Saw this stall at Portishead Marina, unbelievable sandwich, truly great, was hungry after a 6km run and this was perfect

Amazing and best steak of my life. Service from Luke was amazing and better than any steak place I've been to in the USA. This place is a must visit place when you're in brizzle. Make sure you get all the butters.

Good food but awful woman. We were served by a woman who was cold and rude from the get go, making us feel very unwelcome. I would recommend the food but wouldn't recommend supporting her business- go elsewhere

Had lovely meal at this resteraunt, fantastic service from our friendly waitress Rolla , only visit this resteraunt a couple of times a year when visiting bristol , everything is perfect , ok you do pay more but if you are going to push the boat out I highly recommend this resteraunt, beautiful decor in a beautiful hotel . 5 years ago when I first arrived at Bristol I had my first meal here. It was just different compared to other fish & chips. Boss is definitely a great lad and I hope this restaurant would come back in the future.

Really disappointed after booking for valentines night. We and another couple were the only ones in the restaurant. I was going to have lemon sole but it was off even though it was still marked up on the board. Chose the brie for starter between the two of us. Although it was warm it was still fairly solid in the middle. We were told they had sirloin steak with blue cheese sauce which we both had. The steaks were cooked very well but were full of fat and sinew. The blue cheese sauce only covered about the inch of the steak as there was a tiny jug on the side filled up a third full. It would of been appreciated if as it was such a small jug if it could be filled. The same amount of gravy was served. The really poor aspect of the meal was the service. It wasn't warm or attentive. We chose a bottle of 29.00 malbec. We were given a suggestion of a 70.00 one by the waitress which we found a bit embarrassing. I know it's good for a venue to upsell but perhaps more appropriate was to offer a similar for 10.00 to 15.00 extra not 41.00 extra. After ordering, we waited 15 minutes for our wine. After chasing our waitress we were told that a "new guy had started that day and didn't know what he was doing". The wine was then just dumped on the table with the lid still on. There were no waiting staff in view for most of our meal so it was difficult to complain regarding food and service. We left without paying a tip unfortunately and won't return sadly. It really is a lovely venue but the food and service was lacking for a supposedly special evening.

The most friendly and helpful service I think his name was sanchez (he served me on 16/05 @4pm) such polite and friendly customer service !!

Had an "online" work social function where my employer paid for us to order in food. Decided to try these guys as I have driven past a few times and never been in, and ordered via UberEats. The food was honestly some of the best "burger restaurant" food I've had. I had the You Poker burger. The beef pattie was moist and tasty, the pulled pork was incredible and the sauce was outstanding. I was literally texting my mates as I ate it telling them about it. The cheesy chips were well seasoned, and the cheese was a proper layering of several types of "real cheese", not like the grated stuff you get in kebab shops. Lastly I had the braised beef chilli Mac and Cheese. The box felt like it weighed a kilo or more. The mac and cheese was great, the beef was amazing and the spicy sauce gave it a kick but not so much that it distracted from the flavours. Honestly, I would say it's worth every penny. Can't comment on the premises as I had it delivered, but will be ordering again without a doubt.

I visited Bristol for a weekend and visited many places but this one is very poorly managed (maybe consider change of whoever runs this). This 1 star goes to the management as there is a lot of things that needs to be improved in this place and has a knock off effect on everything else. Visited Sunday morning for breakfast, we made a booking for 10:30, the place was massively understaffed. Because of lack of staff, the waitresses and people making drinks were super busy and couldn’t keep up (definitely not their fault) but they couldn’t provide good customer service due to that. Our coffee drinks arrived about 20-25 mins after our food, and then I found out my coffee was not what I ordered. There was constant flow of people coming in. Bacon pancakes were good, service was slow. We finished food and then coffees arrived. My vegan waffles were pretty average but that wasn’t the issue. This place is very popular and it needs a lot more staff members - because of lack of staff, customers are not happy when mistakes happen and then obviously it affects waiters (I’m sure this place has high staff turnover, I wouldn’t want to work here). As seen on photo, my table and chair was an inch in front of the disabled toilet which I found very grim regardless if the toilet was in use or not. This table should be for one person only and not for two. None of the above is staff members fault, they are trying their best but this is the only food place in Bristol that needs heavy management changes as clearly it needs works. Sadly we will not be returning here. I highly recommend “be natural cafe” in the market hall, their breakfast was 1000% better.

I came the other day with a couple friends after work, Friday I think, and was pleasantly surprised! Cocktails were top notch and service was excellent, I had a lovely chat with one of the bartenders called Freddie I think and he made me feel very welcome. 5 stars Revolution, will deffo come again 🙌

The standard but still terrible. Premier inn breakfast buffet they do is tired, boring, bland and cold.

Waiters know their steak, but not sure the food is quite at the price. Portion sizes not incredible.
