Absolutely amazing service by Dylan!!!!! I highly recommend this little brunch place in York, everything was delicious/delightful.

Great little spot ticked out of the way. The staff are always polite, friendly and welcoming to us and our dog. They have a good selection of beers on tap and in cans. The food menu has extensive choice of burgers, sides, mac n cheese, loaded fries and some good veggie options. Regular specials keep it interesting too. We've tried a lot of different things off the menu and all has been great but particularly some of the 'out there' stuff like the Vada Pav and Katsu burgers and the curry and mango chutney loaded fries. Highly recommend

On the way to visit an old acquaintance in Leeds (yes, he is indeed the brother of a mentalist) I stopped off here for some fuel, a scotch egg, an apple pie and a copy of the daily express (it's a good paper). The scotch egg was acceptable but unfortunately didn't break down leading to an afternoon of attic flatulance which smelt like gas. I left my assistant to heat the apple pie thinking this would be a simple task for her but unfortunately when I went to eat it, the pie was hotter than the sun. This has lead me to review her £9500 salary. I was sad to read in the daily express that we are due a killer heatwave and that a certain previous prime minister had been found guilty of hosting a sordid bunga bunga party during the COVID lockdown of 2020. Upon leaving the garage I was granted permission to use the forecourt to turn round so that I didn't have to burn any of the fresh fuel I had just put in the Lexus by driving another mile to the roundabout.

Pedí huevos revueltos con tostadas en cursi un lado de croquetas de patata. El servicio fue muy rápido. Todos los empleados son voluntarios que es increíble, nunca he conocido un café como este. Hay un menú de su preciosa en la diciendo que no son para el beneficio y que el dinero es invertido en salvar vidas. El ambiente era fantástico. Las camareras eran encantadoras. Jared en la barra era encantadora y tuvimos una buena charla con él. El tipo que lo dirige se llama Joel y te puede decir que tiene una verdadera pasión por servir a la gente. . Que salió a ver a la gente y la gente también eran felices con su comida. Tiene una comunidad encantadora que creo que es lo que va. Llegué allí, ya que ha abierto así que era agradable y tranquilo para empezar, pero pronto nos abarrotado. Sólo abre cada par de semanas, pero sin duda volveremos (probablemente por la misma comida de nuevo, era tan delicioso! ) pensé que sería como un salón de té, pero la iglesia de mierda en realidad es una cafetería preciosa, adecuado así mis expectativas fueron excedidas. I took my partner to the York store on our first date. We were made to feel very welcome, and were able to snuggle up in comfort to play some board games and have refreshments. Happy to say we're still going strong, so thanks to all the team for creating a great experience.

Wasn’t going to eat here, however I am so glad we did, quite possibly the nicest burger I have ever had, great ambience, nice beer, will definitely be coming back

Fui a dar un paseo por los Shambles y me encontré con esta pequeña pastelería, compré un pastel de cerdo y pudín negro y fue increíble, me entristece que no seamos locales porque me gustaría una de esas cosas todos los días si lo fuera. Muy recomendable

fantasic food and service well worth going

Everything was great until it came to paying the bill. The card machines UI is very predatory. When you go to pay you have five options. 10%, 15% custom and, a pay whatever button which looks like the “pay with no tip” button which is something like 20% but it doesn’t tell you what percentage it is. Finally there is a no tip button which isn’t disguised as a button. I WARN YOU, IF YOU PAY WITH CARD, PLEASE READ THE MACHINE VERY (!) CAREFULLY. IT IS, LITERALLY, A SCAM. Two of our table of six ended up paying nearly £30 collectively extra, even though we included a tip on the final bill. Disgusting

Me encantó comer el pollo fresco tierno, crujiente caliente y yum. Tuve un parto desde aquí hace un tiempo y eso no fue genial, pero hoy. 9 / 10 Me pareció muy descarado cobrar £ 1. ¡50 por un bote diminuto de ketchup!

Mis amigos y yo vinimos por un entrometido y el dueño me escuchó decir que no me gusta pastel de queso horneado. Había probado una versión linda del tamaño de un bocado pequeño y simplemente no lo sentía, es algo sobre la textura. Insistió en que probara una porción de su euskera quemado, ya que estaba seguro de que cambiaría mi forma de pensar. Era tan suave y delicioso y la base era fabulosa. Gracias por cambiar mi forma de pensar Cheesecake Guy... esperando venir mañana por una porción para llevar a casa para mi marido (o para mí).

Fantástica experiencia, nos alojamos en el hotel y reservamos para la cena. El servicio de principio a fin con Nathan fue brillante. Nathan era tan profesional, pero también muy agradable y honesto, encontró su consejo de comida para estar en el lugar! Tuvimos gambas y lubina seguido de pudines de toffee pegajosos, todo lo cual fue excepcional!

Joel was brilliant and attentive for a bottomless brunch session with colleagues. Thanks to him and the team for a great afternoon where the drinks were flowing and people had a great time.
