The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Asian food

Ordered a take away at 7.12 pm today 27/04/24. States an hour for delivery. Rang at 8.35pm. I was told it had just left, and would be 10 minutes. Okay that’s fair enough, still early, I thought to myself. 9.05 pm still waiting, so rang up and cancelled 😡 Alas I will not be giving them my custom. 2 hours to long to wait, and I don’t like been lied to.

I used to live in Portsmouth but moved away eight years ago, and I remember coming here a long time ago. We ordered king prawn fried rice, mushroom chow mien and prawn toast. I can say without doubt this was the worst takeaway I have ever had in my life. The king prawn fried rice did not have any egg in it, it was the consistency of rice pudding, no peas, onions or vegetables, just absolutely disgusting stodgy rice with prawns, it was inedible. The chow mein was bland, underseasoned and very unpleasant. The toast was mediocre but edible. I wouldn’t get food from here again if it was the last place on earth, such a huge disappointment.

My daughter ordered food and as the gentleman ask the name, he then put down the phone. When I called back the gentleman insinuated she was rude though he took her order and didn’t call her rude until she said her name… they are young and arrogant, nothing but money orientated. The food may be good, but their customer service is appalling.

Fresh food and very tasty, hadn’t booked but got seated straight away, staff really lovely and explained a dish or two . Wine was nice , and not a bad price at all. Filling but just right.would definitely go back there again.

Was told that this restaurant was really good. No complaints about the food but had a young Indian Waitress who was just terrible and rude.

Elderly Dad wanted a Chinese takeaway for our Father’s Day picnic in his garden. I found Zengh’s open for lunch on the internet and on our route. We ordered online to collect. On arrival the shop is safely laid out, they expected me and brought the food out right on time. We had almost everything vegetarian on the menu - fresh veg, spicy sauces - made a delightful picnic. Recommended.

We visited Ollie’s for a business lunch with our client and although we did not know it, there had been a problem with our meal. We were happy chatting with our client but the Manager was apologetic that there had been an issue with our meal and the food would be on him! We thanked him very much and when the food came out it was very tasty and the portions huge - incredible value for money. I was then asked if I would like another drink (passion fruit Bellini…delicious) and proceeded to have this and coffees all round. At the end of the meal the Manager again expressed his apologies and said there would be nothing to pay!! Omg what amazing service, above and beyond. Thank you, and as we work opposite all year round you will definitely be seeing us again. Service that you do not see often, but was greatly appreciated today.

Always nice food and friendly service, third visit and never had any problems with anything. Would highly recommend this place.

Had a take away yesterday. Delivery was 15 mins late, an hour in all! Dissapointed with the food, the dishes we nearly all sauce! Just a few pieces of meat in each. Have used them many times but probably not in the future.

The chicken dumpling starter was quite good, though not exceptional. Apart from that, the mains were expensive, not very tasty and had very niggardly meat content. The belly pork was more akin just to bits of bacon, whilst my companion's pork bibimbap had hardly any meat in it at all. Won't go again.

Great food and good staff at reasonable prices. Situated just off the main road through Port Elphinstone. Would eat here again.

First time trying Thai Tiger and we will 100% be back! The food was wonderful and tasty, specia mention for the Panang curry, weeping tiger steak, the pad kee now and also chilli beef. It was all so flavoursome and very reasonable. The restaurant was sadly empty when we were there but I have no idea why as the place is a hidden gem!

Ordered a takeaway to be delivered. 1 and a half hours later still not here so rang them for an update. Was told they had made a mistake and not put our order through ( although money had been taken from my partners card. Was assured our food would be with us in the next 15 mins and we would be receiving free items for the inconvenience but then came 30mins later after giving directions to the delivery driver. Food took a total of 2 hrs to come, chips were dry and no free items. Partner called up to complain and was met with attitude. Used this plane for years but has gone seriously downhill with new owners. Will not use again.

Vaya. Tomé el Pad Kee Chicken. Tan fresco y sabroso y una muy buena patada a ella. Los mejores fideos que he probado en mucho tiempo. Sin duda recomiendo 👌
