My family and I are visiting from New Jersey, America- and we recently tried The Raj, and I can confidently say it was the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten in my life. Every dish was packed with incredible flavor, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. No other restaurant even comes close to matching the quality and authenticity we experienced here. The staff were absolutely lovely—warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. We were not sure what to order- we trusted them to bring out the best foods and every suggestion was spot on. Dining at The Raj was unforgettable, and we’ll definitely be back.

Our second visit. The first was so good we felt the need to return quickly and verify! Everything was just as good again. Abdul was there to welcome us and was, as before, exceptionally helpful. The food was again exceptional. Everything was super-fresh and we ordered too much and were offered the opportunity to take home what we left. Cannot recommend highly enough, 2 visits and 2 excellent experiences. Thank you.

Visited on 21st April, amazing atmosphere, friendly staff and food/bar was awesome! Highly recommend for a place to reconnect with friends and family. Owner was very accommodating and let us stay past closing time to be able to spend more time with friends on their heated rooftop. Decor in and out was amazing. This was our first visit and it was also my partners birthday. The ambience is amazing. Good choice of drinks. We were greeted by all the friendly staff and they couldn’t be more attentive if they tried. Best curry we ever had. They showed us the lovely piano room upstairs and outdoor area. We will be back!

My wife and myself ate here to celebrate our two year wedding anniversary. I must say, the food was incredible. From taste to presentation. Everything was done with great passion. The waiters treated us well and were always there to help out, they were nice and respectable. I forget what my wife had for her main course, however I had the lamb shank. Thenger gosht, if I remember correctly. Really tasteful and tender lamb, fell right off the bone. Definitely would recommend. I believe the son of the owner, came and chatted with us, which was very nice. After we ate, we were invited to take a tour of the restaurant. The VIP room, hookah lounge and the 1K rooftop area. We were impressed by the attention to detail that adds to the atmosphere. I forget the name of the gentleman that gave us the tour (my apologies) however he was very kind. We had a great time at The Raj and definitely will be returning soon. If you like Indian food and excellent service, as well as experience. Go to The Raj.

Lovely place, and really good food with plenty of vegan options. However the service was very very slow. We’d been there for 45 minutes before they even took our order, and then slow to bring food, bring the bill etc. Good food though and nice interior.

When we first entered, we were given seats upstairs, as they were very busy, it was cold but then they moved us downstairs when there was a table available. My little one was offered a child seat too, the service was brilliant. The menu when i first had a look, was very lets say complex, as there were variety of dishes to look through and choose-i did feel overwhelmed, anyways we chose what we was already familiar with eating, and then ordered drinks. The food was very nice!for starters We ordered puri with vegetables and sheesh kebabs and then mix platter, dhaal curry, lamb biryani (not a fan of biryanis but my husband is) and chips, honestly couldnt fault the them dishes, i loved the puri with the vegetable curry. The total bill (i felt) was expensive plus with tip, but as mentioned before Service was brilliant! Probably wouldn’t go there with my kids, but with just husband/friends

Visited the restaurant this evening with my family (including my 11-year-old fussy son) and all of us were delighted with the delicious food, friendly service and the whole experience. We’ll definitely come again.

We came to the Raj for my partners birthday meal. We moved to Kettering last year and had heard a number of good things about the Raj but this was our first time trying it ourselves. We absolutely loved the decor and found the staff really friendly and helpful. The owner was chatty and interacted with us too which is rare nowadays. When we explained this was our first time at the restaurant, a member of staff showed us around the building. We will most certainly be back, especially for the Sky Bar and Shisha Bar. Now to the food, WOW! It was absolutely exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed by us both. The masala chips are amazing! The restaurant also appeared really clean which is a big plus for me. I hate going for food then when you go to the toilet, the toilets are grotesque. This is certainly not the case at the Raj. Really clean and stylish. We will definitely be back.

We are here for the first time recently and were not disappointed. The food was delicious with lots of variety (including an option for a customisable dish that lets you choose what you want it in ). Staff were really well presented and super attentive whilst not being overbearing and fabulous atmosphere. It has a glitzy wine bar vibe going on so you could easily come here for a couple of drinks prior to your meal if you wanted to. My one ‘complaint’ is the smoking area. You access this on the upper floor adjacent to the upper level restaurant area. We were sat at a table closest to the door and there were a few occasions where those wishing to smoke left the door open resulting in a blast of cold air. An automatic door closer would easily solve that problem: All in all an enjoyable visit and we’ll definitely visit again.

Following a recommendation from a friend had our first visit here. Lived in Northampton for 20 years and haven’t yet found a really good curry house. Until tonight! Environment was great, service excellent and the food was outstanding. Everything beautifully cooked. My wife is a little fussy and the waiter listened to what she wanted and said he would have something prepared which wasn’t in the menu. She said it was the best curry she has had. High praise. A little more expensive than the competition perhaps but well worth it. We will be back…..soon!

