Very disappointing visit a couple of weeks ago. Nudo has been my favourite restaurant in Newcastle for the past 10 years. The quality of the food, the great value and good ambience. I was very sad to see it had a new menu/concept. For me, picking my own ingredients and choosing a sauce was underwhelming. The food was fine, but not something I would want to have again. I thought it was expensive for what I ate as well. Kids like the novelty, but I won't be coming back. I'll try the Eldon Square version as I believe they have some of the previous menu.

Great place for a quick laid back lunch. It's no frills but I like that. Had the 3 meat rice bowl. Very authentic Chinese food. Light and pretty healthy, just meat rice and veg. If you don't like meat on the bone you can make a request for no bones.

came at 5:30 for a quick glass of wine before a meal. not only was the atmosphere dead as the whole place was empty but the staff were setting up a balloon arch and using a really loud machine to blow up the balloons. this noise was continuous and seriously jarring. multiple balloons popped right by us which is not what we were expecting when we chose to come here. surely this should have been done before they opened or at least in a different room to where customers are. wouldnât recommend spending your time or money here.

Sky Chinese Cuisine is a Cantonese restaurant located in Chinatown, Newcastle, UK. There is an elevator along the main street, so it's best to take the elevator to the 3rd floor. (You can also go by stairs, but it's quite difficult lol) You can also enjoy various types of dim sum. I tried the shrimp dumplings and spring rolls and they were delicious. The inside of the store felt a little dirty, but it was a nice Chinese atmosphere. Most of the staff and customers were Chinese. This was one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever eaten at in the UK. Recommended.

Worst meal we have had, asked for well done naan bread but got it very crispy, just like a packet of crisps, chicken very very tough also chips were still very hard, I can honestly say what a waste if money and would never use them again đ

Visiting for the wknd and called in here initially to take away but decided to eat it inside due to the rain. Met by lovely staff so helpful we both ordered the large chicken chow mein and picked what veg we wanted with it. It was cooked in the wok infront of us and served very quickly. Its one of the nicest chow meins I have had in a long time. We would definitely eat here again when we visit. The place was very clean the staff were smart with clean uniforms. The diner is basic there's no frills but it's not meant to be like that you go there for the food.
