The Bengal Spice is the best Curry House in Sittingbourne. I have eaten in many Curry Houses. They offer a corkage charge of £3 to bring your on alcohol the Curry House to drink. The staff are fantastic providing an excellent service to customers. Every time never a bad curry. I bring My friends here for the Banquet Nights on the Weds & Sunday which is £17.99 a head. Highly, highly recommended, never a bad experience.

I Have Just Eaten at the Bengal Spice Again, this was my 5th time of eating in this very Pleasant Restaurant. The Food is Consistenly Delicious, Hot And Well Cooked and Presented, being Freshly Cooked. The Service is second to none and very quick. The Atmosphere is Pleasingly Relaxed and Comfortable. I Heartily Recommend The Bengal Spice Sittingbourne to Anybody Seeking A Delicious Indian Meal At Competitive Prices. I Only Give 5 Stars Because I Cannot Give 6 Stars.

We have been using Bengal Spice for many years and it is a favourite with all the family. We have had many events from big birthdays, celebrations, hired the restaurant for hen and stag do's! Food is always top notch!

Perfect curry every single time

We ordered a takeaway from here for the first time tonight. Food was ready when we collected and piping hot. Poppadoms were crisp and salad was fresh. All the dishes we chose were tasty and delicious. The lamb curry in particular was generous and was like sliced lamb steak. Would definitely order from here again and would highly recommend.

Went last week before the New Year and excellent service. Food was hot, full of flavour and plenty on the plate. Great that you can take your own drinks and something that has been in place for a few. We have been many times and never disappointed.

Shameful service, had only just finished main course, and they gave us the bill. We wanted coffees, when I complained they replied we have people waiting. Money grabing, over service. And you have to take your own alcohol. Been going there for years. Never again.

It was pretty good. The butter chicken was really runny and really coconuty which was a shame.

I went with my partner last night, cant wait to go back. Food was excellent, staff were friendly and polite. My partner is vegetarian and had the vegetable bhuna which she says was extremely tasty. I had blue elephant on parade. Got to be 1 of my favourite curry dishes. I would definitely recommend it

Abysmal , save your money , there are better curry houses in the High St or at least avoid the chicken tikka masala as it has the appearance of carrot curry and a sauce made from melted marshmallows , the worse curry I have ever had plus there is no bar you have to go to the offy I'm hoping for the owner that this was a one off

Abysmal , service was slow , not many customers in The Chicken Tikka Massala was abysmal , I eaten curry for thirty odd years , this was by far the worst I have ever eaten it resembled diced carrots , the chicken was dry and over cooked the sauce was pathetic , it had all the taste and consistancy of a sugary gravy , it wasn't fresh in taste or appearance , save your money there are better curry places in the high street .

Food was great. Unfortunately I misinterpreted what Mix Naan was. I was expecting a selection of Naan and we got one with a spicy filling. Perhaps a brief description would be good. Other than that the food was as good as ever.

As a stranger coming in as well as being a lone male figure this restaurant has made decent effort to treat me respectfully and with dignity. This has led me to return and review again as last review I left was over five years ago. This is is nice restaurant staff are good and delivery drivers here really friendly too. The lady I met here a few weeks is a very nice person and delivery driver and has helped the gentleman here with menus changes for non alcoholic drinks and decorations in the restaurant that's made this significantly more modern and inline with more choices for customers. I haven't been treated so well in other restaurants in this area again maybe due to being a stranger on his own and of age. I highly recommend visiting Bengal Spice and will definitely return as for me a respectful peaceful and comfortable Tandoori where your not rushed or pressured makes my anxiety and health issues much easier to bare and somewhere I can enjoy a meal let it go down and still feel welcomed. Great quality food and customer service here. Noticed on my visits same patrons visiting which says alot for consistency and their customer service experience. Names of both staff and guests and previous orders for the regulars all remembered here so again says a great deal. Great place to visit and thanks again to the gentlemen who allowed me to move table when air conditioning was a little cold on my last visit.

Waited over two hours for my meal to arrive, Just Eat was no help in cancelling my order either forcing me to wait another hour “incase the food shows up” just so that I can get a refund. MEDIOCRE FROM ALL SIDES

Food turned up over an hour late. It had sat on a hot plate for 45 minutes waiting for the delivery driver to deliver it . Man on the phone was incredibly rude and refused to listen to us asking where it was or questioning how long it had sat around. Just an awful experience. Food was fine but average.

Where is my food??? Ordered at 22.10......now 00.20 and not arrived - can't get hold of anyone!!

Another absolutely delicious meal from Bengal spice, I've never had a bad meal in the 10 years I've been ordering from them, always you notch and the best around by far.

Had a meal here for the first time last night as part of a group of 10. We were seated downstairs, which suited us perfectly as we were the only customers in this section. The food, service and prices were excellent, making for a great evening. You have to take your own alcohol and I believe corkage was only £2pp. Soft drinks are available for those who don't want alcohol. This resulted in a big saving and worked really well. We'll definitely be visiting again in the future.

Ordered chicken pakora. Never come in bag. Called up was told would be delivered never turned up. Ordered chicken tikka rice was sent wrong rice.

Husband myself been here several times. Sat in this homely and friendly restaurant. Never disappointed. The food and service fantastic. Had take a ways as well. Top quality food. Been to many curry restaurants but this is the best. Very happy.

Very good flavours in the dishes, food was piping hot on arrival. Use of plastic containers is a shame but wouldn’t deter a future order. Portion sizes a little on the small size but again not enough to stop me coming back. Would have been a nice finishing touch to throw in a popadum ;)

Order from here all the time, usually the food is perfect. The last couple of times I've ordered it has been absolutely disgusting. All the curry's we ordered tasted like sugary milk and were completely flavourless. Called the restaurant and they didn't care at all, just gave us a poor verbal apology. It's a shame but I won't be ordering from here again.

Delivery was 19:05-19:25, requested an update and told I would get a text within 5 minutes. No message and food delivered at 19:35

Estimated delivery time was 20:00 arrived 20:55. I understand that it’s busy today, the time given for delivery should reflect the time delivered not just a generic 45 minutes from order not sure if the restaurant is responsible for this or Just Eat.

Always lovely food at a very reasonable price. Always very polite staff even when they are very busy. They don't sell alcohol, soft drinks only but you can take your own alcoholic drinks.

Our food arrived 2 and a half hours after we ordered it. I had to chase the restaurant 3 times because no one had called me to let me know it was running late. On the first phone call, they were very polite and helpful. The second phone call less so and the third was just outright rude. I will not be ordering from here again and would advise others not to either

Can’t recommend enough! The only decent curry we have had in Sittingbourne. Lamb is beautifully cooked and just falls apart. Curries have so much flavour and are delivered piping hot. Not swimming in oil, as alot of other curry houses often are. The onion bhajis are amazing! Proper sliced onion deep fried, so they’re crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The Bombay potato is the best we have had. Potatoes perfectly cooked and taste lovely. Food was delivered slightly earlier than I requested but it wasn’t a problem. Never had a bad meal here.