Walked to a rammed restaurant, fully booked. They made me. VIP table lol. The lamb spinach with coconut oil, keema rice and a keema naan. I ate in silence. speechless. I am from Bradford but this place!

I can fault anything about our experience at The Raj. Our waiter Abs provided the highest quality service that you could expect in a Michelin star restaurant, helped guide us into dishes we may like based off our preferences and was an overall pleasant person to have involved in our evening. The place is decorated amazingly, great atmosphere whilst still being able to talk at a normal volume and I urge anyone to try the rooftop bar after their dinner as the drinks up there were lovely.

Raed and Abid provided exceptional service during our time in the Raj! Their service and pricing were truly outstanding.

We were looking for a good Indian restaurant in Corby and we came across this place. They had a good reviews so we thought let's give it a try. We went on weekend and they were fully booked, but managed to fit us upstairs. We ordered mixed starts and main dishes. Food and starters were good except satkora chicken and lamb shank. Satkora chicken was bit bland and lamb shank was boiled which gave us a bit unrealistic taste. Overall it was a good place and food was good. Especially their toilet was clean and quite modern which was a bonus point.

This was my first time here after a recommendation, and I'm extremely fussy with curry house's (I only ever go to my favourite in derby) but omg this place is amazing , first of all the service is first class , everyone was impeccably dressed and friendly , secondly the decor is beautiful and warming, and last of all the food is amazing, we had starters and main with sides and each one I had was delicious, the choices are great , so I shall be visiting again.

Visited The Raj as I fancied a curry instead of the usual hotel food when on a business trip. Impeccable service from the whole Raj team ensuring guests get a great experience and feel valued. Decor is unique. I had the Dhansak which was made to my choice of heat. Chicken was beautifully cooked and in a rich sauce. So busy in there for a Wednesday evening, but service was swift but unhurried.

Visited on Saturday 16th November. Lovely warm greeting from staff who were friendly and very attentive. The restaurant is lovely, warm and inviting and is tastefully decorated. The tables in my opinion are a little close together and can be a bit snug for a party of 4 and over especially when the food and side dishes arrive. We had poppadoms and the pickles to start with , which were really tasty. We opted for a Chicken Tikka Balti, Chicken Korma and Chicken Tikka Vindaloo. We had egg fried rice, special rice, onion Naan and Keema Naan and Onion Bhaji`s. The food arrived hot and sizzling and was plentiful. My wife didnt like her Balti as there were no Peppers or tomatoes? Never had a Balti without these ingredients and my wife was disappointed with he flavour overall. The Vindaloo`s were nice and spicy but was it the best i have had? No certainly not. The Korma had a lovely flavour and all the dishes were well cooked with amazing spices. We all commented on the rice, not being as nice with big lumps of egg, the onion Bhaji were delicious and the Naan breads were divine. The staff were delightful and very attentive, and the service was superb. The price is a litter higher than you would normally pay at an Indian restaurant but it is lovely inside with excellent service. The parking could be awkward, so we parked in Sainsbury`s and paid for the parking. Would i come back for a return visit? No, i have had better Indian food elsewhere but it is down to ones individual taste.

We just had a lovely family evening at The Raj. It was great from start to finish. The staff make you feel so welcome and the food was delicious. Nice, relaxing atmosphere. I personally enjoyed the best Lamb Madras I've ever tasted. We are already planning our next visit.

Arrived with no booking, manager accomadated me refused to send me away he even gave me complimentary popadoms and pickle dips, serving staff was polite and the professionalism of all staff was absolutely brilliant, food portions was above expectations not to mention delicious. The atmosphere at this restaurant is excellent with loving mood lighting will definitely be coming back with family and friends.

We were with friends for dinner. We took two starters and each a main course. The food was tasty, seasoned, plenty of choice on the menu. And if you're not sure what you want to eat, the friendly staff are there to help. The place was clean, the service super, the food fresh.

We had a fantastic meal here on Saturday night. My starter of King Prawn Puree was perfect and presented really well. The mains were equally as flavoursome. The service was very efficient and friendly. I’d highly recommend popping in and having meal. Just make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment. It was fully booked last night from 7pm. Thanks again to Gaz and the team at The Raj for making us feel very welcome.

Couldn’t have been better! We came in flustered, hungry & in a real rush. The staff were incredible and got us a table straight away, with absolutely delicious food. Brilliant service all round. It’s no wonder it was full on a weekday. We’ll certainly be back for a more leisurely meal!

