The best restaurants serving American food in Bristol, City of South West

Better than the Foos we had in Budapest We had a couple of breakfasts and the cabbage dish. They were all superb, filling and great value. Will be going back next weekend (and quite possibly the one after!)

Saw this stall at Portishead Marina, unbelievable sandwich, truly great, was hungry after a 6km run and this was perfect

Very happy I found this restaurant. I had a brilliant time, each dish was incredibly tasty and filling, and the drinks selection was very much to my liking. The general atmosphere was lovely, I’m looking forward to going back

Top 5 burgers ever... and I love a burger. Great burger and excellent chips. Highly recommended. Clifton is a such an exciting part of Bristol and if you find yourself there and fancy an honest burger you won't go far wrong coming here.

Si usted es carnívoro, pescatariano, vegetariano o vegano, tienen una opción para cada uno de ustedes. Tan barato por la cantidad que obtienes y también hacen tratos. Todos los productos son de origen local y las empanadas hechas a mano. Las fichas son las más gruesas de todas. Gran lugar y continuaremos volviendo a sus pop ups!

Gran regalo para los niños, los batidos aquí son deliciosos. Una gran variedad de opciones (¡recomiende el kitkat!).

Sunday lunch, Adam our server was great and did so much for us and knows by far lots of knowledge about the drinks off the top of his head even down to each larger or where something off the menu is from which is always nice to hear, he's definitely an asset to your overall team, patient and definitely introduced us all very well so credit to him as he knows what he's doing. An honest review of the food, We came for a Sunday lunch, all meats cooked perfectly which is great to see. If I had a few niggles, Roast potatoes were nice but all agreed could be more crispy and seasoned up a little more flavour packed on them. Gravy & yorkie was great and tasty. If I had to be really picky the veg however some rock hard large tender stem broccoli stalks and some very small over cooked maybe a little more attention to how the green veggies are prepped/cooked could be taken into consideration so it all cooks nice and evenly, but again this is only constructive feedback . Red cabbage was great and tasted lovely. Brussels spouts were lovely and charred but after a couple of mouthfuls we definitely seemed to be left with a funny unique afterflavour that we couldn't quite seem to pair well or enjoy with our roast, again only our opinion. Desserts were all fantastic. Ambience great. Good service timing. Rest of the staff were lovely too. Sourdough bread was top stuff with that nice salty butter.

Late booking for our sons 20th Birthday. Meeting and greeting was warm and welcoming Offers of water on arrival. Our service for the evening was delivered by Estelle. The offer of Monday night wine was too good to decline. A super starter, elegant main, and delicious dessert to end the evening.. Beautiful background music and lighting, made this a magical Monday night.. A big thank you to Estelle & the team for making our sons 20th birthday a delight.

My daughter chose this place for her birthday, I really enjoyed the steaks , great services , loved every bit of it , would definitely visit again

Good atmosphere and good service. However one of our group of 8 reported the Pie on the specials was a bit chewy inside. No fuss made as server was asking for feedback. Without prompt the meal was removed from the bill! Excellent customer service. Will be back next year

Went for pre show dinner. The food and service were excellent.

We were unfortunate enough to be served by a less than friendly woman. Cold, sharp and unwelcoming. Beer is £6 for small bottle of beer, even by today’s standards, is an absolute joke. I was recommended the moussaka, which seemed like a safe choice for a greek restaurant. It was very disappointing and tasteless, dry meat and zero options to make it vegetarian. My friend ordered the seafood pasta and it was served with frozen seafood, clumped together pasta, dry, waaaaay too spicy (probably to make up for lack of taste) and probably the worst pasta I have eaten. The only thing that was fine, was the vine leaves starter. Quality, price, taste this was a very disappointing dinning experience and personally won’t be eating here again. Especially considering all the other options in Bristol.

Lovely family pub, a great local and the staff are amazing!

5 years ago when I first arrived at Bristol I had my first meal here. It was just different compared to other fish & chips. Boss is definitely a great lad and I hope this restaurant would come back in the future.
