We first visited this restaurant when it first opened. The soft shell was always the highlight. Returned this week as we are back in Faversham for a wedding. The food is still great. The service was warm, informed and super friendly. Great value for money. Soft shell crab is still a stunner.

Food was good but order incorrect, with plain naans sent instead of peshwari. So we got the cheaper inferior version, while paying for peshwaris. Minor complaint but annoying nonetheless.

Sauces very water and unpleasant. Almost as if they forgot the cream in the butter chicken. Not nice. Rice was flooded with water from the sauce

Disappointed overall. Haven't been here for ages as it's not my usual. Very quiet Monday night and we had to wait 45 mins for the main meals which were fairly bland. Another restaurant that seems to have gone down the route of using formed/pumped up chicken which I suppose is cheaper. There seems to be a trend now of many restaurants are on a race to the bottom in terms of food quality which is sad and puts you off going out to eat

The food is fantastic, the people are great. What’s not to love! The driver who delivered our food this evening even complimented our front garden, how lovely! Ordered from here plenty of times and hopefully many more to come.

Tonight was our second time visiting this wonderful restaurant. The staff are attentative, professional and provide excellent service from the moment they greet you at the door until you leave. The food is delicious, provided in a timely manner and always excellent quality. I would have no issue recommending this restaurant to family and friends and we look forward to visiting again soon.

Absolutely Sensational! No other words needed to describe. Staff are attentive, food is absolutely the best Indian Food I have ever tasted. We drive past about half a Dozen other Indian Resturant's to Dine here because we Love it so much. Hot Tip, try the Nadan Kursi Curry. You won't be disappointed.

We dined in banquet night, excellent value, food was delicious. I ordered the wrong main for my son, the staff replaced the incorrect dish quickly and didn’t charge extra. Incredibly grateful as it made my son happy. Definitely will be going again.

I had a very average and dull takeaway from this restaurant. I had a King Prawn Bhuna, samosa, rice and my daughter had a lamb Korma. My dish lacked any flavour or kick. Bland, boring, basic. Also, the prawns were overcooked, crumbly. It was not very hot, so I had to reheat it in the microwave. My daughter said her lamb korma was very nice. The rice was a strange grey colour, not the fresh vibrant yellow you associate with pilau rice. No cardamom seeds, either. Vegetable Samosa with extremely greasy and small. From the reviews, I think that the restaurant clientele seem to come first. It was just incredibly average, and I won’t be ordering again.

Tried this place as I couldn't get a table at my usual Indian restaurant. Nice people, but food not great. Lemon rice was wet and sweet and £4.95 for a small bowl. Mutar paneer was bland. Cardamom chicken was tough and sickly. Peshwari naan was dry and tough. My lamb dish was very nice. Soft lamb with lots of flavour. Cobra beer only in bottles. But at least cold. Not great food and not good value. I'll not return here.

I’m going to recommend this place to other people as it is perfect for any one . Every staff member here is just amazing. There is nothing more they could do to be better towards customers . Had an amazing meal last last. My partner is a chef and so is hard to pleased. He said it was perfect. The onion bhaji was the best I’ve ever had and a massive portion size. I couldn’t decide what to have as a main and the waiter recommended a dish. It was so nice. What a great choice. We were treated so well. Was a great night.

Lovely meal, had the Thursday night banquet. To be honest we could have shared one between the two of us. Non greasy very tasty, my main was a little spicy- chilli but the effect did not last long. Well presented, piping hot food, attentive service. Place very clean. Very good value. Will go again.

Always arrives piping hot and so flavourful

Excellent, friendly service and delicious food. The Spice lounge offer a great selection of dishes, and on Monday and Thursday evenings, they boast an impressive banquet night, with the choice of starter, main course plus 2 sides for just under £15 pp. I can recommend the rose wine at £19ish a bottle. The place is impressively clean and tidy, and for special occasions, there's a private dining room that would comfortably seat 12. Easily 5 stars for value for money. Will be back.

Quality curry, with quite a few dishes that are twists on the usual favorites.. it's a little bit expensive but worth the small extra cost. Nice environment and prompt service. I've been probably 15 to 20 times with my family and it has never disappointed..

