Great Saturday afternoon of Six Nations rugby at Box. Our reserved table gave a clear view of the screens. Staff were swift to greet us and check that we were happy with the quality of our food- which we absolutely were. Loved the range of cocktails. Would highly recommended.

We arrived at 7:30pm for a football match and there was an empty table. We were there until 7:49pm when a staff member came over to tell us the table was reserved from 7:30 and we had to move. Upon reading the t&c’s on the website I found that tables can only be held for 15 members before being freed up. I challenged the staff on this and they said the wait time is 20 minutes before I showed them the website t&c’s so they either didn’t know their own rules or they were trying to ease my displeasure by lying to me. All I got was an apology. I won’t be coming here again.

Waiting 40 minutes to get served by a clueless guy, worst bar experience I've experienced in over 10 years and got the wrong drinks eventually. Need more staff and people who have a clue absolutely terrible. Saturday 15th 18:30, they gave us the wrong drink so we asked for t replacement and then was given a drink with no alcohol as a replacement £50 for 3 wrong drinks multiple times. The manager dude is a sweetheart though

Place was smaller than it looked in the pictures. Managed to find an unreserved table. Good range of beers and the food was great. However, the manageress came and placed a reserve notice on the table. I checked if anything was free and no other tables available. The whole place was fully booked. It seemed a bit like you have had beer and food but we want the table. It felt a bit uncomfortable so wle left, when we were looking to spend the whole afternoon in there. There was no facility for anybody walking in from the street. Also but probably a minor point. It markets itself as a sports bar but 3/4 of the place was people booked in for bottomless brunches with no interest in the sport. Whilst we were there several couple and groups came and went as tables sat empty with reserved signs on them. It is because of these points that sadly I will not be returning.

Decent venue to watch sports and catch up with friends. We ate breakfast and lunch along with a few drinks. For breakfast i had a sausage, egg and bacon bap. For lunch i ate a burger and chips followed by a brownie, cookie with ice cream. The food was decent. It wasn't busy, so it was easy to hold a conversation. I recommend visiting if you're in the area.

Actually had a stout other than Guinness.

We went to a pub with our friends to celebrate the New Year, dance, have some drinks, and have fun, but the DJ completely ruined the night. The music was terrible, and the DJ kept stopping the music to talk nonsense. He didn’t let us enjoy ourselves at all. It was an absolute disappointment.

Paid the venue a visit while walking around in the city centre today. Asked the general manager for food and drink recommendations, ended up getting some snacks and an on tap cider. The cider was really nice, the food was amazing also, my favourite part was the pizza fondue, definitely would recommend anyone to come here. Will be thinking of this place when I am back home in South Africa.

We booked a bottomless brunch, the pre made drinks are a scam there's next to no alcohol in them if any at all. At one point they poured water out from a prosecco bottle had to ask them to change the bottle. The bar staff are not great at all. The food was decent, but it's more of a club than an actual sports bar.

Took my little boy here to watch the match, great atmosphere, fantastic venue clean and spacious. Waitress Lilly, was so accommodating & helpful, the table we were sitting at was central to the many to screens which made it very loud, Lilly was so helpful & found us a table still visible to the TV’s but not so loud. Thank you you’re a credit to the company going above and beyond. Food was amazing in all highly recommend.

Dear manager , I don’t understand why your bouncer asked me to leave , though still I have not completed my drink ? what wrong I did ? I have also asked the bouncer the reson why he is asking me to leave , but he is speechless. We still not completed our drinks, All I got know from him is - manger told us to ask you to leave the place .. If your family or friend is also in same situation, this is the way you behave ? Please tell the reason what the person did , before adding to leave . Is that your illiteracy? I have asked a police officer on this , why you ppl asked me to leave with such a disrespectful manner. You people are literally mannerless

Very disappointed with the experience. Booked a table specifically to watch the NFL thanksgiving game and all was good until they switched all the tvs but one to other games or the news. The only tv left with the NFL on in our section was behind a pillar which made it quite difficult to see. Ordering was also a nightmare as every table was meant to have a QR code but ours was missing meaning we had to order at the bar which wouldn’t have been too bad if not for the fact the bar was nearly impossible to get to through the crowd of people. When we finally managed to get some food the plates were left on the table for over two hours and even worse when the plates were collected the glasses were left behind which stayed on the table until we left the establishment. Overall the experience was disappointing and we left wondering if there was even any staff on shift at all.

Came here in the evening for cocktails the food looked amazing and they had great vegan menu we will be back to eat next time.

Don't bother for watching NFL games. I saw on their socials they were showing the Steelers vs. Ravens game and I quoted that we wanted to watch it in the booking, they sat us on a table for 2 in the main area with loads of screens at 17:45, I waited until 18:00 and was confused as to why they hadn't put the game on, I asked the staff who seemed confused about the question before they said they were putting the NFL on on one screen, only viewable by an occupied table, and it was Redzone, I raised the issue with the staff and explained this was why I'd booked the table in the first place, they then said they'd ask the people playing Shuffleboard if they wouldn't mind the game being on in that area, the area with all the NFL jerseys and posters up, and thankfully they said yes. However it then took the staff a while to put the game on and at one point even changed it back to the England vs. Ireland football game (just in time for a corner) which was on on every other screen and I had to go and ask for the channel to be changed again. Massive shame as it was a great venue and the staff seemed helpful for everything not sports related.

