Mi amigo y yo lo probamos al azar el otro día y fue una de las mejores hamburguesas que he probado. Mi amiga también tomó el desayuno y dijo que era la mejor que había probado. Muy buena calidad de carne. La hamburguesa me llenó durante todo el día también. Propietarios muy amables también

No quiero darle una mala calificación porque nunca llegamos a probar las hamburguesas. Buscamos la camioneta después de ver las increíbles fotos y comentarios aquí. Sin embargo, no pudimos encontrarlo aquí. Entonces llamé al número y el tipo me explicó que se habían mudado a Swansea. ¡Destripado! Pero él fue muy amable y recomendó a Los Moros, que fue excelente. ¡Buena suerte en tu nueva ubicación! Entonces, por lo amable que era y su recomendación, les di una buena calificación.

Well. No pictures because I demolished it! Lovely burger, worth the short wait. Fresh. The meat was perfect. So glad I changed my mind last minute! Opted for burger with pickles and blue cheese.. Wish I had a double decker!

By far the best burger you will ever eat. I'm not even going to write anything else. Just try it yourself.

We made a one and a half hour round trip to York just to buy these burgers. Well worth it. Looking forward to lunch again in a few weeks time. No other burger can compete, and trust me we've tried many.

This is the best burger I have tasted, not one off your burger van burgers that tastes off nothing but grease!! This is how burgers should taste!! Must try and sample one you won't be disappointed. York you are lucky

A trip to the Shambles is always a good trip.... add to that a Heffer Wolfe burger and it couldn’t get better! Prime beef burger, hand made, the best sauce & fresh salad... I’ve never had such a fab tasting burger... 5*****

Absolutely amazing burgers with a brilliant choice of toppings. Locally sourced meat which can be traced back to the farm. Took the family and they all loved them. Will be visiting again.

I’m not a massive burger lover but wow these burgers were nice! great flavours & tasted so fresh! burgers wernt fatty and the sauces were lovely! me & my partner would go back to york just to have a burger!! Lovely!!

Yeah. Hands down the best burger I’ve had in my mouth and I’ve had a lot! Owner Chris is genius and extremely knowledgeable about his product. An absolute gem of a place. Unfortunately I live the other side of the country to enjoy these often but would happily drive 300miles to get one.

After moving here just over a year ago I love York and it’s food scene, but have not managed to find a really good independent burger joint.

Incredible burger using great quality produce and cooked beautifully. Highly recommend a detour to shambles food court to get one!

As this is just around the corner from my studio, we eat these burgers a couple of times per week. The owner is always plesent and his burgers and crazy good. I'd happily kick a child in the shins for one of these burgers right now!

Finally, there's a place to get really tasty, proper burgers in York! I'll definitely be going back for more.

Called past during a shopping trip, very busy, looked and smelt fantastic so had to stop and try. Out of this world, really enjoyed and will be going back.

I saw the sign called heffer Wolfe. Sounded amazing. I usually get disapointed with most foods and expected a standard burger. We got 2 cheesey heffers(I guess it's called that). And OMG it was amazing. The burgers were lovely and juicy, defo made fresh and the buns were so soft. There were pickles on it and a secret sauce. I asked the man working for the recepie and we had a laugh. Such a credit to the company. The food was amazing, oozed flavour. We paid £11 for the both of us and included a drink and a lovely view ! In all we had a fab time and cant wait to go back! Top notch burgers !

Amazing burger from Heffer Wolfe, my new favourite with blue cheese! Definitely recommend if you are popping into the Shambles Food Court. Great friendly service!

The title says it all really. I can't wait to go back to York for another. It's great to see someone really care about the food they serve and it shows in how good the food is here. Also, Heffer Wolffe is perfectly located if you're stuck in the long queue for The shop that must not be named ( the Harry Potter shop)

Visited York with friends and family for the Christmas market and happened to come across this absolute banger. I'm gutted I don't live closer because I'd be there everyday. Best burger ever!

Stopped for a burger with my son. Freshly prepared from locally sourced rare breed beef. Perfectly cooked and served with relish and/or cheese on a toasted bun. Will definitely visit again and would recommend.