Order showed delivered for over 15 minutes but no where in sight, finally turned up half was stone cold like it had been left outside and very watery. £9 goodwill refund but doesn’t even cover the amount of food that was inedible and wasted will order from elsewhere in future

My order was showing as being delivered for 15minutes, when it hadn't arrived. I called restaurant to enquire. They told me it was out for delivery and would be 5minutes. 20minutes later I called back, the chap on the phone asked the staff where my order was and I heard the staff reply "oh it's still here", the man returned to the phone and told me it was out for delivery and almost there. I then told him I heard and I don't appreciate being lied to. Food turned up 10minutes later...cold.

Didn't take pictures as enjoying the company of friends - we have had curry evenings regularly for a number of years - some more than others but have been trying our hardest of late - going on rota of location and venue we ended up here tonight and have to say everyone felt it was the best curry we have had in a number of years/visits - we are going to stick with our rota but well deserving of 5 stars, looking forward to our next visit and as long as visits to the toilet don't go up exponentially over the next few hours this is well worthy of the 5 stat review.

I tried the Naan Kursi Curry here yesterday evening and it was absolutely fantastic. I hope we can come back soon so I can try the rest of the menu because it all sounded so delicious. The other three people I was with all enjoyed their food too and the staff and atmosphere were great. Well worth a visit.

My curry was cold and so was the rice and naan bread. Shame because I love eating from spice lounge.

Ordered a takeaway it was delivered within the hour as I was told, but very disappointed pilau rice not cooked also the onion bhaji was raw, chicken madras was nice as was the Dhansak, gave it a go, but won't order again, sorry.

Came for the banquet menu and what a banquet it was!! The quality and quantity of food was incredible, such great value for money. We was served my Miro (sorry if I misspelled it) he was very attentive and so was all the other staff members. A great place for a weekday treat :)

Missing bread on order and chicken dansak was diced tufu. No taste.

Best Indian restaurant in the area, if not the best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten at. Food never dissapoints and staff are very friendly and helpful. Very much our go-to for a great dinner out. Banquet night menu is a bargain for the quality.

My chicken had bone in it, my order was missing an item and just eat wouldn't refund me. Absolutely will not be ordering from here again or using just eat again.

food superb quality', but delivery was an hour longer than estimated time, and this has happened twice lately....shame, because it is putting us off of reordering in the future.

It was the first time l have ordered a delivery from Spice Lounge. it arrived well inside the advised time and l can also honestly say the best Lamb Tikka Pathia l have had in years. I was also impressed with their more than adequate kind attention to my additional noted request for small amendments to my order. Will definitely order from here again. Would recommend 👌👍

Quite possibly the best curry I’ve ever had!!!! Working in the area and not up for hotel food, ordered on line, delivered promptly piping hot and a cold beer too! The curry was delicious and clean (no oil). The lemon rice with cashew nuts was also delicious along with the peshwari naan. I just wished I lived in Faversham as I be a regular customer. Definitely recommend for a great curry!

I’ve just eaten the most delicious butter chicken and Bombay aloo EVER in my life. So tasty, even my children loved it. 10/10

Meal was mediocre. I live the Spice Lounge food in the restaurant but the biriani was bland and tasted of perfume??! The lamb however was excellent, the samosa's could have been cooked a little longer.

Always great and grateful that they deliver to our tiny hamlet. Always want to tip the delivery drivers (who are brilliant!), but never have any cash! Great restaurant and service.

Genuinely one of the best Indian takeaway places in Kent. I cannot finish everything because I get so full, the quality of each dish is amazing. The house wine is really good too must admit, not a big fan of red wine, but theirs is quite nice.

normally have great service from here but I'm annoyed to say I've ordered tonight they have happily taken my money no food has arrived the restaurant is not picking up the phone and no refund has been issued. yet they say enjoy your food!! what food?

Ventured here for the first time for my ladies birthday treat..!! and will not be returning. We was not famished so just hit a main course each with rice, pila and a basmati rice...they where exactly the same..NO difference even after questioning it the reply was " that is how they are"..Thank you. Half way through our meal a waiter decided to come to the table and pick up my Cobra bottle and decided I should empty MY bottle into the glass, I asked what he was doing..." you need more " and walked away with the empty bottle. Really..!! My lady had finished her Korma which she said was rather nice..!! well done...shame though you chicken Rogan Josh was dry, bland, watery sat on my plate, really did not help just because my lady had finished her meal...I was still trying to eat this inedible gunk you decided to come clear her plates away...that was the final straw. A big waste of £53.00 for 2 meals. cheers.