Limited and rather boring food choice. Good drink options, nice place to watch the rugby.

It's not sure if it's a nightclub or a sports bar. After getting the management to raise the disco lighting flashing in my eyes in the first half they made sure to lower it again at half time so I had to ask again. Chips were cold. Sent back. Staff were neither unfriendly or friendly. Lots of screens but none where I was seated that I'd want to watch another game on. Go if you like sensory overload

Was looked after by Angela. AMAZING SERVICE!! Me and my friend went for bottomless brunch and she just kept us topped up on drinks and reminded us of our time limit. The food was really nice definitely recommend. Cant wait to come again

Went for bottomless brunch. Area they do this was lovely and away from the crowds downstairs. Found service a little delayed (was very busy). Food was the best bit! Steak fries were amazing.

Great atmosphere for games and the Thursday bandeoke nights are lots of fun. My friends and I frequent this place and it never disappoints. The food is great. The 2-4-1 cocktails are great value.

At the bar in Brindley place at 6pm full of 7 year olds jumping around .. absolutely disgusting absolute joke.

Far too noisy for my liking, bar table service is hit and miss. Using the bar code scanner is also hit and miss. So if you like sport and happy to just watch and listen it's fine, do not try to have a conversation whilst football on!

Reet was an AMAZING host, she was so vibrant and lovely followed by Cameron who was SO gracious and welcoming. Kari was SO warm and welcoming. The staff here are AMAZING highly welcoming would go again 10/10.

Fast food service and nice cocktails

A place where they would rather customers order using their app or barcode on the table than take food orders at the bar. A sign of the times but takes away from the restaurant experience. Food was good but it all was a bit clinical which I suppose fast food is supposed to be. The staff were friendly enough but not really my kind of place to eat. If you want fast food fast without a real restaurant experience this is the place for you.

Bar staff were a bit preoccupied chatting between themselves loudly rather than interacting and keeping a customer feeling welcome. Especially after spending a good amount on cocktails. Staff drinking at the bar after shift. Felt like you were interrupting a party just to order as a patron. Cocktails were ok at 2 for 1 all day. But still think the staff arnt the most friendly or professional.

The box is the place to be in Birmingham. Great beers and shuffle board is amazing!! And the staff (aka Alison) was amazing! So friendly and happy. I will 100% come back. Must go in Birmingham.

After having my taste buds offended at Cayote Ugly with the worst ever mojito we stumbled across Box. Caprice made an exceptional mojito after listening to my recent experience and smashed together an amazing pina colada for the wife. Thank you for redeeming Birmingham!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤️❤️ I know it’s busy cos England are playing but not happy that I struggled down to the kitchen to order food. Came with a banned product due to religious reasons so I asked for exchange but they would not do it and wanted to charge me again for another meal. Unfair really as the staff upstairs refused to serve food got no burger in the end 😢

Nestled in the heart of brindley place. This Birmingham Broadstreet bar is the personification of class and elegance. We came to watch the olympics and we were not disappointed. Allison took care of us from the moment we walked in up until we left. We need more managers like her in Birmingham, care, love and attention from start to finish. If you want a good time and a good drink in Birmingham, head to the box, Alison will definitely take care of you. :) ♥️

Vibe, food and alcohol are amazing. Staff lacks common sense, autonomy and an understanding of how to make a customer want to come back.

The food was just okay. It was served in a decent amount of time and with a nice range of sauces and even wipes brought to the table. Music inside was too loud for a lunchtime bite to eat, could not hear the chap at the bar.

Brilliant venue for karaoke and general revelling - highly recommend

Great venue, good food. Only downside is that for a sports bar they have really struggled to get sport right on a couple of my visits. Carabao cup final they didn't have commentary in our area for half the game and couldn't show the Wolves game beforehand. Last day of the Premier league we had to ask several times just to show both games. Latest visit for the Scotland vs Germany game was, however, excellent!

Decent hot dog and great bar for sports. Plenty of seating with great views of TV screens. Bit pricey for Hot dog and Chips. Think I paid £15 for this but it tasted nice.

Now I only review places that were either amazing or absolutely trash and the service here was so bad I’m disappointed more than angry especially for a newer place. Ordered a lunch burrows chicken burger and wedges. Waited half hour for nothing and everyone had finished eating. I get brought a burrows burger that was in fact beef. Went to return it only to be told that a chicken burger was already brought out and no one claimed it? So then why did I get a random ‘chicken’ burger half hour later? They then offered to get me a new burger but I needed to go back to work so asked for a refund. I waited another 5 minutes to be handed back cash for an initial card payment. I would have refused it had I been in the mood for another dispute and waiting another 10 minutes. My glass was also chipped and also cba asking for a new one. Another person in our group was overcharged for wedges that were meant to be an upgrade not a full side. 2/10 get better at running a bar

We had the 2-4-1 £12.95 watermelon and pear punch. One of the worst cocktails I have had, artificial flavour and couldn’t tell if there was gin in it.

