The best restaurants serving American food in Portsmouth South East

Writing this review as conveniently they don't allow reviews of the food on uber eat app. They used to bevgood however the last 2 times we ordered (wagyu Phillips cheesesteak), they basically filled it with onions and a few pieces of wagy scattered with minimal cheese in the bread. It never used to be like thus but has gone downhill. We essentially paid for a brioche bun filled with onions and a few pieces of wagy scattered which I only knew because I looked inside but you can't taste

Stopped in for a coffee and a breakfast roll of bacon and egg. The banging Bass music made me feel glad that I didn’t have a hangover. The coffee was great 10/10 The Bacon and Egg roll not so much, the bacon was microwaved to within an inch of its life and was inedible, making me remove it altogether and make do with an egg roll. The staff all seemed like they were asleep or couldn’t be arsed (not sure which)

Pared back and relaxed, great burger menu includes excellent vegan and vegetarian options. Personable, friendly staff, lovely welcoming place and excellent food and beer... Well worth a visit.

Had the mixed grill, it was brilliant. Staff friendly and helpful.

Food allways great, you can taste that only quality burgers used, polite friendly staff, imaginative and tasty monthly specials, if you to taste quality burgers go to route 66, if your ok with cheap tasting burgers go to micks.

Great for dine-in, take-out, and delivery. Burgers are to-die-for, and the loaded fries are super-indulgent -smothered with a rich, tangy sauce - so, so moreish!

We had a bottomless brunch for 6 booked and one of us was tee total. Our waitress Jess was phenomenal - drinks were kept flowing, she helped with options and was an absolute pleasure. We carried on the festivities and later in the evening there was a hiccup with an order, they sorted it in seconds. They were apologetic, and especially considering how busy it was everyone there was professional and curteous the entire night. That quick bottomless at 3pm ended up finishing at 11pm down to their excellent customer service and the atmosphere created. Really glad we chose here and we'll be back soon

Owner is funny and food is delicious

Turned up at 7pm on Sunday for food and beer and it was closed. It should have been open according to the Web site.

We had a lovely meal here today. Great food as always. It was very quiet and we were given the space to eat at leisure. Removed a couple of stars from service as we had to ask for water twice and plates took a long time to be cleared. But they accommodated all of our requests and had Christmas colouring for our little girl with a Santa letter box.

Had a lovely visit to F&B's ghunwarf. Food was perfectly on time & service was amazing thanks to Anastasia. I had the double bacon cheeseburger and would recommend it! Definitely going back soon.

I loved this place, was my first time and the staff where lovely Ben and Brad made every effort to make our date night lovely as it had been awhile. Food was cooked to perfection so props to the chef that night. The drink are lovely the one with sweet pea is my favourite. Will definitely be back soon

The food was amazing me and my boyfriend came here on a Sunday evening. We booked a table and arrived early, they were ready for us! The service was unbelievable. I have been an assistant manager in a chain restaurant and I would have employed everyone working that evening. I recommend the chi- town fries!

Ordered two strawberry sprinkles and two chocolate eclairs they were divine, our boys loved them friendly helpful staff, and very clean
