Visitado el Viernes Santo. Buen tipo sirviendo.

I thought I would pop in during my holiday because I love cheesecake anyway I got this cupcake size cheesecake very tiny Biscoff on top and a Biscoff biscuit. It was £5 but it was absolutely disgusting. I don't know if I just went in at a wrong time because looking at all the reviews, they're meant to be amazing, but this one was so bad it was hard And I could not eat it. I actually had to throw it in the bin. It was that bad. I'm going to say that the staff were lovely. It was a young man. He was very pleasant but as for the cheesecake not edible at all

This place is AMAZING! Ok, not only are the cheesecakes (yes plural, I tried two flavours!) just incredible...proper, New York style cheesecake which I have missed SO much, but they staff are just SO sweet and welcoming and the branding and vibe of the place just makes it. Made my day stumbling across this place today.

The Cheesecake Guy on York’s Shambles is tantalisingly close to the start of my tours, so it’s impossible for this wand-ering wizard to resist as a post walk-treat! Matt is a cheesecake wizard himself, and conjures up all sorts of flavours - available by the slice or in mini cupcake pots to eat on the go. These are proper New York Cheesecakes too, so expect a rich baked cheesecake on a crunchy biscuit base. My favourites? So hard to choose! The vanilla cheesecake is a classic, and I’ve very much enjoyed the pistachio, red velvet, Oreo, Baileys and so many more. Look out for the seasonal specials too…the pumpkin spice cheesecake in autumn (or fall, to fit the US brand) is truly spellbinding! Planning a wedding? You can even pre-order a bespoke cheesecake in place of a wedding cake. It’s enough to have anyone…in tiers! Absolutely delicious, and perfect for taking back to your hotel if you’re visiting from afar. Magic. The Wizard of York (Wizard Walk of York)

I took my partner to the York store on our first date. We were made to feel very welcome, and were able to snuggle up in comfort to play some board games and have refreshments. Happy to say we're still going strong, so thanks to all the team for creating a great experience.

Great food, was a bit sceptical as the recent reviews about the Mac and cheese were not great. But was pleasantly surprised with the whole meal. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the Mac and cheese was very good. Would highly recommend.

Nothing special at all. Pork belly starter dry and tough. Sirloin steak really poor quality. Tough to cut even on medium cook. Wife's sirloin was incredibly grisly. A very very average meal for an expensive price. Service and staff were good, but the food so poor for the money that we won't be going there again. Much better places in York to spend £90 per head.

The drinks from the bar are good! Plenty of seating. Dog friendly! Sat at a table at Brew York and used the QR code on the table to order from YUZU. They bring it right to your table. The bao was pretty good. Lots of meat! But way overpriced for one bao. The ramen was….bad. Like truly awful. As one reviewer said, they skimp on the broth. I didn’t mind as it tasted terrible and I wanted no more of it. I think they used spaghetti noodles as well. If this is considered good ramen in the UK then I am terrified to try bad ramen. You’d be better off getting Ichiran kits straight from Japan in the post. It would be cheaper and way better testing.