Went to Box for the first time for England game and I was concerned it would be rammed and difficult. It was anything but; the staff were very pro active and on top with our pre booked table and no issues at all with the bar service, very prompt.The atmosphere was suitable for the football without being loutish and the food was delicious

Sunny late spring afternoon stopped here for a late lunch ,decided to sit outside on the terrace adjacent to other businesses and walk ways near the Canal side ,after mulling through the menu decided on the deluxe burger with fries The word deluxe makes you think your getting something good but it has very little to do with this burger meal ,though I can't complain about the food taste ,it was delicious and cooked quite a thick beef patty but the rest well not so good the burger was quite small in diameter & was served in a small brioche bun with The word Box burned pressed to the lid there was a small amount of lettuce underneath ,no side salad and the chips (fries) were equivalent to a child's fast food portion Very basic not very filling and was hungry again within a few hours for £14.95 thought might get a little bit more ,my friend had the same but had gone for the bacon option ,a bit of bacon for £2 more! I fully understand prices can reflect the area your in especially around a city & you expect to pay a little more than you normally would say in your local pub or bar but at the same time you do expect a little bit better portion size for your money Between the two of us with a couple of drinks each we'd spent over £50 being a first time visitor I am sure had we explored more we'd have got better value for money

The member of staff popped off a cork in my partners face as they opened a prosecco bottle last night. - no apology was received - refused to be given the name of the individual for us to register a complaint. - given a "free" drink for an injury that was inflicted by their members of staff which could have led to a trip to A&E. - witnesses were present and still no apology from staff I find this reaction disgraceful and I would recommend others to spend their money elsewhere on a better service.

Great atmosphere. The service was quick and the cocktails were lovely. The fries and onion rings were delicious despite the portion sizes being small.

Went for a few drinks and games at this venue. Very good atmosphere and service was fairly quick. They have shuffleboard tables at the back of the venue, played a couple of games which was great fun. Overall a good experience.

Place was booked for post work event for a large group. Apparently we could not have a table which meant multiple receipts for expense claims. Food was fine, could have some salad or vegetables/coleslaw to go with all the fried food and pizza

At the risk of sounding like a Karen, the music was way too loud. The loaded fries and the cocktails were good though, and the staff was kind and helpful!

Attended on a Tuesday lunchtime with a friend and arrived to exemplary service. We were served by Carlotta. A genuinely friendly and helpful member of staff who took time between serving customers to talk to us about the venue and the services they offered. The light lunch we ordered was brought out on time and we delicious. Also... Asahi beer in tap, amazing! A very pleasant experience, lovely venue and great staff. I will be spreading the word.

I went here to watch the football with a friend. When we entered, we got told we could sit anywhere that hasn't been reserved and we could use the QR code to order drinks/food. Within about another 5 minutes, we got told we couldn't sit at the table, and had to move (even though it wasn't reserved.). Apparently they needed it for a booking, but they could have told us that earlier. No real apology given. We then tried to order drinks by using the QR code. Failed for both me and my friend. We alerted a member of staff, who went to check. They came back and advised us that it won't be working for our table today. So the two bits of information we received at the start both turned out to be lies. Furthermore, we came especially for the Aston Villa game, like many other people in the place at the time. They decided to have the Liverpool game on instead and they didn't look happy when we asked to change it. All in all, a terrible place. Lies are given by the staff. Customer service is below satisfactory. We didn't end up ordering food from here. I'm glad I've tried the place, as I now know how dreadful it is. Not going to return.

I recently arranged a bit oif a get together for 30 people and part of which I took them to Box in Brindley Place and Manhatta on Temple Street Anna and her team were great, from helping me to arrange both of the nights and area's to host guests, food and pre purchased drinks. The night was a complete hit and it is all thanks to you guys. With the Service being top notch and the food on point I would not hesitste to host furter events at ARC Venues and recommed you guys to my network Thank you so much for all of your help you are amazing PS I recommend The Honey glazed hotwings - ate enough of these and drunk enough beer to feed a small army

Too busy and not at all organised. Despite using the app to order food and drinks the food did not arrive all at the same time and the salt and pepper chicken sharer was brought out and still frozen! I had to go to the bar to ask for them to bring another one which took 35 minutes and everyone else at our table had finished eating. Asked for a manager and no one had a clue where they were so no one could help. I really don't think children should be allowed in the place as when the sport is on there is lots of shouting and swearing. Would not return and would not recommend.

Booked for 2.15 for the Liverpool vs Chelsea cup final and staff couldn’t cope, Asked 5 different people about our reservation and got nothing back from them awful service in which we just had to stand so couldn’t order any food. When you book somewhere weeks in advance you expect the reservation to be fulfilled
