Visited Miller & Carter with my wife this night, we had a lovely evening under the care of Priyan. Food was top notch, every part of the meal was exquisite and we were well looked after by a courteous, well informed staff. Thanks again Pri!

We have been for a breakfast during our stay in Marriott. Food was good and large selection as well. Just a bit surprised that they offered only filtered coffee otherwise you have to pay extra. Service was nice and efficient. Roksana who was serving us was really good

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary at Miller and Carter 23.05.2025 Georgia was our server and she was absolutely faultless! She was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The service is always top tier but Georgia made our visit extra special. All members of staff are amazing at Miller and Carter and we really enjoyed our meal. The food is always delicious and the cocktails are amazing. The atmosphere is also so lovely and you can really just relax for the time that you're there. Thank you so much Georgia and the rest of the lovely team❤️

I had an outstanding experience at this steakhouse, and a big part of that was thanks to our waiter, Nutescu Octavian Alex. From the moment we were seated, Alex was attentive, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He offered excellent recommendations, including the perfect wine pairing for our steaks, and made sure everything was to our liking throughout the meal. The steak itself was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The sides and appetizers were equally impressive, but what really set the evening apart was the warm and seamless service. Alex managed to strike the perfect balance between friendly conversation and professional service, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a top-tier steakhouse experience. And if you get Alex as your server, you're in for a treat.

Absolutely fantastic service. Priyan served us and was so accommodating and lovely. We were celebrating our 5 years together. Priyan brought us out a free celebrations dessert. He was so lovely. Cannot recommend enough.

Had the best cod i think I've ever eaten..renowned for great steaks ..my husband was not disappointed either.. But that cod!! I salute the chef..it was perfection on a plate..cooked just right and crispy skin. Salty but not too much..the veg were not just a thought they were cooked with love and well presented

Had a lovely lunch at Miller & Carter Bristol City Centre. The meal was beautifully prepared and well-balanced. I ordered the salmon, which was perfectly cooked and served with new potatoes, garden peas, green beans, and a rich herb sauce that brought everything together beautifully. Dessert was a standout too—light, creamy profiteroles with a luxuriously smooth dark chocolate sauce and ice cream. A truly satisfying end to the meal. Special thanks to our server Karolina, who was warm, attentive, and made the whole lunch even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Miller & Carter Bristol City Centre to anyone looking for a delicious, well-executed meal in a comfortable and stylish setting.

We enjoyed lunch from fixed price menu. Big portions lovely food. Husband had Tomahawk pork chop cooked beautifully. I had Salmon which was lovely. Friendly service by Octavian. This is our favourite Miller and Carter restaurant . Love the decor.

Had a lovely meal as always! iv been visiting for years and never had a bad experience, the food is delicious and the customer service is outstanding- a special thanks to our waiter bart for making our visit so wonderful!

At first we didn’t feel very welcome because of the rather rude host who told us to come again in 15 minutes because there were no tables available. Just to later have us sit at a table which was already vacant when we first came. But then, luckily, our waiter Priyan really saved the day. He was an outstanding waiter and made sure we had an amazing experience. The quality of the steak was well beyond what you‘d expect in a hotel restaurant. Definitely one of the top 5 steaks I‘ve had so far.

Waited a while to be seated. Once seated has a very attentive server. Asked was everything ok on several occasions. Catered to my dietary needs. Fabulous food would definitely recommend miller and carter.

Lost my Miller and Carter Virginity tonight, absolutely banging food, the place feels luxurious and the service was without doubt the best ive experienced anywhere recently. Our server Rolla in the Mariot hotel resteraunt was really really nice and made me and the mrs feel extra welcome. Recomended 10/10

Its an Excellent restaurant in Bristol city . Yesterday I had a breakfast there with my friend's. We are really delighted for delicious food and quality service. I’d avoid this miller and carter. This one is not very good at all. Sat down on a tiny table, that cannot stay upright. We politely asked if we could take one of the many table of fours around us. He said no I can fix this table. He couldn’t fix it so moved us to another table of 2 behind us. It’s okay. Wait 1 hour for the food to come out. Ordered the butchers block, Fries cold and old. Steaks well done despite being ordered medium. They replaced the steak but didn’t give us the sides back that were in the board ?? We waited a further 25 mins for this. Going back to the table - there was actually nowhere to have our hands / arms as so crowded - we actually dropped a sauce off the edge. Just to summarise , not an ideal place , less than average food. Choose another miller and carter .

