Fantastic meal! The place is decorated so nicley, theres a warm comfortable atmosphre about the place, The staff are so lovley and welcoming, very pleasant and nice to chat to, the meal was lovley, I had the chargrilled burger and chips, 10/10 couldnt recommend enough, Will be back again!!

I have been coming every week for a year with a group of 10 friends. The food is very good and extremely good value. The service is always very good and prompt. The staff are very friendly and helpful

O'Neill's Harborne’s Happy Hour? Absolute genius. £4.25 drinks from 5–8pm, Monday to Friday—my wallet’s happy, my heart’s happier! 🍻 It's the perfect excuse to call it “hydration” after work. Honestly, it’s the happiest hour of my week… well, 3 hours, but who's counting? Cheers to happiness in a pint glass

The bartender was so helpful and patient. It wasn't too busy. It was 30th December and other places were heaving. They had great deals on lunches with a drink.

Me and my partner went on wednesday for drinks and a lovely lady asked us to participate in quiz night. The quiz was really fun, had such a good laugh and met a lovely new friend. So glad we came, well be back for the quiz!

Well decorated, nicely spaced out, good service both bar and kitchen. Clean amenities, including toilets. Food was pretty good for what we ordered. Thank you O'Neils for the experience, will be happy to come again. And thanks to the two women who served us and the chef also.

We had done a pre-booking and were given a spot close to the stage where there was a live performance for UB40. This Is our third visit to O'Neill Harborne and it never disappoints

Lucy, the waitress, did a good job serving the food for us. She’s polite, friendly and helpful. We enjoy eating our lunch here.

We had a lovely afternoon trip to O’Neill’s yesterday. We were served by Lucy at the bar, we asked for a Bloody Mary which was off menu, but she was happy to make them for us as they had everything needed to make it. We then had some lunch, I had the chicken pie with champ cheese topping which was so tasty, my fiancé had a chicken burger which along with some tasty sides he enjoyed thoroughly. Helen brought our food to us, she was very attentive and friendly. To top it off, the card we were given allows us 10% off on our next trip. We’ll definitely be heading back soon! Management and staff sorted out a booth to watch a Boro game for 6 of us. Couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Recommend in a heartbeat.

También me encantó que la música estaba 'en el fondo' y no sonaba fuerte. Sin duda volvería a visitar : ) He desayunado allí antes, lo cual fue realmente bueno... vergüenza no disponible durante más horas... solo disponible durante 1 hora al principio de la semana y 2 horas más tarde de la semana...

Ate the fish and chips. The fish was superb. Freshly cook and served piping hot. Will definately order it again.

I visited today for a change from my usual pub. When I walked in just after 4pm it was pretty quiet. The male staff member at the bar chose not to respond to my friendly greeting, he just looked at me. So I ordered my drink, no please or thank you from the same staff, in fact it seemed like an effort for him to speak at all. I ordered food on the app with a drink, I had to go fetch the drink myself as it was clear the staff were not going to respond to the order. Again no personality whatsoever from the male bar staff..and no apology for not being bothered to bring my order. My food came after half an hour, the pub was not busy so I'm not sure what took the time. I had pizza, it was ok but nothing special..the staff didn't come over to me to ask if everything was OK with the food, I thought this was standard in most pubs now.. Overall, can you learn your staff some manners, and ask them to actually speak to their customers.. Edited..when i went in again a couple of weeks later things were totally different, staff were lovely, very pleasant, and the food was beaut!! I now visit regularly xx

Helen was so bubbly really friendly aswell as the other staff but she stood out with her personality and how she looked after us One bad thing I will say is it was cold so had to ask for the heating but apart from that I would defo recommend

Went for a breakfast at opening time 11 00 staff friendly and as we were first in service was ok we all had breakfasts and my only complaint was coffee and tea luke warm food was ok and well presentes

The food was of very poor quality, sub-standard pub. Our food and drinks were given to another table and left there without even asking them to confirm it was theirs. They had a live band on Saturday which sounded awful. The toilets were disgustingly dirty and it was not even the end of their opening times.

A girl maddie gave me exceptional service very welcoming would recommend.

We had booked a table for half 4 and it came to 6pm and we had still not managed to order,they had hardly anything that we could have , when we had finally managed to order our food from what they had in, we have a 30 minute wait for our food and when it had come it was disappointing, the double grilled chicken burger had given one of us food poisoning and the chicken was raw and inedible. The only good thing about the Harborne o neills was the manager who was very apologetic and happy to try and help us.

