The best restaurants serving Asian food in West Midlands

Just spent another long weekend in ellesmere and I had a curry from here friday and sunday nights. The food has been given my highest rating as both nights the food was excellent. The sunday I had chicken tikka Nepal pilau rice it was outstanding and packed with chicken tikka he even gave me extra onion bhajis for free with a peshwari naan. My missus loves the chicken chaat too. Anyway I recommend if you like indian food.

First time here and the service, food and cocktails were amazing! I had Golden Moneybags and Sticky Chicken and they were delicious. I would definitely go again but possibly for lunch as it was a little too noisy for me.

Got a takeaway. For £16 we had curry, rice, naan and a side. The 25% off collection deal is great value. The food was hot and fresh, and I particularly liked the Bombay aloo. The peshwari naan was really good too and there was plenty of chicken in the curry.

Lovely restaurant, great food, service ambience. Staff provide excellent friendly service. Thoroughly recommend, excellent.....

All the food was so fresh and tasty , service was amazing. Came with my niece and her partner, they absolutely enjoyed it. Will definitely be returning for food again.

I found out that our starters were cooked the previous day having found them inedible. Incredible. And the employee seemed happy to give me that information deeming it acceptable. Never again. Poppadoms were like rubber. Shame as it was a bastion in Lye’s curry belt. Resting on its laurels big time…

Dil Bar Birmingham Restaurante cerrado 962185585 Se hizo una reserva y se confirmó a través de Dojo y por correo electrónico desde el restaurante el 17 de junio de 2024 para una mesa de 8 el viernes 26 de julio de 2024 a las 8 pm - A la llegada a Birmingham me llamó para reconfirmar la reserva y me encontré con el restaurante estaba cerrado por renovación - el caballero en el teléfono dijo que no puede tener una reserva que estamos cerrados. Cuando dije que tenía una confirmación, el teléfono fue puesto ¿Podría alguien no habernos llamado para decirnos que estaban cerrados para que pudiéramos encontrar un lugar alternativo que no es fácil para 8 personas un viernes por la noche en Birmingham Atención al cliente terrible. En futuros viajes a Birmingham fue evitar este restaurante. Tenga cuidado si hace una reserva

Ordered Mixed Vegetable Madras for takeaway. it was just mush! The only vegetables I could identify were a couple of stips of onion.

A difficult review to write as I have really rated this place. .I have been vegetarian for 30 years and never eaten any meat. I ordered a vegetarian yuk sung by phone and they repeated the order back to me . I ate over half and thought there was vegetarian meat in it which I was pleased about as it wasn't like usual yuk sung with crispy noddles etc . I suddenly felt like maybe I should check .. as it had a slight chicken taste ( vegetarian meat is so good now , it’s hard to know). I called them and they said no there were only vegetable in it .. I told them categorically that there was meat In it. They came back to check and the lady was quite snappy and said I had ate the curry . My husband had had the curry ( with chicken it) and this was not curry . She slapped £7 in my hands and walked off … no apology. I spent alll the night feeling extremely sick. It is a shame as to be honest I have always enjoyed this place in the place, non greasy, nice flavours

Second order and I have to say the service here is great. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. They will make something on request and advise to help you choose. The food is always delightful and speedy too. Definitely our new preferred Chinese. :-)

Absolutely superb food and fantastic value for money. The red curry was amazing, as was the chicken satay. Pad Thai very good.

The very best and most delicious Chinese food in Hereford. Lots of choices. Something for everyone. Tasty, always fresh, good portion sizes.

Very poor no atmosphere prebooked table fo 4 but upon arrival the table wasn't set even though we were the only booking they had. Service was extremely poor every drink asked for not available giving excuse that it very quiet at the moment so no draft beers then only 3 bottles of Thai beers available. Felt as if the staff didn't want to be there the man complaining about staff shortage and having to do deliveries himself each time he came back into the restaurant he was complaining which made it even worse. Food expensive for what you got both red and green chicken Thai curry bulked out with cheap vegetables and poor quality. Would not recommend and will not be returning. This place is a takeaway not a restaurant and I personally would not even have a takeaway from there from what I saw the takeaways were sitting in bags for quite a while before being taken out for delivery so most likely be cold by the time you get it.
