Really clean, warm and cosy venue with delicious food. The Lamb Newabi Special is gorgeous! It’s a dry restaurant, but you can take your own alcohol if desired. Recommend! 👍

I like this place very much. Everything is good. The only thing is that the wind blows loudly in December. You need to keep warm...it's super cold.

Amazing food btw Ordered a surprise bag only to be notified of cancellation while driving home . Contacted the store to find out what happened only to be told bags still available now got to wait 2 weeks for my money back!!!! NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!!!

This place is truly authentic Indian food. So much choice, you choose the temperature with help on the menu the more peppers showing the hotter it gets. But it was so tasty, get yourself a big nan hanging on the pole, early bird saves about £4! By cash. Niece ambience, lovely friendly staff. Try it once, go back many times!!

Food ordered for takeaway collection, everything was ready on time, food still hot when arrived home, food quality and quantity earned praise from all four diners. Slight discrepancy in order/supply - the lemon rice became almond rice and Bombay aloo large became small. Not a problem for us but someone with a nut allergy could have been in difficulty.

`We had the Bengal Railway Special, it was gorgeous, and the the chicken Bengal Balti, the best by far in Holmfirth. Staff really pleasant and efficient.

Popped in for dinner whilst in the area for work. We didn't have a booking but space was available. It was pretty busy for a Tuesday night. Poppadoms and chutneys were served and were good and served quickly along with draught Kingfisher. The main course of Veg Thali was really good. The mix of rice, alloo and saag dishes along with a naan, bhaji and superb chickpea curry made for a very filling meal. The waiters were friendly and service was efficient. They also kindly booked a cab for us to get back to our hotel.

Food is always good, place is spotlessly clean and waitress and chefs are great. Definitely a ‘go to’ place and the fact that it’s the same staff when we have been before we know it’s going to be good.

An excellent meal for my 75th birthday. Great service and a birthday cake. That was wonderfully unexpected! I can thoroughly recommend the restaurant.
