Hard Rock Cafe in Birmingham

Been there several times, sometimes for drinks, sometimes for dinner, sometimes for both! Super friendly staff. Food is really great!

Have a blast at the Hard Rock in Times Square. Dale the bar tender is amazing 👏

Fantastic. What I paid was practically the same as in Seville. Pizza for the daughter, fajitas for my wife and me, two large sodas, two pints of Guinness, cheesecake and brownie with whipped cream, chocolate, and ice cream in a giant cup. The waitress we had (Melissa) earned her tip. I would definitely go back.

Having been to several Hard Rock Cafes, this one was well below the others in terms of both service and food. The burger was okay, but the fries were stingy and the plate was greasy. And the suggestion of tips is overdone given the almost non-existent service.

Definitely a disappointing experience.

Our waitress was lanita the most personable, efficient waitress that has ever worked with me so sweet and always had hustle in her step. The food was good but not for what it was worth. However her service made everything so smooth so I didn’t even think twice about the price.

Food was flavorless, the only lick of flavor in the food was the bacon… the lights went out in the restaurant. Chile… the ghetto. The service was good though.

Food has been medicore at best the last few times I've been there. This last time was the last time. I got the Legendary burger close to around noon before the lunch rush and you could tell that they gave me a burger that's been sitting around. The meat was very dry, way overcooked, and was like charcoal. It was far from legendary in every single way.

Our experience at the Hard Rock Café was fantastic. Although we initially had to wait for a table, we decided to sit at the bar, and the service was excellent. We had burgers and beer, which turned out to be the best meal of the day. The décor, filled with rock 'n' roll memorabilia, really made the experience special. I’ll definitely return when I'm back in New York.

This particular Hard Rock Cafe fell short of my expectations, especially for its location in Times Square. The decor felt dated and tables looked tired and dirty/sticky. The idea of having various staff attending to our needs has never been an issue but this time, felt really impersonal. As for the food, I wasn’t impressed by the quality.

OMG. FIVE STAR BARTENDER What a bartender! I have traveled our country and the world and I love to experience “drinking at the ol’ watering hole”. Dale was fantastic. I always taste bourbon from every state and he turned me onto Iron Smoke. It was truly smooth and delightful. Then he made me an Upstate Smash. Once again it was superb. Dale is the one to ask for. He has knowledge, professionalism, and genuine concern for his customer and his trade.

Messi's sandwich is great...highly recommended...

The bartender Dale makes amazing drinks, very great bartenders and takes care of his customers. His drinks are on fire and he made our night! We will definitely be back when we visit NYC again!

DALE WAS AMAZING!! He wrote down a bunch of recommendations for around NY. Drink was gorgeously made (I got a tropical margarita bc he recommended it) soooo goooodd. Definitely think you should come here if you want good people and good food!

The atmosphere is great, the servers are pleasant, a very good experience!

The location is brilliant, the inside itself is good. We were served by Shane who was very friendly and served us really well. The food was overpriced for what it is. Very basic food. The drinks were very good. When it came to pay the bill I gave Shane my credit card and he took it away from the table. Which I didn't like then he lost my credit card. Granted he did find it in the end but being on holiday that was a panic and distressing. He was very apologetic but this did upset me and I wouldn't return for this reason.

Visited here for the first time and it was a great place to eat, great staff and delicious burgers! Morgan took care of us after the initial girl that showed us to our table seemingly got caught up with other customers. He was really friendly, took time to chat about the restaurant and provided us with great service! The café also has some amazing pieces of rock history which I'm sure you'll find one that you're really stoked about seeing!

As a true HRC fan who can go to an HRC anywhere in the world where possible, we will go, also here at Tines Square again in 2025 (2005 and 2017 too). Chairs are ready (rickety) furnishings remain intact, like almost every HRC.... Service was really bad for the first time. Less interested in the customers. Half listened, this is also why things went wrong at us and at other tables. Didn't feel like “working” much, it seemed. I always reserve online well in advance. Wanted to change the reservation three days in advance to 6 people instead of three. The system indicated this was not possible. Okay, sorry, but fine. But the restaurant was half full and stayed half full. Perhaps due to a lack of staff???? And perhaps that is also the reason why the service was worse. The food was okay but that is still quite positive. No htc quality at all, tasteless. Also a bad one in Milan last summer Experience . Maybe this formula is done??? HRC FLORENCE and HRC Venice were good last summer. But times square no..... Too bad, but unfortunately we returned to our Hard Rock hotel disappointed.