After coming here a few different times I have to say that it is now easily one of my favourite places to come out for drinks and food. The service is always fast and friendly. The food is always great and comes out quickly too. And having live music always tops the night off. Great times every time! 🥳

As somebody who works in hospitality I fully understand that it can be a long day for the guys who work in our industry but today’s behaviour from the guy with long hair and nail polish was atrocious I walked in and before I ordered was told they was closing in 15 mins which was not the issue the issue was the fact the guy grunted as I ordered and then when I was one sip from finishing my pint (10mins later) he walked over and demanded I finished as they are closing the manner in which he delivered this message was rude and unnecessary I had to speak to the manager and as I spoke to the manager the guy stood there throwing his arms up in the air at which point I had to ask him to leave as I was speaking to the manager this guy really needs to rethink if he is hospitality material as in my opinion his actions showed the attitude of a guy who didn’t care about hospitality at all I hope he is in the right industry and hope he is trained to be great but tonight was a real disappointment as it was my first time in since the change over

Sad to say this never made it to a proper Irish bar even on a Saturday late evening early as well bar staff not interested band well I can only say omg never again lead singer was all about himself playlist needs looking at to make the most of a set I wouldn’t return again I have asked about bands coming up staff didn’t know ….how can you have a “Irish bar “ with no Irish band or “associated band “ booked in 🥴

I live in Harborne and have been to O’Neills a few times for food which is great food. The bar staff are normally polite and helpful. My Son and I went up just after 6 for dinner. We asked the girl working behind the bar what time they finished serving food at? She replied “10pm or maybe 9”.We’d made it clear we were there for dinner.So we ordered a drink and sat down. After ordering our second drink around 7.40pm we looked at the menu and went up to order our meals, we were waiting 15+ minutes before any staff turned up (even after us and another customer asking for assistance)! The same young lady appeared and we began ordering our food, to which she said “sorry the kitchen is closed” To say we were fuming isn’t the right word!!! She’d obviously knew we were there for food and knew the kitchen had closed but didn’t have the common sense or decency to tell us. I was especially exhausted after only getting back from holiday the day beforehand. The girl did apologise but it was obvious she didn’t have much common sense and had been left on the bar by herself and I think this may have been her first time working in a bar. There were no managers around at all, or any other staff to be seen inside the pub. We ended up having to walk in the freezing rain to get a takeaway which we could’ve done in the first place!! Maybe a big shake up of staff or better training is needed? As I’ve said some staff are really nice, but a few are ignorant, rude and obviously don’t want to be there. Absolutely disgusted, I’ll be keeping an eye out, hopefully something is done to make customers feel less like they are an inconvenience and more like the customer’s who pay good money to keep the pub open and are given the service we deserve and is advertised on the O’Neills website!! !

Good breakfast especially Irish breakfast, Veggie breakfast also good here. The staff are all friendly and helpful and attentive.

Helen is the greatest barmaid I have ever seen in my life and was very helpfull and made my experience a joyful one .

Love this place. Ever since it opened they have had lots of offers, have been very friendly and helpful. Sue is an absolute star. She always seems to be there and nothing is too much trouble. It just makes the whole experience such a pleasure. A home away from home when you need to just chill for a bit in comfort and the food is fab. Can’t fault this place.

I went into ONeils last Saturday with a couple of friends. I was served by a lovely lad called Louis. He was most helpful especially as I am partially deaf and was very patient. Came for food with my wife, this place never fails to amaze us! The food was 10/10 and the service was brilliant! We did the 5 plates deal and got the king prawns, chicken wings, Guinness BBQ fries, Irish croquets and beef tacos, absolutely beautiful. Chefs were Shane and Emily and we was served by Randall. A friendly, welcoming place with good price drinks and a tempting food menu. The chicken, ham and cheese pie, plus sides went down well with a nice red wine. A venue to be heartily recommended.

Been to the one in town a couple of times, not keen on it and the vibes in there. Me and my sister went here and it was great. Service was quick and all the servers were very friendly and helpful. I always think food is a bit pricey for what it is but would absolutely come here again!

I have to write a review the bar staff are so welcoming Dan and Amy are so lovely to customers Amy had an old gentleman come in and I watched the way she was with him it was patient kind she didn't even know how good she was, Dan always smiling and remembers which whiskey my husband has when you finish work you just need a friendly place and I noticed other night Ollie even had chef whites on day after England final again lovely he is nothing too much trouble as the same with Helen they are a great team and credit to the guys who employed them.
