The best restaurants serving Asian food in South East

I popped in for a quick curry, had poppadums with a pint, then a chicken tikka jalfrezi with daal and a naan, with another pint. All good apart from one point: no chicken in the jalfrezi.

The service was brilliant. All staff were so professional and friendly. The food was beautiful and great value for money. We would definitely come back to East Grinstead just to eat here.

Yet again great food with requests for alterations done perfectly. Also items not on the menu made to order. Bring your a bottle just adds to the experience. Great value for money.

Good old fashioned Indian. Service polite and efficient. Dishes served appetizing and generous portions!

I've only ever had takeout from this restaurant (due to Covid restrictions on indoor seating) but the quality of their food is terrific. 2024: Editing this review to add that I've had the dine-in experience here now as well, and the service and presentation were both excellent.

Zari is a fantastic restaurant, we visit when we are in Crawley and love the authentic menu, attentive staff and clean, modern restaurant. This visit we enjoyed poppadoms and chutney tray, Laal Maas Lamb curry, Pilau rice and Sag Aloo / Brinjal Bhaji accompaniments. All delicious, we will be back !

At Monsoon this evening, the team truly redefined what service means in a dining experience. It’s rare these days to find such a genuine sense of hospitality, and it was quite refreshing. The staff worked seamlessly together, creating an inviting atmosphere where you could tell they genuinely cared about making every guest feel special. Abu, who looked after us throughout the night, made us feel like more than just customers—by the end of the evening, he felt like a friend. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the menu were impressive, and his recommendations were spot on. You could see how much pride he took in presenting the dishes, a sign of a restaurant that truly values its own food and its customers too. The food arrived quickly, hot and delicious, reflecting the precision and coordination of a well-oiled team. The quality of the dishes was exceptional, making it clear that this is a place worth returning to. It’s been one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in quite some time, and we’ll definitely be back.

Lovely restaurant, the food was delicious. Ordered so much as we wanted to try everything. Trying to organise going back with friends so we can try the rest of the menu as it was so tasty. The staff were very polite and happy. I was surprised it has been in Brighton for 5 years and I had never heard of it so they should definitely advertise more! Would highly recommend!

I went to Namaste Kitchen for the first time after being in Reading for a long time , it was recommended to me by my friend . I was not disappointed, the bar tender was a lovely person and the food was amazing. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who likes a cheap pint of beer and Good 🇳🇵 Nepalese food , spicy 🌶️ one . We tried the Momos which was good and Noodles 🍜. I would always recommend this place as I am a taxi driver and I meet lot of customers who like to visit nice places . Do visit this place I highly recommend. Service is very slow , When we enter only 2 tables are full then we order our food but we wait till 45-50 mins but food is not ready In my career this is very slowest service ever .
