The best restaurants serving American food in England

Really disappointed. Booked for a birthday meal. Tilgate one has always been spot on. Requested table with space for buggy - this didn’t happen. Staff kept knocking our buggy with our baby in it when they walked past. Our food came up cold, sent back, replaced cold items but not whole main which meant original items were cold. Drinks came up incorrect, incorrect items on the bill, hard to get hold of a member of staff each time. Customer service said because I didn’t have a copy of the receipt they can’t action the complaint appropriately- £100 down the drain. Avoid at all costs - ruined birthday.

Visited as we were staying at the nearby Premier Inn. It would appear that this establishment has been closed for some time, and perhaps just reopened as exterior scruffiness matched by the interior. The staff were pleasant enough, but we breakfasted "too early" for the hot buffet to be laid out, as it ," would just get cold " but we could order. We ordered and food arrived, lukewarm, and clearly not freshly cooked. Plus no decaffeinated tea available. How much would a pack of these cost. A very poor experience.

Once again an honest opinion ..food came quickly and looked beaut .. burger meal was enjoyed by my son ..the kids meals where devoured by the little ones .. the gammon meal was OK gammon was a bit tough but rest was OK.. my fish was lovely and a good size the chips a little under cooked but where edible .. I would recommend if you out this way nice spacious place and there is a play area for kids ..sports TV and a pool table

Avoid at all cost. Slow service, terrible food, sent 2 steaks back as not edible and 2 more came back even worse than before. Not high end, not fine dining , not even reasonable for any cost. It was literally the worst meal and experience we have ever had. Still gobsmacked at just how bad this place was considering a world class chefs name is attached to it.

Great place, reasonably priced food, very friendly staff and great service from Ava 😀 They also accept blue light discount which is rare now days.

I really think that Beefeater need to look at themselves and their menu and portion sizes, as they charge top prices and deliver food that is not even on Wetherspoon wave length. At least Wetherspoon give you good food with a drink at good prices!!! Beefeater think they are above spoons and they really are not, in fact below. I went to beefeater Peterborough with my family and ordered fish and chips £17 a portion and when it turned up to our table I had to ask the Manager if we had been given kids portion sizes. My wife counted 8 chips I counted 10 the fish was tiny.. when I questioned this with the manger he said that’s the right portion size .. but I will get you some extra to compensate. This is not the first time Iv been to Beefeater and been very disappointed and it will be the last time I go to another Beefeater again.

Just had another amazing breakfast at The Longwall beefeater Oxford. Sean, what a legend couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly! The food was very good for the price Every time we go we are left satisfied I 100% recommend it if you are visiting or living in the area If you do go ask for Sean

We enjoyed the starters. My fillet grilled chicken burger was disappointing as there was hardly any chicken in it and for more the 18 pounds I expected a bit more chicken! The food overall was rather saltly. A disappointed chocolate fudge cake which had been over heated, was dry and coated with far too much chocolate sauce. Icecream was nice but at nearly 9 pound, I wish I didn't have it. The service was good. The restaurant needs a clean and is tired looking, the windows were filthy.
