Edit 29/03/2025 Placed an order nearly 2 hours ago. I just rang to (politely) ask if it's on its way and the guy said sorry but they're really busy then put the phone down on me. Not impressed. This isn't the first time they've taken ages. They used to be really good until 2 or 3 years ago but now it takes far too long to arrive. Sadly we'll have to try elsewhere in future. Edit 04/03/2024 - really annoyed. Food taken more than an hour and a half and still not here. The guy on the phone just keeps saying its on its way. He doesn't speak clearly, its not the usual guy, maybe change of ownership?. Will update when (if?) food actually arrives........well the order took nearly 2 hours - driver very apologetic and said that the other driver was off sick. Food was nice when it did arrive. Might give them another chance! Previous:- Always have a delivery from here when we have Indian food. Its always good and when they tell you how long its going to be, it does actually arrive when they say! Lovely.

The best curry in chesterfield, period!! Been coming here for years and it’s still amazing food. A lot of other local restaurants have gone massively downhill but not D41, please don’t change anything 😀 see u in March for my house warming doo

The 4 star reviews on here are clearly fake. This place is scamming people out of delivery money. If you order on just eat, it says it’s free delivery, if you look on their leaflet menu, it says it’s free delivery over £14.95 and within 4 miles. They wait until you’ve ordered and then call you up and demand you pay them £3 delivery or they won’t bring the food. They are bullying in the way they say this and have scammed my old mum twice now. Plus when the food turns up it is the most flavourless, watery muck you’ve ever eaten. Disgusting. Will be trying to get them off just eat.

I ordered my food shy of 3 hours ago food was meant to arrive at 21:06 and it is currently 22:29 no food in sight. When I try ringing the food shop it’s saying call failed and ringing out no one is picking us the phone, they shut in 30 mins not happy at all. Usually I am happy with this place however today I’m not happy at all

Waited 2 hours and 15 minutes for the order to arrive. The food was greasy and cold. Could not eat it, it went straight in the bin.

-chutoro was not chutoro - salmon tataki was dry - staff forgot dishes - skewer meat was questionable 1 star due to the chutoro not being actual chutoro.

Had a very nice lunch here in a group of 4. We were on a fixed price special deal. Great food, service etc. Only note to myself make sure to check the wine list prices before ordering extra glasses.

Wonderful food and nice service. They know how to make customers happy by their own hospitality and good quality of food.
