Baseri is a really special restaurant. The food is beautiful, but what really stands out is the incredible hospitality. The staff are attentive, generous and kind. They make fantastic recommendations and fill the restaurant with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Soooooooo over priced. Holy moly!! You get next to no food, teeny tiny portions (not exaggerating at least half the size of every other take-away) you pay at least £2 more for each dish than you would anywhere else. AND the quality is shockingly poor. I ordered food about £50 for 2 people assuming we would have seconds, maybe thirds the next day. There was barely enough for a portion each, and we've had to eat a second time tonight, and both meals were terrible quality, undercooked dumplings, over cooked squid, wrong tasting thai curries with cucumber? Almost 0 veg, there were only 4 prawn toasts in a portion, and it had little to no flavour. ... Neither of us will eat a huge meal, and saying there was barely enough for two portions in £50 worth of food from a takeaway is saying a lot. I'm never buying from here again, I have no idea why it's 4.7 stars!

We recently visited Mount Gurkha in Loughborough with a group of friends, and we had an excellent time. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Sherpa chicken and Lamb Momo, both of which were deliciously spiced and full of flavor. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxed meal with friends, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

1st time here on a dull Saturday afternoon with my partner, son, his daughter (3 yrs)and partner. On arrival, greeted and had a few drinks whilst waiting for our table (we arrived early). The place has a wonderful laid back atmosphere. Shown to our lovely table by the log fire and shown the menus. This is great, 2 large blackboards with all the food listed. There is a great selection of dishes here. It was hard to decide what to have but had some great advice from the staff. The food was totally superb. I chose this place due to the variety of the menu and the pics of the food. Often, reality doesn't quite match the photos but I've enclosed mine here because reality did live up to what's on the pub website. We had a fab time, really enjoyed it and will be back again. A real gem this one.

We had an absolutely lovely time here celebrating my dad’s birthday. The service was excellent and always accompanied by a smile. We really enjoyed our popadoms and pickles and the curries were delicious!!! Would 100% recommend trying out this fantastic restaurant. What a little hidden gem! Thank you x

The restaurant is unique - it has a Thai ambiance with cool decorations that remind me of my trips in Thailand. It even has tuk tuks inside where you can dine. The service was attentive and they served my food relatively quickly, which surprised me a bit, considering it was a busy time. I had the Peek Gai Tod (southern style Thai deep fried chicken wings) and Pad Ga Prao (stir fried minced pork with basil and rice). The Peek Gai Tod (£6.95) was one of the most crispiest wings I’ve ever had - it came with a mild sweet sauce that complemented with it well. It didn’t have a unique flavour but the crispiness was the best part of it. The Pad Ga Prao (£13.95) was good, however, the rice was a bit dry. The portion wasn’t too small but it wasn’t also too big. It was the right amount for one person - the flavour wasn’t anything extraordinary but it was a classic. It’s fun to dine in - you can enjoy and admire the decorations while you wait. It offers amazing, large options for vegetarians and I gotta say their menu is fairly extensive. It’s worth to stop by if you want Thai food!

I can fault anything about our experience at The Raj. Our waiter Abs provided the highest quality service that you could expect in a Michelin star restaurant, helped guide us into dishes we may like based off our preferences and was an overall pleasant person to have involved in our evening. The place is decorated amazingly, great atmosphere whilst still being able to talk at a normal volume and I urge anyone to try the rooftop bar after their dinner as the drinks up there were lovely.
