

Great place to eat and the staff are very friendly. We enjoyed the meal here as the staff were great at catering for my boyfriend who is vegan.

Absolutely gorgeous food! Me and the other half went after the refurb and ordered a contemporary dish - venison for me and Fish for him. So much flavour and great service as always. Masks and sanitizer used bybthe waiters...Only thing we both commented on was a lack of music/atmosphere but no way can we fault the food or the service. Highly recommended.

Food delivery for our annual Christmas party at home was first class. We had the hot plates delivered to serve it in earlier in the day with a lovely helpful and polite driver and then the food came promptly and was delicious. Everyone commented on how much choice and how excellent it was.Thankyou so much Abdul and team -it was absolutely gorgeous!

A member of staff took over 10 minutes to get me a drink of coke. A different member of staff asked me if he could clear the table (party of 18) before getting my coffee. I said no and he looked shocked. Food was lovely, Service on this occasion appeared to be lacking in my opinion.

Delicious food, it is a small place so it may be advisable to book. It doesn't have a drink licence so if you need alcohol you have to take it with you. Soft drinks are available.
