O'Neill's Harborne in Birmingham

A su llegada, el personal de la puerta denegó la entrada a un miembro de nuestro partido porque era considerado demasiado joven a pesar de tener 25 años , aunque había identificado . Entré y un miembro del personal que conocía fue a buscar al gerente le expliqué la situación y él fue a la puerta y dijo que su identificación ( pasaporte por teléfono no era aceptable ) y el personal de la puerta eran correctos . Así que a menos que uno tenga un pasaporte o permiso de conducir no se puede entrar en estas instalaciones. Nunca vi a nadie más siendo revisado de esta manera.

Came for my daughter’s 21st birthday, all staff went above and beyond for us , always checking in to see if everything was okay with food , drinks etc . Would highly recommend it , for holding a celebration or going to to have social time with friends .

Lovely public house. Food very good and really good value for money. I would feel comfortable having a drink and meal there on my own.

Visited oneils yesterday! The product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time, especially with the front of house staff Louie and sue! This is my go-to place to watch sports in my opinion - the best in town.The ambiance here is always inviting and comfortable.

Irish sports bar that doesn't play Irish sports would be a bit easier to understand if it didn't say it was showing them online asked one of the people working there and he had no clue what gaelic football was or that the all ireland semi final was on wish I had went to an actual irish pub instead of wasting my time and money and missing the semi final the price of the pints didn't help either

Helen on bar was super lovely, came in for some food and drink and she was just really friendly, happy and helpful. Also the chefs working with Helen on the 6th April 2025 were also really on top form, the food was excellent 👌 The guys are owed a bonus and a raise 🙌

Unfriendly staff member behind the bar and over priced drinks

Passed this place numerous times wondering what it was like. Decide to go there & was pleasantly surprised. The decor is lovely, comfortable enough to spend a couple of hours. Food was nice although did have to wait a while for food. On the whole would go back another time

Visited here on St Patrick’s day for some Food, Helen the bar staff was really friendly and helpful introducing us to a couple of offers O’Neill’s had on which she didn’t have to, the good wife ended with a free cocktail and I had a £2 Guinness,L thanks to Helen. The food was really nice also would highly recommend the spice bags they do to share 👍🏼

Fuimos a tomar unas copas durante el rugby de las 6 naciones. No he estado aquí durante muchos años, pero es bueno ver el gran espacio y la variedad de pantallas de televisión. Bonito lugar y sin pasar por alto por la carretera principal.

Love this place, great atmosphere and different seating options, great selection of drinks and decent pub grub. Service is super quick. App option for orders works really well. Sports on and some booths have their own little TVs.

Great venue. Looks fab. Would be 5 stars. However, both gents toilets broken. Last orders at 11. Lights up and music up at 11. Poor. I run a pub and wouldn't dream of destroying the atmosphere without giving 30 minutes drinking up time

Best manager for the job . On the ball and available to meet and greet you. GUINNESS is perfect. His staff have been well chosen. Keep up the good work. We'll done all 10/10. A great place to go. Came in for an after work pint not long before they closed and wasn't rushed out the door. Quite a rare occurrence for most pubs. Big shoutout to the bartender, Louie. You couldn't wish for a more welcoming person. The place is huge, and looks great. Looks like I've found my new post-work pint spot.

O'Neill's Harborne’s Happy Hour? Absolute genius. £4.25 drinks from 5–8pm, Monday to Friday—my wallet’s happy, my heart’s happier! 🍻 It's the perfect excuse to call it “hydration” after work. Honestly, it’s the happiest hour of my week… well, 3 hours, but who's counting? Cheers to happiness in a pint glass

The bartender was so helpful and patient. It wasn't too busy. It was 30th December and other places were heaving. They had great deals on lunches with a drink.

Was served by Daniel, had some amazing food, pub grub done right, and a lovely pint of neck oil, will definitely be coming back!

Me and my partner went on wednesday for drinks and a lovely lady asked us to participate in quiz night. The quiz was really fun, had such a good laugh and met a lovely new friend. So glad we came, well be back for the quiz!

Well decorated, nicely spaced out, good service both bar and kitchen. Clean amenities, including toilets. Food was pretty good for what we ordered. Thank you O'Neils for the experience, will be happy to come again. And thanks to the two women who served us and the chef also.

We had done a pre-booking and were given a spot close to the stage where there was a live performance for UB40. This Is our third visit to O'Neill Harborne and it never disappoints

Lucy, the waitress, did a good job serving the food for us. She’s polite, friendly and helpful. We enjoy eating our lunch here.

We had a lovely afternoon trip to O’Neill’s yesterday. We were served by Lucy at the bar, we asked for a Bloody Mary which was off menu, but she was happy to make them for us as they had everything needed to make it. We then had some lunch, I had the chicken pie with champ cheese topping which was so tasty, my fiancé had a chicken burger which along with some tasty sides he enjoyed thoroughly. Helen brought our food to us, she was very attentive and friendly. To top it off, the card we were given allows us 10% off on our next trip. We’ll definitely be heading back soon! Management and staff sorted out a booth to watch a Boro game for 6 of us. Couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Recommend in a heartbeat.

Visitado para el almuerzo. Buena comida... Personal amable y encantador. Tanto Lucy y Sue eran muy amables, serviciales y se solucionaron muy rápido, un problema que tuve con un vaso. También me encantó que la música estaba 'en el fondo' y no sonaba fuerte. Sin duda volvería a visitar : ) He desayunado allí antes, lo cual fue realmente bueno... vergüenza no disponible durante más horas... solo disponible durante 1 hora al principio de la semana y 2 horas más tarde de la semana...

Tenía el pescado y las patatas fritas, y era simplemente perfecto - masa crujiente, pescado tierno, y las patatas fritas estaban en el lugar! El personal era muy acogedor y atento, registrando la cantidad justa para asegurarse de que teníamos todo lo necesario. Un lugar tan acogedor con un ambiente agradable, por lo que es un favorito fácil para una comida relajada y satisfactoria. Sin duda volveremos pronto!

I visited today for a change from my usual pub. When I walked in just after 4pm it was pretty quiet. The male staff member at the bar chose not to respond to my friendly greeting, he just looked at me. So I ordered my drink, no please or thank you from the same staff, in fact it seemed like an effort for him to speak at all. I ordered food on the app with a drink, I had to go fetch the drink myself as it was clear the staff were not going to respond to the order. Again no personality whatsoever from the male bar staff..and no apology for not being bothered to bring my order. My food came after half an hour, the pub was not busy so I'm not sure what took the time. I had pizza, it was ok but nothing special..the staff didn't come over to me to ask if everything was OK with the food, I thought this was standard in most pubs now.. Overall, can you learn your staff some manners, and ask them to actually speak to their customers.. Edited..when i went in again a couple of weeks later things were totally different, staff were lovely, very pleasant, and the food was beaut!! I now visit regularly xx

Helen was so bubbly really friendly aswell as the other staff but she stood out with her personality and how she looked after us One bad thing I will say is it was cold so had to ask for the heating but apart from that I would defo recommend

Went for a breakfast at opening time 11 00 staff friendly and as we were first in service was ok we all had breakfasts and my only complaint was coffee and tea luke warm food was ok and well presentes

The food was of very poor quality, sub-standard pub. Our food and drinks were given to another table and left there without even asking them to confirm it was theirs. They had a live band on Saturday which sounded awful. The toilets were disgustingly dirty and it was not even the end of their opening times.

Great place to watch football. Never seen more screens anywhere. Evie will always serve you fast. 10/10 recommend
