Best Indian by far. Jacks challenge is a must try. Tried multiple curry’s from the menu and everyone has had so much flavour. Staff are really friendly.

After eating a prawn based dish my wife was sick & has diarrhoea all night. She didn’t finish the dish & took the rest home which my son ate who was also then sick & had diarrhoea all night. We won’t be using this restaurant again.

We have been using the Prince of India for about a year now. Used to use other Indian restaurants in Faversham and Whitstable, but since finding the Prince, we no longer go anywhere else! You will read some reviews about take away taking too long to deliver, but this is down to their popularity! We always try to eat in as Indian food always tastes better fresh out the ovens/tandoors. I love the fact that they take the time to remember and learn your tastes, and adjust dishes to match. I especially like hot dishes, and can always try something different on the menu that they will spice up for me - even a chicken chat puree (naga hot) !!! If you have not tried the Prince yet, give it a go - you wont be disappointed!

Visited recently with friends as this is one of 2 Indian restaurants they drequent in Faversham, I wish there was a rating between average and good on TripAdvisor . Themeal was definitely above average but not the best I've ever had. That being said, the service was excellent, and the food was full of flavour. My only slight negative was that the chicken was a little tough. The restaurant was packed on a Friday night, so perhaps it wasn't cooked down enough. It wasn't undercooked, but I prefer my chicken soft. Breads and sides were all lovely, and we would return.

Order delivered on time, food was mediocre though although it filled a hole.

Ordered this at 6.50pm and it arrive at 8.50pm. Called the restaurant when apparently my ordered was delivered st 8.05pm but it hadn’t. When I called the restaurant they just said sorry. Not good enough I’m afraid.

Prince of India is hands down our favourite local Indian restaurant! The food is always absolutely incredible—full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and made with real care. It’s always delicious, and whether we’re eating in or getting a takeaway, the quality is consistently excellent. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are always attentive. If you’re looking for amazing Indian food. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately all the food was at best lukewarm, mostly cold, the naan was ice cold almost as if not heated. Shame as was on time for collection.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here at Prince Of India. Food was unbelievable and the service was there to match it. 100% recommended anyone in the South East area to visit.

Food was fabulous 10 on 10 and the boys serving the food were very attentive to our personalised requests. Highly recommend it. Definitely try their lamb chops and Tarka dal.

Everything was as expected, very tasty.

Very good food as always, but the delivery time was very long again. It took an hour and forty minutes for it to arrive. Even the estimate was 70-80 minutes. I’d definitely recommend the food but you need to order well over an hour before you want to eat.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Prince of indian Farvesham, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was simply divine – every dish was crafted to perfection, bursting with flavour and presented beautifully. You can tell the chefs take immense pride in their work, as each bite was a true delight. As for the service, it was nothing short of impeccable. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They struck the perfect balance between being professional yet personable, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re after a cosy dinner or celebrating a special occasion, prince of India is a true gem. I can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely be returning soon!

Another visit to the best Indian around. Had the winners chicken curry....OMG...creamy, spicy, hot, chicken with peppers onions in a really spicy creamy sauce....absolutely lovely.

The Prince of India wins awards for a reason. The curries and the warm welcome here are absolutely top notch, and if it's not on the menu the chefs are happy to make it for you. They deserve all the plaudits they get. You won't be disappointed.

Appalling. Waited an hour and 15 minutes for food this evening. Was told 5 more minutes at around an hour of waiting. What was annoying is other people were coming in and being seated and getting food before us.

First time we have tired this in about 10 years, we usually go to the competition. I must say, I am very impressed! Beautiful food and offer different dishes to a standard Indian takeaway, we will definitely be back.

Unfortunately the chicken in the tikka masala tasted really burnt we couldn’t eat it. We eat from here a lot but this has put us off.

Ordered a takeaway and it was easily the best we've had in Faversham in recent memory. Everything cooked to perfection, full of flavour, the chicken didn't feel cheap, and nothing was swimming in oil. The chap on the phone was helpful and it was delivered when they said it would be. Love it. Will definitely order from them again, and will eat in when we get the chance.

