Ordered kebab roll and butter chicken. Very nice and tasty. The kebab had all the flavour, just needed a bit more salad. Butter chicken was yummy too. Would recommend both dishes.

Best delivered Tikka Masala I’ve had in years!

One of the most beautifully spiced biryanis i've ever had with lovely tender lamb. The peshwari naan is stuffed full of coconut. The chicken tikka roll is amazing too - ordered from here a couple of times and I think it will now be my regular spot.

Tasty but dry, as there was no sauce at all. In other restaurants I ate, biryani was served with side vegetables. The butter naan was fine.

I order lamb kebab biriyani and I got lamb mince

It didn't came with any sauce and Nihari without even coriander. Tasted nice, but won't order again due to missing elements.

Dry kofta curry with hard and dry meatballs, rice was hard, naan was tough. Wasn't a fan. Daal was nice though.

The Service is good and The food is delicious luck ult its only For me because its more spicy than any of our usual favorite Indian restaurant

The staff are miserable people. This is not service with a smile but service with a frown - no please, no thank you, nothing. An utterly miserable experience which will not be repeated. The food was average nothing to shout about and I will not be returning here again. Go to Salim’s further up the street where the staff greet you happily and customer service is first class.

I don’t know if different chefs work different days (the food is always good). But today, it was GREAT! The mince curry had a really nice kick to it. Excellent!

Lamb karahi had no flavour at all, presentation was also poor. So bland like it came from a fish and chip shop.

Watched driver sit with my food for 10 mins outside the restaurant.then drive it past my house and take another 15 mins as he went tottenham so it was all cold. He's response was to laugh

Dropped in to try some somosas and have a look at what their curries were like. The samosas are large and £1.20 each but the filling didn't have enough spices and tasted bland. Judging by the number of customers waiting to be served, it's quite popular with the locals.

The food is amazing here! you have to try the saag (spinach) we first tried a few weeks ago and now have to get something every time we pass by lol Excellent food. Kamran

the food was below average, the taste of the chana masala was awful and tikka biryani was mushy and not like a biryani flavour. the only decent thing was grilled wings. wouldn't order again unfortunately.

Second time I didn't get salad from Salim

I went to Salim Spice to eat Lamb Curry, i enjoyed so much, i decided to try all the menu, I came back i had Chicken on Bone. I will be back to eat all the menu, give me some time, more photos to come

I ordered 4 dishes and only received 3, missing out the main curry dish ruined the meal which wasn't cheap. 24 hours later and no response to my refund request from Just Eat.

Best food in town, getting food from there all the time, possibly for the past 8 years or more, never been disappointed. A Ahad Jafri.

I ordered a dish with lamb and lentils but it was blitzed into pulp could recognise what I was eating .by blitzing it increased the chilli heat . I also ordered keema byrani which was keema curry mixed with rice which also was so chilli hot due to the mixing .there was no layers like there usually is with bryiani. I used to love this place but I have noticed the last few months the food quality has become poor .

My experience today at this was terrible. I ordered lamb buriyani for lunch today. All customers who were there at that time spoke in their native language except me. Myself and another ordered the same meal. However, the person serving the meal served two distinctly different way, including the portions. For example side dishes of mine all put together, for him difference dishes, mine potion distinctly smaller compared to his, even the meat only two tiny pieces of bones for me. I did not bother to asked why it is like this as I was uncomfortable. I thought to myself, may be it is a different meal with extras with a different price. We both finished eating at same time, I was to pay after him. The guy who service didn't want me hear price he was paying for the food. Feeling suspicious, I watched closely and asked the guy who served me who was also the same person taking the money, why do you serve two different standards of potion for the same price. The guy startled and said that it was a mistake he charged less for him and tried to be defensive. I'm usually not fussy with food or services. May be this is my first ever review since can't remember writing any review before. However, this one, I felt so strong and and wrong being treated like.

I don't know, just awful; my first and last experience. I just think basic English would help .. if you speak their language go if not don't.

Ever since the staff/owners of this place changed few months back, the food hasn't been the same and the price is far too expensive now. If you'd like proper quality, walk a few steps down the road to Salims.

Delivered by a beautiful well mannered lady and food really tasty.

This place use to be the spot the food before was amazing recently I got food poisoning, the lady who served me was rude giving me attitude. the price for the quality is expensive and rubbish

Very poor service , take hours for just 6 naans Even if you call them before coming they give you time of 20 minutes and you still need to wait 20 minute after arriving.