Octavian was our server and was brilliant throughout our whole meal. The starters were perfect aswell. Only issue was the steak had lost some temperature from sitting on the pass for a while.

Three of us had a lovely lunch at Miller & Carter a few days ago. The three different main courses were all excellent as were the other accompanying course. All served by our super waiter, Bart. It was my first visit to the restaurant in the Marriot, it was very pleasant. I’ll certainly be visiting again.

Eat at this restaurant at least once or twice a week and it is usually fantastic but for some reason today it was different we walked in and was seen by a waiter walking in only to then stand there for 5 minutes before the same waiter then came over we asked for a table by the window as this is where we usually like to sit and is never a problem but after we asked OCtavian the waiter mumbled under his breath something looked really grumpy and then showed us to a table for two not by the window now surely this is basic hospitality.It was even more annoying for the fact that everyone else before us was offered a table by the window there were 3 empty ones available?.we sat there had a 2 course lunch paid and left and funny enough the 3 tables we could sat on were still empty.I have to say all the other waiters/waitresses and management are great so just goes to show it can take only one to leave a bad impression so well done Otavion as I feel after your grumpy service and hospitality I will probably be leaving it awhile before I return to a restaurant I really enjoy .

My experience at Miller and Carter in Bristol on April 1st was incredibly brilliant. The service from Ila was absolutely amazing, she was very helpful and friendly with me. She made me feel very welcome and satisfied with my first time coming to Miller and Carter. Thank you so much, I will definitely visit again due to the high quality service.

**Miller & Carter – A Steak Experience to Remember** We visited Miller & Carter today as a family of nine, including our three granddaughters, and it was hands-down the best steak meal we’ve ever had. The steaks were cooked to absolute perfection—my medium-rare was sublime, melt-in-the-mouth delicious. Every cut was spot-on, and the quality was exceptional. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with gentle background music creating a relaxed vibe. We never felt rushed, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A huge shout-out to our waitress, Rolla, whose genuine smile and attentiveness from start to finish made us feel so welcome. Portions were generous for both adults and kids—the children’s meals were just as hearty as ours, and we all left fully satisfied and happily full. The average cost was around £40 per person for meals and drinks, which felt like great value for such an outstanding experience. I’m not easily impressed, but Miller & Carter exceeded every expectation. We’ll definitely be back—highly recommend!

Bart - our server - was exceptional. Helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. The food was outstanding. Filet steak (medium), Stilton and white port sauce, wedge with garlic mayonnaise and Camembert mash. All washed down with an Argentinian Malbec. Would recommend you give this M&C a visit.

1st time in this Miller & Carter and would definately go again. Food, service and atmosphere was great. Special mention to Bart who served us very well today. Such a friendly man who made sure my Birthday had a surprise when it came do my dessert. Many thanks to Bart.

Me and my partner came to Miller and Carter for a Sunday lunch and we weren’t disappointed. We were served by James who was super knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some fab recommendations on red wine choices too. Highly recommend their Sunday lunch sharing platter, the amount of food you get for the price is great.

Unfortunately our experienced was ruined due to a frustrated waiter after I tried to get his attention so he could give us the desert menu after our plates were left empty on the table for 45 minutes, the waiter told me not to signal him like that and basically gave me a lecture.. the other waiter luckily saved the situation and gave us free deserts and I gave the longer haired kind waiter a tip.. I hope management see this review and will take note that clearly more staff are required, and secondly to reevaluate how the staff talk to customers, especially when a young child is on the table who is also getting frustrated being almost 9:30pm due to slow service .. I will not be visiting again for obvious reasons.

Non-existent service despite 20 staff walking by you. Much better option down the road. Addition: the pretty petite blonde waitress was very sweet even though she didn't serve us. She exhibited basic hospitality common sense as she walked by and should be promoted to host/manager!

Priyan our server was excellent with putting up with us very fussy lot, very quick service and very funny. All in all he made our visit a very enjoyable experience.