We had travelled for over five hours to get to Faversham and decided to eat here after our long journey. We were not disappointed - an extensive menu like nothing I’ve seen before, and utterly delicious food. Two glasses of wine, a soft drink, two starters, two mains with rice, one naan and one side only came to £56! I’m just sorry it’s not nearer!

Totally disappointing. This has got to be one of the most awful takeaway curries I’ve had in the area. Decided to give the Prince of India another chance, as I had a fairly bland meal from them a few years ago. I saw that they had just won an award as one of the best Indians in Kent, so assumed there have been some real improvements. Absolutely revolting! Bland, completely devoid of genuinely well mixed fresh spices and not very hot on arrival. I agree with another reviewer who said that the food tasted as if it was out of a jar. I mean, it really did taste as if it was out of a jar. Oily too . The mustard Korai chicken was similar to a Sharwoods jar of Balti with a couple of teaspoons of mustard mixed in. The spicy poppadom tasted strange - like fish oil and was burnt around the edges. The chicken tikka masala was bright red which I really don’t like - these luminous colours are off putting. But my daughter ate this and said the flavour was okay . The lentil dahl was average. Special Aloo was mincemeat with potatoes- basically a shepherds pie with a couple of mega hot green chilies thrown in! Odd. No background flavour though - reminded me of hospital food. Why send rice with green and pink in? I don’t like that odd tri colour rice. Far too much food colouring in their meals. I will never order a takeaway from here again -can’t believe it won awards. I did order on Sunday night, so perhaps that was the reason, but I won’t be using Prince of India ever again. I’ll stick to their rivals ! Not cheap either and for this kind of money, you expect a good quality meal. Be warned about the hidden charges; £1.99 service charge, ( not exactly sure what the service change is when it was a takeaway) and 10p for a bag! Seriously?!

We called late this afternoon to get a table for three adults and one baby, the guy told us they were fully booked till after 9pm as we had wanted a table for 6pm. We then called back straight away to see if they could fit us in at 5pm and they said they could. We arrived shortly after 5. The restaurant was half full and stayed that way till we left. We found that the food was bland and chewy but the worst part was the service. We waited for nearly an hour to get our starters and the waiters were so rude. They came across as being very arrogant and lacked manners. The very young lad was good though. We've been to many Indian restaurants and have never had such a bad experience. We are usually greeted with smiles and a fabulous service. I definitely will not be going back and I do not recommend this restaurant.

A quick word to say how well we were looked after on our Social Club Xmas Curry celebration at the Prince of India. 20 odd of us seated and very nicely served. Great choice of dishes all arrived in good time. Thoroughly recommended.

Best curry I have had in a very long time!

If you’re after an incredible Indian The Prince of India is the place to be. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting vibe and top-notch service. The food? Absolutely amazing. The chicken tikka is juicy and packed with flavour, while the biryani is full of aroma and spice. Their lamb rogan josh is perfectly balanced, and the paneer makhani is a must for vegetarians. Every dish is spot on and made with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy, making it a great spot for a casual dinner or a special night out. If you're in the mood for excellent Indian food, The Prince of India will not disappoint!

We were absolutely delighted that Jack the owner was able to squeeze us in at opening time although his restaurant was fully booked later in the evening. We had read the reviews on Trip Advisor and were certainly not disappointed. The service was welcoming, friendly and attentive as we had hoped it would be. The food too was excellent, served up nice and hot and very flavoursome. There were several unique dishes available for the more adventurous. Other good points to note were the modern and attractive decor, quality feel of the carpet and the excellent toilet facilities. The bill was very reasonable and we would certainly book again when we are next in Faversham. Jack is rightly very proud of the awards he and the restaurant have gained - Please see attached photo.

