Nice place, good drinks. Lines can be a bit long though that really does vary from day to day. They have both hot and cold drinks, so you can always get something right for the weather :)

The staff made my experience really upsetting. I’d ordered for a warm bubble tea and requested, with the words “please” and “if possible” to make it as hot as possible as I was unwell and travelling far and wanted to ensure the drink stayed hot for a while. I personally didn’t think I asked for too much; but the server then went on to chat about me to the two other staff members that were working there. All three rolled their eyes and made it seem like I was a difficult customer and made me feel really uncomfortable and I was anxious if I did something wrong or ask for a lot? Kindness doesn’t go a long way.. I work as a waitress too and I get service can be frustrating after a long day of work. But this doesn’t excuse making people feel bad for getting something they are paying for, according to their preference. Sadly, I won’t be coming back here because of this experience.

Rude stuff, not good service. I have faced some kind of racist while ordering my food and prioritise other costumer even if it was my turn in the queue. I would definitely never come back

Massive selection of bubble tea on offer. Grateful for the advice given by the gent serving and taking payment at the counter on “popular” options and combinations. Massively enjoyed my fruity based tea; incredibly flavoursome. Nicely sealed so it will not spill; in a cup with a cool looking panda on it! Good fair prices with minimal waiting time.

Fake show of busy shop and long lines, I ordered 2 bubble tea and there were no body in front of me, I waited so long on collection,they didn’t serve me until the line went to cash counter And they keep making the order for the people who came after me but didn’t serve even them.they trying show that they are very busy . Not recommended

This is my favourite bubble tea spot, i always order milk tea with different flavours each time, the service was quite quick aswell.

Personally, I did not enjoy my Mango Bubble Milky drink from Mee Cha. Unfortunately, it did taste poor in its quality and was not as thick as I expected. The straw constantly was getting blocked. Service was great on the other hand and the price was cheap.

The line was long, which is an excellent sign. One of the best Bubble Tea places that I have tasted, so refreshing. Only Hi Guys in Nottingham beats this place. Best though everywhere else.

Fake matcha flavour, poor quality tapioca pearls, and no alternative milks available. Long waiting times, even though I appreciate they move fast. Relatively cheaper than other places, but I'd prefer to pay an extra pound to get a better quality bubble tea.

Oh yeah baby Me cha is my favourite boba spot in Birmingham out of all the ones i have previously been to. It is located at the bottom of the bull ring, its not a store to the side its a lil stal in the middle of the walk way. It can be busy but you never have to wait long as the staff are great and work fast. You can see the menu on a big board and choose boba options, they also sell ice creams and other snacks. Its good coz you can choose if you want caffine in your drink ( black or green tea). There are lots of milk drinks as well as fruit teas. Tapioca pearls, popping pearls and jellys can be your toppings. Tasty drinks my fave is the taro milk drink B) Prices are good you can get a big drink for cheaper then other places.

I’ve been here about 25 times and loved every experience however the last time I came here I unfortunately received poor treatment from two of the Asian female staff. I had all the stamps on my card to claim, and when I handed it over they started pointing and laughing at it? Very unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour. It’s safe to say that I haven’t been back there since, really disappointed since it was one of my favourite places. Fruit drinks are delicious, milk ones not so much!

Visited Mee Cha twice. Ordered the strawberry milk tea and the passion fruit tea. Their milk teas are okay. The milk they use is a powder milk which gives a little of a weird taste. However their fruit teas are delicious and light. Recommend their teas, not milk teas.

Just wanted to thank the owner for finally changing the straws! I left a review a few weeks ago, unhappy about the straws and lemon tea being super bitter. I havent tried their lemon tea yet.. but i will soon hopefully

I've been going here for years now, always my first stop when visiting the city! I have recommended this to lots of people and they all love the teas just as much as I do.

I've been coming here for around 5 years with my family and the service/drinks has been consistently good however, I had to mark it down based on my terrible experience today with a new member of staff (I haven't seen her in my years coming). She would not accept my fully stamped loyalty card and implied I had forged some of the dates on the loyalty card because "the writing is different" ... I was most likely served by a different member of staff hence why the dates weren't written in the same style !! Left really upset as I was looking forward to my drink. Sorry but I will not be returning.

Nice staff - AMAZING bubble tea with great prices. Love the drink cups and straws to purchase too, and they make great gifts if you know someone who loves bubble tea. They have a loyalty card scheme which is very helpful if you visit regularly.

What a waste of money. I normally go to a different place for bubble tea, but thought to try Meecha as it wasn't far from me. Never again...