Both times we have gone to the Raj recently, the service has been attentive with attention to detail so it is more of a dining experience than just a meal out. The menu is vast and the sizzling platters give a great choice as you get to try different bits in one dish, the food came out fresh and delicious. The restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated. You can see the effort and pride that goes into maintaining the reputation of the restaurant by ensuring it is well staffed and all trained to high standard. As they were so friendly and accommodating to our children. Would definitely recommend and be back again

Went for my dad’s birthday meal and can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences. The restaurant is beautiful. The staff were exceptional and very attentive, going above and beyond to ensure everyone was happy and satisfied with their meals and experience. Food and service are both fantastic! My partner and I dropped in with 45 minutes to spare before we needed to leave for a train, and the staff were amazing, making sure we were able to eat and leave on time despite the restaurant being very busy. The food was also delicious (possibly the best naan I've ever had) and, being completely made to order, they were very accommodating of dietary requirements. We will definitely be returning!

Lovely vegetarian menu outstanding flavor and delicious, enough flavor without the need to add too much gee to make you feel bloated. Really great staff friendly and attentive to all the customers who were eating out. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants decent quality Asian cuisine.

My visit to England was worth the journey because I got to know the Raj Restaurant. What a beautiful place, tree in the center with all the fairy lights. The Waiters all in black suits, very smart. Service was impeccable, no sooner we were seated we were given the Menu Card, and what an amazing choice! The Waiters were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Food was to die for, I have never had a better Indien meal, another thing, the plates were not overloaded, portions just right, no left overs on our plates. By my next visit to England I would very much like to eat there again.

It’s sexy and you know it….Wow, wow, wow…. We love to be wined and dined, and travel all over to experience this sort of impeccable service, so you can imagine our delight to have found The Raj on our doorstep! As we entered the restaurant the stylish, beautiful decor is the first thing to catch your eye then to be greeted by the very smartly dressed staff who didn’t even flinch as we mentioned we had arrived 45 mins early :-) The food was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully, service throughout was top quality, nothing was too much trouble for any of the team. At the end of our meal we were greeted by a charming young man who offered to show us round the rest of this spotless, stunning restaurant but unfortunately we had not planned for such a fantastic experience and had other arrangements in place. We highly recommend visiting The Raj and will certainly be back very soon to experience more…. Travelled well over an 1 hour to come and try after seeing a video on TikTok. All I can say is Wow!!! From the moment I walked in the door to leaving the service and attention to detail was phenomenal. The food was the best Indian food I have ever had!! Being from Birmingham I have experienced a lot of different Indian restaurants but nothing has come close to The Raj Kettering. Can’t recommend it enough. We recently dined at The Raj with my two kids from Cambridge and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. My kids were over the moon by their wonderful hospitality and didn’t want to leave the restaurant, we really enjoyed & had a great evening at The Raj …. Really appreciated The highlight, of course, was the food. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavours and beautifully presented. Delicious and outstanding service. Each dish had a distinctive flavor profile and was exceptional. The service was top notch and no details were left undone; from the way the napkins were folded to the warm towel at the end of our meal. Well done! Once again I was visiting Kettering for the annual VJMC motorcycle club rally. I made a point of visiting the Raj with my friend as the experience last year had been so exceptionally good. Once again I was delighted. Staff were helpful and welcoming and the food was absolutely first class. Prices are very fair for such exceptional cooking. This is no ordinary restaurant. It is spotlessly clean, the staff are smartly dressed, the decor is fresh and modern and the welcome is genuine. I love it and will go again.

Very clean restaurant. dining for the first time. It was a delightful experience. The dining experience is outstanding. I started with the King Prawn Butterfly appetiser then had the Elios Grill for my main course, all of which were delicious. Great selection of drinks also (Alcoholic & Non Alcoholic). Excellent ambiance as well! Recommend to everybody.

I was so excited after reading the reviews and we left so disappointed. Starter of paneer shashlik and chicken pakora both flavourless. Mains prawn madras and Shobzi Karai with pilau rice and garlic naan. Nothing tasted of anything really, I’m not sure I’ve ever had a meal with so little flavour. The rice was dry and flavourless and even the naan bread didn’t really taste of garlic. I think the nicest part was the popadoms. The madras was very salty but no real flavour apart from that. All of this for the shocking price of £80+ (we had 4 drinks too). When asked how our meal was when they cleared our plates, I awkwardly said (I never complain) how it was, the waiter didn’t say anything - not a sorry or anything. When we asked for the bill another waiter asked how our food was and we said, again there was no reply. I can’t stress enough, I never write reviews or complain. The staff were lovely until the end when they just ignored our complaints. This is hands down the worst meal I have ever paid for.

Had the most wonderful dining experience to celebrate my sister’s 40th Birthday at Raj restaurant. The food was tasty, well presented and the staff were absolutely brilliant and so friendly and professional. I must also say, the most modern and best decorative restaurant I have been too locally - Loved it!!👌

Beautiful and delicious restaurant.

Absolutely first class experience at the Raj. Staff were fantastic as was the food. Very well decorated giving a great experience all round. Even a bonus race motorcycle tucked away for viewing. Probably the best Indian restaurant I've visited for all round appeal. Highly recommend.
