Another lovely meal last night for our Wedding Anniversary. Absolutely fantastic food and service every time we go. Food is cooked fresh and always tastes delicious, none of this re-heated stuff you get in some restaurants. Great menu with so many choices and great speciality dishes - tried most of them now. Keep up the good work Cafe Mash!

We had our family members join us in this lovely establishment and the food & service was amazing as my younger children have already said they want to return since the staff were so friendly and made us feel very comfortable in their establishment. Will definitely highly recommend to all.

Best Ruby Murray I’ve had in a fair old while, gave us some extra pompadours so they did, and a couple of sauces gratis, top chaps the lot of them.

This is as close to authentic Indian cooking as you can get without flying to India. So it can be very hot, but boy is it good. Ignore the wallpaper curling up, and the less than new decor and concentrate on the food. Unless you like a boring Korma (which is fine) you won't be disappointed.

Used to love it here but now it’s looking dirty and tired. Staff aren’t as friendly as they used to be, food was ok but nothing to get you arranging a return visit.

Would 100% recommend this restaurant. Me and partner went for dinner there. The waiters were so nice and polite, went out their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Food was delicious and fresh.

The food is OK, and plenty of it, but it's mainly sauce, and there were not many vegetables in the vegetable Chana masala that I had. The peshwari naan bread was very good. They did offer us a free liqueur at the end, which was nice. Overall though I thought it was a bit expensive for what it was.

We ordered a takeaway which we were looking forward to. I ordered Jinga Malai, described as three giant prawns in a mild sauce. The sauce was acceptable. However, when I began to cut into my third prawn, It was soft, stringy and decidedly suspicious. I was forced to discard the rest of the dish. Disappointing, considering it was £16.99. My husband ordered the Xacuti Chicken. Described as a mint leaf sauce. The dish was bright green, excessive sauce which resembled spinach. Not appetising to the eye and not particularly tasty. Papadums, pickles and naan were fine but not a pleasant experience.

Ordered at 19.35 and food finally arrived at 21:50. Order was missing the naam bread. All that aside the food was super tasty like always and I’m glad they fulfilled the order despite the difficulty of a delivery driver not turning up for work leaving the restaurant in difficulty.

Always had a lovely meal there, staff and very attentive and helpful. Head chef himself was interested in any suggestions we had. Food was very delicious from Starters and Mains (we were too full for dessert) and service was outstanding cannot recommend enough

This is probably the most authentic Indian restaurant in the area with a good choice of dishes not found elsewhere. It was also good to see them quite busy as a lot of restaurants are suffering at the moment. Worth supporting and we will be back as regulars.

Excellent food, delivered quickly

We have often driven by Cafe Mash and wondered what it was like. It’s quite remote, located on the B676 with only farmhouses for neighbours. Last night we decided to give it a try and we weren’t disappointed. Service was very attentive, the food was exquisite- no vindaloos here; this is authentic Indian cuisine cooked to perfection with perfectly combined ingredients and served in huge ornate ceramic bowls. I highly recommend that you give this restaurant a try.

Excellent food and service. 5 stars. Even threw in a free bottle of wine as a present. Did not dine in but the restaurant area looked very nice. Very tasty and good portion sizes.

This is the best lndian you have ever had ! the food is freshly prepared by a very talented chef, the food is so tasty! And beautifully presented ,And a fantastic array of dishes 😋 some unusual dishes , the welcome is so warm , the service is excellent ,and very attentive, We went with family that haven’t been before ,throughly enjoyed it too, we are local and have been going there since it opened. For takeaways too.

I always order from here when I can, the food is always great, the delivery is always fast, the prices are always reasonable.

Food was OK but we had to wait too long to receive it - nearly 1.5 Hrs after we arrived. Had to ask the staff twice, as to when the food would arrive. Staff were polite and pleasant though. Waited over 20 minutes for the bill and when we approached to pay they were still calculating it.

Tandoori Mixed Grill. Was completely bland with no flavour at all. Pilau rice and nan were good.

We have had food from Cafe Mash a few times now and every time the service and food has been hot, good quality and on time or early.

