The best restaurants serving Asian food in Bristol, City of South West

Excellent and tasty food with a good selection of vegetarian options. However, the service was extremely slow (because they were clearly understaffed), so in total we were at the restaurant for 3 hours and had to ask twice for the bill.

Everything about this place is a YES. Incredible service from the moment we sat down and incredible food. A big thank you especially to Annie, a wonderful server who just made it feel like we were there for a chat. The head chef was also lovely when I thanked him for the meal. Your team is wonderful Nadu - don’t change a thing!

We had a great experience here on Saturday night. The restaurant atmosphere was lovely! The food was absolutely perfect! Having travelled to Bristol especially to eat at The Kandyan I can say it was well worth the travel effort and we'll be visiting again soon for sure.

The food was good, but not as good as I'd hoped. Also a bit slow. But still enjoyed the evening.

The place is very small so you have to make a reservation before going and it is usually full, so either go early or book a little in advance. the delicious food. We started with the bokman salad which is a little spicy, the rice (I thought I wasn't going to like the kimchi and I loved it) with pork. They serve it to you in a stone bowl to keep it warm during the meal. We finish with the beef stew. the waitress who served us was super nice

It is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the UK! Very generous portions and high quality food. You may find the place quite tight as there are too many tables for the size of the restaurant but overall it is a great place. Definitely recommend it.

Celebré el cumpleaños de mis maridos con amigos anoche. El servicio fue excepcional como siempre y la comida era excelente. Porciones de gran tamaño, pero recomendaría compartir el Bhaji de cebolla. Dos enormes Cebollas Bhaji era demasiado para mí. El pollo tikka con ensalada era excelente. Gracias por la Sambuca Llama y por todos los que cantan Feliz Cumpleaños. Si no has visitado este restaurante te sugiero que lo hagas. Espero volver a verte pronto.

Definitely my go to place when I can’t be bothered to cook and fancy a take away. The food is super fresh and tasty and perfectly cooked.

Good quality meat and flavours, Second time I have placed order and will definitely come back for more. Would highly recommend.

Food and atmosphere was excellent - service could have been better though to be honest. We had to remind staff to bring us things a few times (e.g didn’t give us enough plates) and also had to prompt them about allergens a couple times. I didn’t have this problem with the other The Coconut Tree on Gloucester Rd.

Portion size is appalling! Prices are high very little portions

The naan was pretty much empty and the corma tasted like nothing really blunt

Curry was very bland, had minimal taste to it and the naan bread was very burnt
