Visited on a Thursday night. I have tried to book a Friday for weeks but they were always fully booked. Food was really good, interesting options most of which were new to us. Menu took a while read read and digest but with the help of our knowledgeable and enthusiastic server we all chose some thing different. We shared two starters and some bread which was tasty but it filled me up way too quickly. 4 different mains, all of which came with deliciously cooked rice. My mate said his choice was the best meal he’s had in a long while. I had meatballs in a spicy ( not very hot chilli spicy ) sauce that was interesting, tasty and very filling. I brought one huge meatball home with me in a box. Service was excellent, environment was very much to our liking. Mellow and relaxed. Food excellent. Service excellent. Criticisms? Ok, well Tap water was served in a carafe but it was like warm and worst of all, We only found out when it was time to pay, they don’t accept plastic, it’s either cash or bank transfer which we weren’t comfortable about. The meal including drinks came to about £30 a head. Give it a try, but book in advance and take cash.

Nice little restaurant tucked in Bristol's St. Nicholas area, and a good beginner's foray into Korean food. Staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful, which is a real plus of any restaurant. We ordered Korean style boneless fried chicken (tasty garlic and honey flavour and our top favourite), very tender pork belly slices with gochugang sauce (our second favourite) and crispy edamame spring roll (great texture and size), along with a bowl of steamed rice. A side order of kimchi (the most authentic of all the dishes we"ve tried) rounded it all up well. Overall, a good meal and everything was freshly cooked and piping hot when served. What could be improved: Maybe give diners a feel of a true Korean dining experience by adding those tiny appetisers and side dishes (radish kimchi, pickled vegetables, etc) and a proper set of Korean metal chopsticks and long-handle spoons.

The food would have been very good like it always has been in restaurant but spoiled by the Just Eat courier.. as arrived very late, rude attitude and the food was crushed like it had been dropped or stood on or both… inedible. Recommend you order directly from the restaurant… they were as helpful as they could be with our problem… telling us to contact Just Eat to get a refund.. except it is really hard to contact them so can only message… took 4 days to tell us our order had arrived because code had been given… umm not the problem?!… and refund of inedible food was dismissed. Contacted them again and told quickly this time our complaint was still dismissed. Customer service as bad as couriers! Don’t use Just Eat!! Do use the restaurant!
