Had a lovely meal there. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. Our server Priyan made the evening even more enjoyable!

Second time dining here and love the food, great service - thank you Eszter. First time - tried the calamari appetizer, filet mignon and variable sides, all well prepared and flavourful. Second time tried 12oz Ribeye, scallops appetizer was fresh, and again very quick and friendly service from Eszter.

Great food and service, although the restaurant was very busy I would still recommend.

Just had to revisit again so soon this time for our evening dinner. Our waiter was Priyan and he was outstanding. Great service and food also outstanding. This time we had the rib eye cooked to perfection by chef Scott again. Fantastic steak. Will definitely be revisiting again soon.

I had 30-day aged medium cooked ribeye, which i would recommend. The plate could’ve been warmer and bigger size for easier cut. Service was really good. The waiter, I remember the name is Pri, knew the menu well, helped to order other dishes matching my steak.

Great evening, Bart was an attentive and friendly server. The food cooked by Scott was excellent. We had a good evening and will visit again.

We had booked a table which I would advise and busy. Our waiter was Priyan who was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Our food arrived just right with breaks between each course. Two of us had steaks which Chef Scott cooked to perfection. We are hoping to revisit on our return to Bristol.

Very freindly reception. Beautiful ambience and stunning restaurant. The service was 10/10 our waiter Bart was very attentive and accommodating. Compliments to the chef Scott who made our filet steaks to perfection. The food was excellent, starter, main and desert. Highly recommend eating here and will most definitely be returning very soon.

Very friendly welcoming ambiance! Excellent service from Esther! The salad was good especially with hallumoi. Sour dough bread was disappointing, massive chunks that were not that fresh. A few fresh slices would be better! Great wine options by the glass, overall a relaxing enjoyable experience!

Really nice good food and ambient... However the restroom is too far away and waiting staff sometimes forget certain items of your ordered meal. Dessert i chose was stated for 2 people but definitely not was not suitable for 2 people, only the 1. Also vegan variety not so much available.

Tables far too close together for a premium dinning experience. Basically cramming in as many people as possible without the thought of giving the customer a thought. Until this is remedied I couldn’t recommend or return to this restaurant.

I just had their buffet breakfast this morning and it did not disappoint. A special thanks to Chef Nawaz for a heart made and delicious omelette!

Brilliant meal. Steak was perfectly cooked. We went for the Butcher's Block and it was so much meat and delicious. Great wine too, and our server Amber was so lovely, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a visit.

Saturday evening and this place was hopping! A small wait when we arrived, but they were busy. We had pre-booked a table for six people, there was no problem that we ended up being only five. Our order was taken and drinks arrived. Soon after the food started coming and it was excellent. I shared a £100 cote de boeuf package which was excellent value (steak, sides, lobster tail, mac and cheese, wine). The bill came promptly and we were on our way back to our backgammon tournament!

Ty bought me a 8oz rump steak to my room, greatly and efficiently, with a nice smile! Such a smart young lad with amazing mannerisms, unfortunately couldn't tip him but was asked to leave a review, thanks Ty👍 will order next Sunday again.

Dear Miller & Carter Bristol City team, Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback on our recent visit. When we arrived to be seated, the staff member seemed unaware of my prior request for a table by the window, which I had specifically requested during the online reservation. Additionally, this dinner was intended as a celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary, which I had also mentioned in the reservation, but it appeared that these details had not been noted. Upon being seated, the staff member mentioned that, due to the high number of guests, it would not be appropriate to ask others to move to accommodate us. While I understand the restaurant was busy, I felt this response was not ideal, and I hope this can be improved for future visits. Thank you for considering my feedback, and I appreciate any improvements you might make in this regard. Best regards, Johnny

Lovely restaurant inside the beautiful Royal Marriott Hotel. Service from Priyan and atmosphere was great, food wasn’t the best we’ve had at miller and carter before but still nice.

Wanted to get a table on Saturday 2pm, half of the restaurant was empty. Waiting time was 30 mins just to get a table. Sadly place is understaffed so we decided to go somewhere else. Definitely different standards compared to London’s miller and carter

Sabina and the cooks took great care of us at breakfast while we stayed at the Bristol Marriott for the week. Sabina was very attentive to our table and always asked if she could get anything else for us. Don’t forget the omelette bar - the chefs did a great job!!

Bart was a great waiter, quick service and attentive without being intrusive. Excellent wine recommendation. Scott amended our order to cook it just as we liked, well presented. Reasonably priced for a city centre restaurant. I would recommend.

we struggle greatly as a family to eat out, with new allergens as a mum with two children. But whilst staying in the Marriott we had to have a meal out, and we had a brilliant evening. Steak so perfectly cooked and the service was superb. Thank you Tanvi & Scott

James was great, from the minute he took our drink order to suggesting meals ( very good choices). Ambiance for first class, food cooked to perfection, decent serves, and came out hot. Very lovely staff. Nawaz who cooked me an omelette at breakfast went above and beyond and brought me my food to the table which after three weeks staying at hotel he was the first to show that this hotel is at another level. My only gripe is the slow checking in time to breakfast, to have someone check you in then show you your table, then put your coffee order in is very inefficient as the Q of people building up is not what you want first thing in the morning. We are very capable of seeing ourselves to tables and ordering our own coffee. Time to move on.

I came here with family a couple weeks ago, the food was brilliant but even more so.. the service was outstanding! We had a server called Georgia and she was amazing. She was kind and polite, paid attention to all of our needs and overall was a great server. I have never received such great service anywhere before and I will absolutely be back.

I recently dined at Miller & Carter, and I can’t say enough good things! The food was incredible—every dish was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The highlight was the burger; it was so tender and expertly prepared that I doubt I could recreate it at home. Truly next-level quality! Special shout-out to our waiter, Priyan, who made the evening even more memorable. He was kind, attentive, and went above and beyond by surprising my partner with a beautifully presented dessert, complete with candles, for her birthday. Priyan’s thoughtfulness made the dinner unforgettable and so special. Thank you for such an amazing experience. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Myself and my partner came here for our 3rd anniversary, the food was so delicious! We had Priyan as our server, and his service was second to none. He explained everything so very well and made everything so worth coming for. The man deserves a raise!!

We were greeted by Ellis and shown to our table. He was great, gave advice about the food on offer and also paired a wine. We took his advice and the food and wine were great. Went for Fillet mignon and I must say it's one of the best I've had in recent years. We decided to have lobster tail but that was a little disappointing, still nice though.

We waited 45 min for drinks. The food was cold and the salad wedge arrived half way through the main. We have visited Miller and Carter for many years with great success but this ruined our whole evening!