The food was swimming in oil. Every dish, the dhal, the lamb curry, chicken curry and the chickpeas. Left a greasy coating on the tongue. Shame. As the food was tasty but never again. And whatever oil these places are using (other places locally too) tastes disgusting

Food is never fresh. Most of the time the curries are 1 or 2 days old. Always ask if it's cooked on that day. Very disappointed,nn

To clarify, we didn't visit, just ordered for home delivery. So sad that this once proper Desi cafe has turned to cr*p. My entire family have been customers for the last 16yrs since we moved into the locality. Salim's even catered for my son’s 1st birthday/Akika and the food was absolutely wonderful! There’s no option on TA to select ‘delivery’ so I’m posting here. We received what we thought was the wrong order for Iftar. I called SalimSpice and tried to explain that we wanted ChannaChaat but were instead delivered some kind of cold channa dhal. Hugely overpriced, overspiced and over-salted. I asked if I could swap this incorrect order for the correct order and was denied. I offered to send a photo and a copy of receipt but was told not to bother as I had been sent the correct order! No refund, no replacement. I feel Salims has forgotten its grass roots, instead it serves up generic slop for gentrified English people who are not familiar with authentic Pakistani food. Ramadan Karim indeed.

I have been to this restaurant several times to buy their meat samosas, they are usually very good. Unfortunately this time when I brought six, two were empty and filled with oil, they had obviously burst while cooking. Whoever had cooked them should have thrown them away and not have sold them in the restaurant. They were uneatable. I shall not be buying any more food from this restaurant.

Have ordered with salim spice many times but all their food are very oily!!! Bring down the quantity of oil in the food please 😕🙄🙄

The tikka biryani was very delicious and very fresh, always generous with the meat. The bhindi ghosht was very nice, the okra was very fresh and tasty, such a shame the meat was so dry and some pieces were burnt. Maybe someone just left the meat to cook too long by mistake. Always recommended though.

Yakhni was too spicy, that dish isn't supposed to be spicy at all. Also please cut down on the oil. But always good quality otherwise and tasty.

Food looked and tasted authentic. Real Asian food right here. Even veg somasas were above expectation.

I ordered biryani and papri chana chaat. Biryani was good but was not served with any raita or salaan. Papri chana chat, had no papri in it, was freezing cold, and lacking taste of sauces completely. Conclusion - Order biryani or mains, avoid chaat items.

The food is getting worst day by day. Yesterday, I bought the food. I believe they use unhygienic spices. Due to that since yesterday, my stomach extremely disturbed. I wish I can give them a 0 star.

Food arrived 5 mins late but was still hot. The items has spilled / leaked quite a lot of oil which was a bit of an inconvenience when serving. The seekh kebabs were over cooked and a little dry. The samosas were broken in the bag. The chilli chicken wasn’t spicy - it appeared to be chicken tikka on the bone in a curry. The palak was delicious. The aloo paratha was one of the best I’ve had. I’d order again but hope they would fix these issues.

The chicken was so dry it was basically inedible. The nihari was extremely oily and had very little meat. They forgot to add our rice which we paid for, then refused to bring us one saying we could have a rice next time we ordered. They were very unhelpful and the food was mediocre to poor.

Very bad food. Taste was so bad, I had to put it to bin. I never going to order from them again. I don't recommend this restaurant.

I hope owner will see the post. Workers keep talking each other non stop when costumers are waiting. Lady make food service with oily finger and gets money same time. They forget the bread which i paid and when i call for complain she hung up the phone on my face and never answer my following calls. I never visit this shop again. Very bad costumer service and dirty finger always in the curry and rice containers.

Food all leaked. Courier handed bags with all the food on their side. Chicken tikka undercooked and lamb chops not good. Wont be ordering again.

I've had better visits, but tonight I feel like I got treated with badly. I ordered saag aloo, chana daal and rice with roti. The food tastes good, the saag aloo had a nice pepper to it. If you're not used to pepper, do not order it. The problem is, them making me stand there for 10 minutes almost, waiting. In that time they were talking non stop with someone who came in after me, to an empty shop. Joking and laughing, instead of concentrating. In that time they were warming up food for orders, but they didn't warm mine up. So why was I waiting? The roti sat on the side, waiting for the rest of the food, but it fact my food just sat in the containers, cold. I have never been in there and left with cold food. Imagine going to a takeaway and having to eat cold food! They also didn't give me any salad or yogurt sauce, which is usually standard with all their meals. I don't understand why they forgot, seeing as they packaged it up for other orders right in front of my eyes. Disappointing.