I would give 4 stars (see below) but it is the second best place we like to get boba from if we are not close to the first place. You can add as many toppings on the ice cream and the boba drink as seen in pics. You also get a loyalty card that can give you free drinks. The staff have always been great since we’ve been going for years now, this year they made their booth big which is a great improvement, the only reason why I have given 5 stars is due to our experience of going over the years has been always great, and consistent but the last couple of times they have new staff that are not fully trained it seems and quite slow and not very efficient like our past experiences. They just don’t seem confident when creating the drinks, which has let it down but I’m still giving 5 stars as maybe it’s something they working on, finding good staff. We will still keep coming hoping things will be back to normal. I do highly recommend this place if you can’t get to the authentic original place than any other boba place in town.

Disappointing experience today. Had 3 drinks and all 3 were different to usual and did not hit the spot. It’s quite put me off going back!

Very rude woman with glasses serving she wasn’t nice to my boyfriend and she shouldn’t be serving if she has that sort of attitude,getting funny about collecting the bill and saying wait over there rudely. Never coming back and the chai latte bubble tea was nasty and tasted just like sugar.

Great selection of drinks with energetic staff. While I found the chocolate drink to be satisfying, my partner felt the mango was too artificially flavoured and was unsatisfied with the overall experience.

Central location, large menu and good prices compared to other shops in Birmingham

Anywhere you can get a large fruit tea with topping for under £4.50 is a winner in my book and the fact I got it in central Birmingham for £4 made it even better. Got a peach fruit tea with lychee jelly and tapioca pearls which I enjoyed. Also the straws are made with recycled bamboo which meant it didn’t go soggy. Sipped my drink during a 50 minutes train journey and the straw was completely intact. Will definitely try again.

It is in the middle of the bullring in Birmingham city center. Very easy to locate All flavors are so nice In these photos, I had mango flavor, tea, and bubbles in them It was one of the nicest things I had during my stay in Birmingham! I will definitely go again and again

Absolutely exceptional tea and drinks. Not to mention the very friendly and quick service from the staff. I didn't get the guys name but the curly haired lad was extremely helpful when dealing with and helping my autistic sister order and pick out a drink that she'd like.

I’ve been to mee cha twice to try bubble tea for the very first time , tbh I didn’t like it as much I thought I would. I thought it was just me being new to boba but after visiting another shop I realised this one just tasted less like boba *tea* in a way however other things on their menu like the frozen yogurt and sorbet were perfect so keep in mind ^^

This needs to be a shop rather than a food stand. I’d pay there rent by the amount of bubble tea here.

Waiting time to collect the order is almost half an hour sometimes. Would be great if the management could take measures to rectify the problem. However the yoghurts, ice cream and bubble tea deserve five stars

Unusual drink, nice though got a variety of flavours

When we joined the queue it was long, which is good as it shows the quality of the drink is good, but also we worried we would be there for ages. But actually the staff were working so quickly that the queue went down quickly also. We had fruit based bubble tea and it was yummy. My 3 year old twins loved it too and so we bought extra to refrigerate and have the next day. If you’re in the Birmingham area, I’d hit these guys up for sure.

Great flavoured drinks with generous portions. However, my coffee was way to sweet and tasted nothing like coffee.

Well if there’s ever an award for the best bubble tea store, it belongs to these guys. A choice of milkshakes, slushes, bubble teas (fruity and milky) served at your preferred temperature. Not to mention the incredible flavours. Can’t chose what flavoured popping boba or jelly you want? No worries, get MIXED! The staff are incredibly polite, always very quick at their job as I received great service every time. I often tag and share the family run business on my Instagram stories (amyclark.x). Which they then share on their own page. I also have a reusable cup which allows me to get a percentage off my orders each time I go to refill it! Without a doubt, I would suggest going to this amazing store as a quick refreshment while shopping in the Birmingham bullring because you will not be disappointed. For the amazing flavours of China, bought to your doorstep.

Had to queue for ages. After I bought my drink, we waited another 10 minutes, then I accidentally dropped my straw while trying to poke the paper straw into the thick plastic cover. I was told I had to queue all over again and pay 10p because their paper straws are expensive?! Horrible customer service. Won’t be visiting again.

Such a lovely company. I purchased a fruity tea starter kit for my children and they loved it. Beautifully packaged and quick delivery. I have used them three times now and highly recommended.

I ordered myself a Bubble Milk Tea set for my birthday. With Mee Cha being closed at the moment, I miss going and getting my favourite drink in the week. The package came very professionally wrapped, looked very neat and everything was labelled clearly. The individual items were all in sealed packaging to prevent moisture getting inside and for them to last longer. They give you all the quantities you need plus more so you can adjust tour drinks to your personal desired taste. The service given was very good. They emailed me straight after the order to ask about my preferences and it was dispatched straight away , not taking long to arrive at all. Was the perfect treat for my birthday, and the staff made sure it was all packed correctly and looked like a proper gift. Definitely worth every penny paid to make up for the store being closed & for sure I will order another kit from them again. I normally visit the Mee Cha in the Bullring, where they are always giving great service and trying to serve you as quick as they can. Thank you!
