Visiting for the wknd and called in here initially to take away but decided to eat it inside due to the rain. Met by lovely staff so helpful we both ordered the large chicken chow mein and picked what veg we wanted with it. It was cooked in the wok infront of us and served very quickly. Its one of the nicest chow meins I have had in a long time. We would definitely eat here again when we visit. The place was very clean the staff were smart with clean uniforms. The diner is basic there's no frills but it's not meant to be like that you go there for the food.

Friendly staff explained the choices available, I selected quorn veg and udon noodles with a black bean sauce and a can of pop. Quick service and clean tables, I think chopsticks are optional.

I've been eating at yoyo noodle for quite a while and they make the best chicken chow mein I've ever had, they even wok the food being made in front of you its great to see the food being cooked in this way and the taste is even better, the staff are very respectful and there is even access given to the free wi-fi on your order receipt. if you have not been before get yourself down you won't regret it!

Good service, very fast food and it was delicious. Would recommend the sichuan and beef noodles. Slightly more expensive than other fast food, was around £7

We returned to Yo Yo Noodles after a surprise discovery of this place last year. You pick your noodles (I went for udon and hubby got egg fried), then choose your meat, add vegetables and choose your sauce. I didn't enjoy the black bean as much this time but hubby's Shao Shao was super tasty (but a bit spicy!) The staff were friendly and there was a large choice of meal options to choose from. There is seating inside, which was clean and tidy, and toilets for customers to use - also clean. Our noodles meals were super tasty and very good sized portions too, we went for large which are huge! Best of all the food was literally ready within minutes! We paid £18.70 for 2 meals with drinks (not sure why the water bottle was twice the price of a can though?!)

Food was ok, but portion size was small for the price. Customer service was pretty bad, my partner ordered first, while i still was deciding. After i spoke to him, the guy had offered different sizes and option of adding chillies. For me he did neither, unsure why he didnt for me. But either way probably wouldn't go back. Shame because it has so much potential

the worst pad thai in newcaatle with the pasta too sweet and overcooked, the food is disappointing for value for money :(

We were staying nearby at Hotel Indigo but our booking at their restaurant had been cancelled due to covid staff shortages so we looked around for somewhere to grab food from quickly, as we were starving after a long day of walking. We didn't have great expectations but just popped into Yo Yo Noodle for takeaway as wanted something to eat quickly, but we couldn't have made a better choice! Our noodles meals were super tasty and good sized portions too. The staff were friendly and there was a large choice of meals to choose from. Best of all the food was ready to take away within minutes! We paid £17.90 for 2 meals with drinks. We would highly recommend and will definitely remember this place for next time we are in central Newcastle.

Wasnt sure about this place as the outside does not seem overly inviting . Went in regardless and asked for vegan options which they had a few off. Ordered a rice dish and a udon noodle dish and have to say they were excellent. Really nice food for great value. I'm not a local, if i was I would be here every day.

I highly recommend this place for lunch. Noodles are fresh and full of flavour. The best one is Tokio Classic!

I had visited before but not been in for a while so I thought I will have what I usually order chicken chow mein,my first meal of the day and as I was hungry I ate every bit,next morning woke up with terrible stomach pains and never off the toilet all day,eventually settled down around 8pm so that's me not going to that place in Grainger street again

Staff are friendly, fast and efficient. Food cooked fresh and quickly and tasted delicious. Great value for money, would definitely recommend.

I have visited the place a few times, every time had to argue to pay by card! They claim machine doesn’t work but when I threatened to walk out it seems to start working. Food is good for what it is but over priced. Don’t offer a service to people and then not driver..... it 2019 and most people don’t carry cash.....

Had Chicken Chow main here twice good portion. Very hot. Nice tasting. The servers are quick and efficient.

My 2 daughters have been wanting me to try Yo! Sushi for ages now. Went to the Newcastle branch today to spend my gift voucher. Very impressed, nice relaxing atmosphere, lovely staff, especially Liam. Food was delicious, very reasonably priced and made promptly. Will definitely return! Thankyou

This was our first visit to Yo yo noodle and we weren't disappointed, We ordered Pad Thai and it was cooked in front of us, the staff were great, very polite and the food was 1st class. We will definitely be back 10/10 👍

Called in here on way to westlife concert,, 1st time ever eaten here. Absolutely gorgeous pad thai tastes just like it did in Thailand. Wish there was one closer to my home. Will definitely return if in Newcastle again.

Somewhat noisy, but quick service, tasty and healthy food. Moreover the prices are very reasonable. Hereby recommended.

I have been multiple times and the food is always fresh and great. It is handy if you need a quick lunch or if you want to sit in and take your time. The atmosphere is very relaxed and would recommend to anyone.

Been here 3 times already but reviewing for the first time. Non expensive lovely food, nice vibe to the place and food is always fresh.

First class faat food. Just what a needed after a long day at work and before a gig at the O2. Sweet Chilli Chicken Noodles were fabulous aa were the Mini Spring Rolls. Will be back .. again!

Loved this experience , literally happy with excitement . Great experience watching the chefs , you get a great hello when you go in. Really helpful menu , colourful , great service , excellent value for money. Can't wait to take my grandchildren to have this experience. Will be back soon , and also try the take away .

Speaking to staff who said all the meat is halal....Staff then had to go back and check. They cook pork with all the other meat, which nulifies the point in having halal meat in the first place

Got a deliveroo. Was shocked when it arrived. Portions were miniscule. Won't be buying again. Food tasted ok, but for £18 I would expect twice the food I got.

