Baw in Barnet

Excelente comida, los dos teníamos platos de fideos y pensamos 5 * Servicio amable también. Este no es un lugar para quedarse, pero si viviera localmente sería un asiduo. Toca puntos de Wagamama y su calaña.

Vaya. Tomé el Pad Kee Chicken. Tan fresco y sabroso y una muy buena patada a ella. Los mejores fideos que he probado en mucho tiempo. Sin duda recomiendo 👌

I did a take away on 14/2/24. I ordered around 7pm delivered 8.30pm. The Green Thai curry was watery. The container for Garlic Stir Fry which I paid £10 was half full. Shame was looking forward to a good valentines dinner. The owners need to go and see what the competition is offering and improve the quality and quantity otherwise they will not survive. Shame was looking forward to having an alternative Thai restaurant. Will have to stick with my normal one at the moment.

Loved the deliciously tasting south Asian food so much, I returned. Second time round even better. Menu has plenty of non-meat options.

The food: starters nice but main course was ok . Bordering on meh. But I was less than happy having finished the main to be presented with the bill at 10 pm. When we arrived at 9pm I felt they should have warned me they’d close in an hour. Especially as their webpage says 1045, I couldn’t even have coffee!

Appalling food, soggy and generally bad quality - should have gone down to M&S and brought a ready meal, would have been better quality and a fraction of the cost! Waste of time and money.

We’ve only ever had takeaways from Baw before (and been quite pleased with them) but last night we sat down at the restaurant. I’m glad we did. The food and service was really nice. We also loved the relaxed, casual, friendly atmosphere. Will definitely go back.

My friend and I went to Baw three times in person and absolutely loved it! The food is amazing, and the staff is really nice too. We will go back for sure!

We haven’t had Baw for a while and almost forgot how delicious it was. I hate Deliveroo due to multiple bad experiences, so I called the restaurant to order a takeaway. Nothing was too much trouble and when we picked up our food it was hot, fresh and packed full of flavour. Really delicious, we won’t leave it so long next time.

What once was 1 of the better Thai based restaurant has slipped to 1 of the blandest/worst. When it opened it was great, fragrant, flavoursome en then some. Sadly, no more. I had the free papaya salad and the specialty bass fish. The salad was, out of a can (and not the best brand at that) if you ask me. It was less pleasant And less taste then a coleslaw yet that’s what it looked like. The 1 (and only) redeeming factor was the crispy skin on the fish, but a Thai fish dish that is as bland as can be will just not do. I think the fish had seem very little spices apart from salt and pepper (where is the almost overpoweringly yummy cilantro?). Staff was almost oblivious to me being there and preferred to talk amongst each other. I saw them drinking some water and I was almost jealous as they took ages to ask my order and before I got my bottle of water. And no, it wasn’t busy, at least not people sitting down. Someone else sat down as they wanted a meal and they even decided to ask for a take away menu and leave! On paying I wasn’t asked how it was, if I enjoyed it or anything, but when I shared my experience there seemed to be very little interest or even apologies. I asked if the manager wasn’t around …apparently on holiday till next week. So no one cares until then?! Really?! I guess the accountants have come in and reduced cost on anything that makes food yummy or staff care. What shame.

We waited 90 minutes for our food. They said the reason for the delays was the restaurant was busy however there was only 2 other tables in there . They care more about getting delivery orders out then pleasing restaurant guests. They didn’t put the drinks order through so we asked five times for our drinks. My friends food came an hour before mine and my other friends so she ended up eating cold food as she waited an hour and until ours came. When we said the food should come together they said ‘ that’s how the chef does it’. No apology or offer of taking anything off our bill. They even had the audacity to say we had to leave the table for the next party when we will still drinking and eating due to them bringing everything out 90 minutes late!

We had yet another takeaway from BAW and it never fails to disappoint. We can’t speak highly enough of this place!

Pleasant atmosphere, polite service, tasty food! Even though I dined alone, everything was delightful.

I have ordered from BAW cafe several times and they never fail to disappoint. Their food is very tasty, and I’m especially addicted to their spring rolls!

Ordered a takeaway from here a couple of times and both times did not disappoint! Tasty, fresh, reasonable price, good portions, friendly and quick service. I’m new to the area and this has quickly become my go to takeaway. Would like to eat in too. The juices are so nice too!

Amazing restaurant, fresh tasty food, excellent friendly service can't recommend this restaurant enough. As a family we visit here once a week for lunch my parents are elderly and we still haven't ventured inside after covid but it doesn't matter because the heaters are put on for us, we are made so welcome by the manager/waiter he's become a friend. The food is always piping hot,fresh and so tasty. We have even started to have takeaways too and the quality is exactly the same. Highly recommend. Victoria Dowling.