The food was classic, just your basics done fairly well. The service was amazing. We were a very large group, and they handled us with skill, friendliness, and fun.

Me and my boyfriend came here on a gay date night last week and had a wonderful time together! We r from DE and drove up for dinner and a show. We both got burgers and we loved them! Cooked to perfection as well. We sat in a booth and had a great time together! The decor here is unlike any other hard rock I have ever been to. We sat at a booth because tables make u look low class and inferior and submissive. If you don’t wanna get bullied and picked on by me and the frat boys u must sit in a booth. Me and the frat boys will look down on anyone Sitting in a table. Me and my boyfriend will definitely be back here again we had so much fun looking down upon other diners sitting at tables. This is an awesome LGBT friendly restaurant as well! Definitely come check this place out.

In our holidays where there is a Hard Rock Café, for us is a fixed stop for purchasing a souvenir of the place, this time we decided to book dinner. Beautiful environment, excellent dinner, prices not exaggerated for NY! In a great location, practically in Time Square. Advised.

Very noisy and very cold room (several of us ate in jackets because of that). Long wait before getting our table even though we had reserved. Salad with little sauce, cold burger, small quantity of fries and industrial style brownie. Truly a victim of its success. Not worth the price. This place is better as a "museum, exhibition" than a restaurant.

Portions are a bit small and expensive compared to other places we have been but still a cool spot, nice ambiance, good staff. Yummy food! I had a chicken fajita, portions were small but we asked for extra fajita shells and that made us able to stretch out the meal. My fiancé has the same but the half chicken and half steak option. The steak was good he definitely despite being similarly priced (his was a dollar more) he got way more meat with both the chicken and steak. For a drink I had the electric blue (vodka based with blue curaçao). It was good but small and expensive mainly ice. For dessert we had a new york cheesecake which again was small and thin slice and expensive again but still delicious with some strawberry’s on it. The one thing we didn’t like is on the table they have this note that said they don’t force gratuity or service changes but they still expect 18%-20% unless you had bad service which is personally we found this a bit pushy and rude considering it was basic service. They brought the meal, we ate, we left. Nothing executional and we could’ve had pretty much the same experience had we just taken it to go. Overall it’s not a bad place to eat and the food/staff is good. Just expect that since it’s in time square you will overpay for small portions and average service.

Expeditious. Line service. Correct quality but nothing more. In short, there is better for less!

I’ve visited many Hard Rock Cafes around the world and always looked forward to the experience — they’re usually consistently great. Unfortunately, the one at Times Square NYC was a major disappointment. From the start, the atmosphere felt rushed, like the staff just wanted to get rid of us — maybe because we’re teenagers and they assumed we wouldn’t tip much. Our food and drinks arrived quickly, which was a plus, but the burger looked thrown together and unappetizing — nothing like the quality I’m used to at other Hard Rock locations. The fries, on the other hand, were actually very good. Once we finished eating, we were immediately handed the bill. No one checked in during the meal, no one asked if we wanted another drink or dessert — which is usually standard at Hard Rock. And the restaurant wasn’t even busy, so there was no excuse for rushing us out. Then came the surprise on the bill: instead of charging the combo price for the souvenir glass and drink (as advertised), the glass was charged separately. When I pointed this out, the waitress first spent a while arguing why it couldn’t be changed and gave various excuses — before finally correcting it. It felt like they were hoping I wouldn’t notice or bother. Lastly, I understand tipping culture is different in the U.S., but the way it was aggressively pushed — especially after such poor service — was really off-putting. I’ll still visit other Hard Rock Cafes and continue recommending them, but this NYC location is one I definitely wouldn’t suggest.

It was a very good experience to say that I went for dinner, so there was a very good atmosphere and the food was good but nothing out of this world.