Poppadoms smashed up, veg curry swimming in oil, naan and roti cold, biryani in smaller pot than normal and cold

We arrived without booking in a group of 5 and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or accommodating. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was absolutely amazing! Probably the best curry we’ve had. The authentic Indian cooking here is absolutely not to be missed.

Prawn in mix starter was so soft like mush and tasted like it’s gone off, unfortunately had to pop in the bin the whole dish. Everything else was lovely as usual.

We had not booked but they still found us a table, the food was first class, service first rate, best Indian meal I have had so far, big portions all hot, you could not fault anything,

Order £50 meal and was sent the wrong food, then had the cheek to only give me £10 back! Worse Indian in Kent AVOID also naan breads are tiny and food taste like it’s came out a jar! Oh and it took 1:10mins 😂

Food was late, quality wasn’t there and found a lump of wood in the sag dish. Sadly wont be ordering from here again.

10/10 again for Jack and his team for an outstanding evening’s dining at Faversham’s Prince of India. Banquet night tonight: £14.95 for any starter, main, side dish and rice or naan. Matchless value. The word is out so do book in advance! Portions were so large, with four of us dining, we were able to ‘doggy bag’ a full further two meals (team provided containers without any fuss). None of this of course would mean anything if the food wasn’t great. It is outstanding. Quality ingredients, expertly cooked, with such differentiation of flavours. I try to order a new dish every visit. Tonight I luxuriated in King Prawn Arachi. Absolutely delicious with a sweet, astringent and spiced pickle base, underlying a rich sauce - festooned with fat prawns, cooked to perfection - succulent and bouncy. The customer service had its habitual warmth and good humour. Our order was taken and food presented in a timely fashion. Main restaurant and lavatories spotlessly clean. Alas far too many eateries ‘take the money and run’. The Prince of India places great importance on the overall customer experience. Will return very soon.

Food arrived late. Tikka rice half full. Cauliflower dish half full. Prawn dish had 4 prawns only. Peshawari naan burnt taste. Poppadoms were in bits. Every dish had leaked in the bag. Not usual quality or delivery time. I expect a refund.

They managed to fit us in on a busy hop festival evening and we're very pleased they did. Delicious food (special mention for the Bhendi Ghost) & excellent service even with a table of 20 adjacent. Will most definitely return whenever we're in Faversham

Very friendly helpful staff making our dinner choices. Everything ran smoothly and on time. The food is the best our 'Curry Club' has eaten in this area of a 10 mile radius. Curry Club is a group of enthusiasts trying different Indian restaurants in around where we live.

Missed out things on the order and all really greasy. It’s normally pretty good so I was disappointed

The taste was so authentic and honestly 10/10, if you haven’t tried do try it out, the loaded fries and the sizzling king prawns were delicious, the grilled lamb chops were 20/10

I booked a early table for 4 people before a visit to a show, the welcome was very welcoming the service was excellent, the food was one of the best that you could expect and the Railway Chicken cooked by Jack the chief was again out of this world. We have visited India several times and would rate this restaurant as being our favourite.

I've tried every Indian restaurant in faversham and always come back to the prince. They are very welcoming and the food is great.

Good food and a great service, nothing was to much trouble, the food was amazing and at an affordable price which in these hard times is amazing, the restaurant was fully booked which is nice to see when you hear of so many restaurants closing due to lack of patrons, this was far from the case here and it was a Thursday evening.

Staff have the knack of making a sit down Indian meal into an experience of positive vibes and great food to match. Banquet nights on Monday and Thursday well worth trying first. Worth noting that they also reached the finals of the best Indian restaurant awards for Kent.

This is the 3rd time we have visited this establishment and the food was fantastic the best Indian I have ever had highly recommend.

Loyal customer, but just been delivered a water curry. So watered down there's no flavour. Essentially brown water with a few prawns in. This place can be great, but occasionally you get served rediculously bad food.

Just moved to area. So first time here after recommendation. We were not disappointed. Food was fresh, delicious and worth waiting for. They were very busy ,but service was still good , only a little slow. We were in good company so it didn’t matter ! Highly recommend