Amazing tasty noodles! I am not an easy person to win over. I can be a food critic, but honestly these noodles were glorious. I had teriyaki pork with udon. So good. Will be back to try other combinations.

Looking for something different for a lunchtime snack and decided to try here.You select the items for you meal and then it's fried in the wok before your eyes.It's a nice little noodle bar, simple tables and chairs. You eat you meal from the cartons, quick, efficient and clean.The food was really good, tasty and as I had selected everything that went into the meal no complaints about the content.Staff were friendly and helpful, place always seems busy, so they must be getting it right. Reasonably priced and well worth a visit.

After a weekend of drinking and eating "junk" food, I was pleasantly surprised to so somewhere that made things fresher. Good portion size, well cooked with a decent amount of beef. Would recommend and will go again on my next visit to Newcastle

This is a great little place for a quick meal. You can choose from various types of noodles, rice, meat and veg. The staff are efficient and friendly. It's clean and comfy. Unfortunately the toilet facilities definitely need to be addressed.

I wouldn't bother with this place, you are essentially paying £5 for some warmed up noodles, bean sprouts and a few tiny pieces of "chicken". Completely tasteless also. For the same amount of money I would much rather go to Zapatista and ow I wish I had.

I had to get off the bus as did not want to embarrass myself with bowel problem . Within 10/15 mins of finished eating was ill . Went to my hotel room with the shakes . NEVER AGAIN AVOID

You choose the noodles, the accompanying vegetables, and quorn, meat, or prawns and a sauce and you can see them being cooked and eat them there, from the carton. They also have meat and rice, and starters. The food was fresh, the tables where you eat basic, could be cleaner. The only working toilet and was pretty grotty. Unforgivably in my view there was no soap. I hope the staff don't use it but I suspect they do. I told the man behind the counter, he ignored me. Low score for you then.

Great noodle bar. Fantastic fast food . Ideal for a quick snack. A nice place to refuel while out shopping. We just love this place.

Tem diversos tipos de macarrão de trigo, de arroz, com ovos, vc pode escolher o tipo recheio, molhos e pasme... vc come pacas... não é caro, em média de 5 a 6 pounds por refeição.

If you are looking for quick Asian food for short lunch break, this may be just right for you. They have clear steps to follow to create your own menu and they are quick. They have a lot other small bites as well, like samosa and so on. But I didn't tried those, so can't say on the taste.I had their noodle, which taste reasonable considering the price and time. I say worth a try when you run out of option for lunch.

Grab your lunch from this shop, wouldn't cost more than 5£ with good noodle preparation infront of your eyes.

being a vegetarian u need tobe carefull, I ordered veg noodles and chose all vegies to add, best is when the noodles came I realised egg was added in end on its own and I had to throw all the stuff

Been wanting to try this place for a while: deals were good, food was freshly made and service/preparation of food was very quick. It was good, however I felt that portion of the smaller box was TOO small - maybe that's just because I eat a lot?! For £5.00 its okay, will probably come again!

i went for lunch, i've been wanting to go for ages but totally forgot it was there.i had the small chicken chow mein and a cup of tea.the chow mein was nice but very greasy, even the small size was to much for me.i ordered spring rolls and prawn crackers to take away with me which were very nice.i went to the toilet but there was no soap or paper towels, i used the hand dryer tho. i told them about no soap in toilet and they seemed confused and could'nt help me........

Great place to go if you're looking for quick food. Always fresh, prepared in front of you once ordered! Wide range of topping/sauces/flavours - would definitely recommend & return.Also, I had the satay sauce which made my noodles a tad dry, this was to be expected though so no complaints

As a fan of Wok to Walk and other members of the noodle franchises it has constantly annoyed me that Newcastle has not had a place I can drop in and get delicious noodles at a reasonable price from. Now it has! The menu is short, to the point, easy to understand and efficient. Prices are extremely reasonable and in line with some of hte larger franchises and quality seems to be consistent over the dishes I ordered.Food is cooked fresh while you wait, you can watch from behind some large screens as they fry up the noodles, rice or whatever else you ordered. Each meal is made and delivered in minutes so there didnt seem to be a lot of wait time. Side dishes are unimaginative but cheap and filling, the crab claws were excellent! They also do a great loose leaf green tea!Just dont come after 9pm on a friday or saturday as it is next to the Bigg Market!

If you're looking for a quick lunch or snack then this place is ideal. Busy little place, portions are large with meal being around £5. You can eat inside although staff not quick in clearing tables although easily solved if people cleared up after themselves!

Found this place on a walk to work and took a chance on it being good. I was right ! Needed a quick lunch that was hot and filling not too far from where I work. The staff are friendly, it's clean but best of all the food is fresh, cooked before your eyes in a flash and delicious. For less than a fiver, I'm full up all day. City centre lunch can be a boring meal deal, it doesn't have to be. Love yo yo, so much so, when I open the door I am greeted with "the usual ?". Recommended as one of my fave take away or eat in lunches in Newcastle.

This was great for a quick lunch and is cooked once ordered. It's a standard price for a fast food place but was very tasty. Place was clean and staff friendly.

Foods ok, but which chuffing brightspark though that accepting a lunchtime order for 50 people and then proceeding to cook it from scratch when we arrived to collect it should be nominated for employee of the month!!

This noodle place is simple, quick and cheap. Staff is very friendly and the noodles are delicious (I had a large egg noodles+chicken+thai sauce and spring rolls for GBP 5.90). The only downside is that the food seems quite greasy but that comes with the territory.