What a steak, easily the best I have ever eaten out. The quality of the steaks was outstanding and so was the service from Levon. We decided to treat ourselves on our 40th Wedding Anniversary trip to New York and we were not disappointed. You get what you pay for in life and we most definitely did. Thanks to Levon who looked after us. Do hesitate to visit it’s worth the money and much more

Probably my fifth time here. Easy to get into, hardly ever a wait but don't come here expecting good food. It's ok in pinch when you want to get in and out. Friendly and attentive wait staff.

To the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. What more could you want? It is often busy so make a reservation now, but there was still plenty of room. This is one of (if not the) largest Hard Rock cafes I have been to. Furthermore, an excellent choice of burgers and fries. Or delicious spare ribs. Enjoy a good IPA and of course a New York cheesecake. Highly recommended if you are in New York and want to enjoy the atmosphere and music of the Hard Rock Cafe

I would say overall, my experience was wonderful, mainly because of the bartender that was serving me. He was fantastic. Made sure that I got my drink fast. And made sure my order was in. He also made sure to check in with me regularly. But also spaced my appetizer and my main entrée so I didn’t receive them back to back. The atmosphere was awesome as well. Live music was basically what I was looking for. You should definitely come check out this Hard Rock Cafe, especially when they have live music.

Truly amazing experience! Been dreaming of seeing this in person, and it exceeded my expectations. Vegan burger was absolutely amazing!

Enjoyed the food here and the decor was cool! However, I would advise to avoid here if you suffer with any allergies. We had one person with a peanut allergy and another with a milk, egg & nut allergy. Asked to see if they had an allergy menu, which they unfortunately didn’t despite stating they have allergen information in the small text. Server didn’t particularly reassure us and the manager seemed very unsure when it came to what we could eat. Ultimately ended with one of us choosing not to have food due to feeling too anxious/not reassured on what was available.

Used to like this place, but after today? NEVER coming back!!! Food was whatever, but when it came time to pay, I left a tip — then the waitress came back all rude and basically DEMANDED more tip. Are you serious??? They straight up embarrassed me, my family, and my BABY. Absolutely disgusting behavior. STAY FAR AWAY from this place!!!

The food was excellent, no complaints at all. However, the service was terrible. The waitress was extremely rude to me and my wife. After we paid the full bill and left a fair tip, she came back, showed us our money in a very disrespectful way, and demanded more. We were very embarrassed and felt extremely uncomfortable. It was a very unpleasant experience. We will never return to this place, and we do not recommend it to others because of the way we were treated.

Had a bad experience here. Cold and bad burgers that are way too expensive for what you get. It also took a while to get 1 table in an empty restaurant.

This place is Wow! Did not plan to visit it during my trip to New York, but I'm glad I did . Huge but well organized. A lot of to see, to try and enjoy. I would love to see a live show next time. Defenatly to go place, if you are solo or with company.

Latina was our waitress and she's perfect !! She took really good care of us, she did some riddles with us and she made our visit better ! We had a really good time at Hard Rock café New York.

Decent food. Staff not so much. Reservation at 1930. Finished at 2035. Main was served during the starter being eaten. When i commented during paying, i was asked for 25% or more tip. When i said 10 would suffice due to the outlined poor performance, i was huffed at. So i said no tip works just as well for me. I was then yelled at by the waiter on my way out, for taking the poor service ‘out on him’. Incredible behaviour to say the least.

Amazing restaurant and exceptional service by Lanita made our visit even better. Fast, friendly service, great food and atmosphere.

The burgers were dry, the mac n cheese and chicken overcooked the cheese portion so it was quite unusual, texture-wise. The service was great as the waiters were friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant, but not anything remarkable.

Hard Rock never disappoints, even though it's been years since I've been in one, the location in Time Square was awesome. We didn't have a reservation, walked in and joined the waiting list and enjoyed the store and displays until our table eas ready. Keff was our server, he was very attentive to us and delightful. Enjoyed all the different eras of music and seeing music videos being streamed during dinner was really nice.

The food is good, there is no loss, you can also buy your clothes in the store although they are not cheap.