Amazing food, got so much flavour to it all, always comes earlier than the time, never had a bad meal would definitely recommend our favourite Indian.

Amazing food and stunning restaurant, the staff, Abdul and Shahin were polite and attentive. As well with the owner, Kamal. They made sure I was comfortable and happy and even helped me decide what to eat when I couldn’t decide. Overall I was more satisfied with my meal and service and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s looking to treat their tastebuds. If I could give more than 5 stars I would👍

One of the worst curry’s I have had in a long time. No flavour totally bland. Asked for extra dips with Popadoms because they were missed off last time and they were like water and I didn’t get anything extra. I think it’s very expensive for what it is I won’t bother again

Normally the food is a 5/5 however we found 3 pieces of bone in our cafe mash special main. And there was tandoori paste on our bread

I always love ordering from cafe mash, the food is full of flavour and the meat (I prefer lamb dishes) always falls apart. Not like the tough rubbish you get from other restaurants. It arrived hot, flavourful and I have to add that the delivery driver was clearly a restaurant employee rather than a just eat driver, fully suited up in a white shirt and waist coat which Just gives the brilliant first impression that they take pride in their establishment and themselves. Personally I loved that. We will 100% order again.

Had a delicious meal. The poppadoms, pickles (plus extras to those we ordered) and curries were fresh, individual and extremely tasty. Highly recommended.

Good quality of food, food size portions but my Jalfrazi was lacking in spice, heat and taste. The dry chicken shaslik had very dry chicken. Delivery despite being ordered well in advance was late. Not bad but average at best

I had a delicious take away delivered from Cafe Mash. I ordered their Cafe Mash Special Curry because I wanted to give their own dish a try and I am glad I did. I ordered it along with Coconut Rice and a Peshwari Naan and every part of my food was delicious. I will definitely be ordering again.

We using a restaurant we look for good food, value for money and good service. Our takeaway food was fine, but service and value were very poor. Ordering online we were given a 35 minute time for collection. Due to roadworks we took 40 minutes, so apologised for being late. However, our food was not ready and we waited a further 45 minutes. The staff apologised for the delay. Clearly, there was a problem dealing with the number of orders and there were raised voices in the kitchen. Arriving home we unpacked and found that one curry was missing, along with the extra popadoms we had ordered. Errors can happen. However, the management were far from helpful, and while we paid by card, they said they could not provide a refund this way. After five days we are still waiting for the refund.

Customer service here is above and beyond, and the food well we wouldn't go anywhere else the tastiest Indian Cusine for miles. Highly recommended 👌

First time we'd dined here. As enthusiastic Indian food lovers we were sadly very dissatisfied. Bland, un-generous portions, vastly over priced. Staff were incredibly helpful and hospitable. We were made up a 3 person sizzler starter. There was enough for two light appetites. The food wasn't hot, and we were charged £24.95 for this? The bill came to £112 for the 3 of us. We went away still hungry and felt unsatisfied. Despite the amazing staff, the food and prices let is down. Sadly we won't be returning.

Missed part of the order and the curry was ok.

Pros :food was amazing, hence the two stars. Cons :service poor- didn’t start well when despite booking, we were asked to stand by the bar and wait (no drink at this stage). There was a sofa nearby, why not invite us to sit there and give us a menu to browse through? Some paintwork peeling off, made the place look tired and unkept. Not the accommodation you would choose if you were taking someone out to impress or for a special celebration. There were candles on each table but no one could be bothered to light ours. One reason we chose this restaurant was because their website meant warming by the fire. However as we were not seated near it and it was apparently the only source of heat we we’re incredibly cold. I stayed in my thick jumper and heavy winter coat throughout the meal and my nails looked purple it was that chilly. Very unpleasant to eat when you’re feeling that cold. Poor choice of rosé wine, the only sweet Zinfandel available had to be brought by the bottle, no glass of it available. When the bill arrived they had overcharged us for drinks and also added up the total incorrectly, inflating several pounds to our bill. I noticed the error and they corrected it so I would advise any patrons to check everything about their bill correctly.
