Used to be way better but now it's way overpriced and everything was too salty

Bar tender complaining every time he walked from the bar to the cook area. Said bar tender using hand to keep ice on the scoop to put in glasses (eww). Only sprite, coke or coke 0 as a soft drink. Had a burger with bacon and a vegan pulled mushroom burger, both less than tepid. Ordered the Piri chips and they were tasteless, had to ask for salt as not on the table. Very poor. Totally regretting our choices of venue. Avoid!

Recomendaría a cualquiera que evite este lugar si no quiere malgastar su dinero. Todo es tan básico con un servicio muy lento , teníamos 2 gofres que eran realmente sosos y 2 simulacros - colas ( la pina colada tiene un sabor horrible que apenas conocen para mezclar ingredientes para proporcionar una bebida decente , tardaron edades en llegar después de que tuvimos en los gofres ) había 4 chicas trabajando allí, se podía ver que estaban tan hartos de servir a los clientes sin ánimo de trabajo alguno , ambiente desordenado no limpio y ordenado en absoluto ) . ¡Nunca más!

Angelo was absolutely amazing. Never in our face but always there when we needed something. He never made us feel we were rushed even though the restaurant was busy. Well done Angelo

Came here in the evening for cocktails the food looked amazing and they had great vegan menu we will be back to eat next time.

Went with friends after going to the theatre, bacon was as hard as a rock couldn't eat it, can't give any rating for service as there isn't any, place was almost empty and they don't do table service when eating in, they just shout, it may be suitable for others, but certainly not for me.

This is the second Bar + Block I've eaten at when staying at a premier inn. Honestly the food tastes alright. It's nice. But it is so overpriced for what it is. £18 for a small burger and chips. Really poor value for money. The burger and chips at the Christmas markets actually work out cheaper, bigger portions and were very tasty. Our company has an evening food allowance of £28 and it struggles to cover some of these meals. A waiter said it's because it is apparently higher quality but honestly, I've had the same tasting food for less money at a Brewster pub. Either bring the prices down or up the meal quality, portions and presentation in my opinion. I wouldn't choose to spend my own money here. (Obviously I had eaten half the burger in the photo before taking the photo 😂 it was served that way)

Absolutely great, burgers from another planet and the most polite staff who were very accommodating despite being busy.

We called in around 6.30 on a Monday evening without a booking. They fitted us in and it got really busy. The food was good and the service was nice and friendly, the only let-down was that it didn`t have much of a vibe