Got take out, so I can’t speak to the dining experience. Got a kids and a regular order of chicken tenders. The regular portion is $9 more and you get: one more tender, celery, and the same amount of fries as the kids portion. The food quality is fine.

Terrible experience! I waited 40/50 minutes in line, tips were mandatory and the service was horrible. 15 minutes waiting for a drink, 40 minutes for the bill. Very bad.

Hard Rock Cafe was half museum and half dinner. The steak fajita was sucky it was dripping in oil and the veggies were raw. My kids liked their kids meal of chicken fingers and it came with a drink. Have to go online to see kids menu. The desert of hot fudge brownie was enough for 4 people to share. We loved the picture holding it. Overall lived walking around and check out the inside.

The service here is TERRIBLE. Only come if you have a LOT of extra time to waste

The food is good, the personal treatment is very pleasant. I don't give it 5 stars because the air conditioning was on and it was cold, both I and another excuse me told them to take it off and they didn't listen, it was unpleasant, we had to eat with our coats on

Food like in every Hard Rock, tasty and sufficient. Reasonably priced, staff was very friendly. It stalled a bit at the beginning, but once it worked, it worked. We visit the Hard Rock wherever we can and have never been disappointed. Super.

The lady at the bar, Sera, is excellent, experienced, fast and always on hand.

Hard Rock was a fun experience visiting NYC! We were able to get seats at the bar without a wait and Karl and Charli provided great service and friendly. We enjoyed Nachos with Chicken and Guacamole that were tasty and more than enough for a party of two. Karl mixed us up some great cocktails as well. It’s a huge facility and so much Rock N Roll History to see! The enormous lit up Guitar electrifies and the wall of guitars are just a couple of my favorites! When I saw the Guitar Hard Rock signage walking through Time Square I knew it was a must stop while in the city!

One star because I can't not give it one, poorly attended, the place was empty and they wouldn't let us sit in a more central place, with a better view, they placed us behind the bar....

I ordered a hamburger with fronions and pickles, and my friend ordered Nachos without the jalapenos. My burger was not fresh. It tasted like it was cooked hours before. It got cold very quick. Fries were sitting around for a while, and they were disgusting. It was late! Our server was nice and friendly. We didn't complain, because it was late, and honestly, I just won't go back!!

I actually loved this place! Basically a history rock museum packed into a restaurant/bar with high class society. They have live music with live bands performing at the same time as your meal with 30+ waiters and waitresses working simultaneously to provide around the clock service. The food is excellent but I just can’t get around the price. There is also a souvenir shop up top with plenty of merchandise to choose from. When I mentioned a museum, I mean there are literally pieces of history encased in glass panels with inscriptions and titles explaining the history behind it all. Plenty of places to take pictures all around and the scenery is stunning. Talk about high class I mean if you want to dine in alone it’s the best option considering the waiting period if you have people with you who want to dine in. But individuals can sit anywhere at the bar and not have to wait considering the waiting period could be 1-2 hours minimum. They also have a custom dog tag engraving machine where you can add any sort of caption you want to the back as a little reminder of where you went. Steaks are pretty expensive ranging from $40-$60 plus tip (Don’t be cheap. It is a high class restaurant with 30+ years of history).

Ok first of all everything was really good like cmon the customer service was very good 🤌 BUT DO NOT LET THE ATMOSPHERE AND ITS COOL ARTIFACTS FOOL YOU. I ordered the legendary burger and the only thing legendary was that I could even take more than one bite. The meat was as flavorless as my toes on a bad day. Don’t even get me started on the cookies. They were so hard and so obviously store bought. This food was obviously not made with love but made with despair. Would not recommend 2/10

Always love visiting the Hard Rock and this was no different. We visited twice during our stay in NYC, once for drinks at happy hour and once for dinner. The happy hour drinks are great value, but are only available in the bar area and so it doesn’t apply if you’re in the restaurant. It was good though that we could visit just for drinks, even with our two teenage kids. When we ate there, we had really great service from Melissa, who was very friendly and attentive.

Same old HRC, and that’s the best part! Try to sit in Justin’s section. He made the experience better too!
