The best restaurants serving American food in Brighton and Hove South East

Love the breakfast club! Gri was particularly helpful with allergy/intolerance guidance. I have coeliac but there were lots of options and it's a nice relaxed environment. Dogs welcome too!

Great American diner, amazing milkshake and service.

Pleasant pub with sizeable garden. Lots of beers on but no ale on the hand pumps which was a shame. Worth a visit though.

Absolutely terrible. The manager was awful and kept asking to wait when the restaurant was empty since more than 30min. I do not recommend this restaurant.

I got an amazing service experience here last night, despite being super busy, Ereej was super friendly and helpful and she was recommending to me what flavours I should get. The ice cream was one of the best I’ve had in Brighton

Used to be a great cheap eats, however as prices have gone up the quality hasn’t much improved. Is still fine but nothing to shout about anymore

We have been to 7Bone in Hove numerous times and have always absolutely loved it; food and service was amazing. Visited the new 7Bone in Brighton yesterday and was disappointed. It was self order (which is usually fine but couldn’t get internet connection and system kept lagging) which seemed odd when there were 3 members of staff who could have taken the order in 1/3 of the time. Burger looked (and was) unappetising… hardly any flavour and nothing like the burgers previously had a Hove :( the place itself looked in desperate need of decorating and the toilet (only 1 in use) was horrible. One of our favourite places to visit as a couple, but sadly after yesterday, I don’t think we’ll be going back.

New Management have completely turned this pub around, warm friendly and chatty staff. A lovely little new music venue that actually caters to young and old. They even offer vegan cocktails!!!! Was told by one of the new managers that live music is part of the new image now so will be back for their open mic for sure and their nachos topped off my night.

I don’t usually write reviews but this cafe was particularly excellent. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. My partner and I both wanted to order panini’s but they had ran out earlier in the day. Despite this, the staff did their absolute best to accommodate us and gave us the option to have the filling we wanted with a different kind of bread (bap). The portion size was good and the overall price was really reasonable (especially for that area of Hove). Overall we had a wonderful lunch and will definitely return in the future.

Buena comida, excelente ubicación en el corazón de North Lanes Brighton, personal increíblemente amable, rápido, eficiente y servicial, muy asequible y si no te sentías “fresco” antes de ir (como en joven, de moda, popular “fresco”) que sin duda lo haces para el momento en que te vas después de escuchar la amplia gama de música fresca, comer la comida más descuidada e interactuar con el personal joven y amable cara a cara súper organizado rápido y eficiente! ¡Satisfacen sus necesidades en términos de salsas, bebidas, condimentos incluso antes de darse cuenta! Adam y Ben son geniales y vale la pena su peso en oro administrando el lugar magníficamente y Alicia nos sirvió hoy y era tan encantador que te sentiste como en casa para cuando te sentaste. La actitud es una pequeña cosa que hace una gran diferencia y es una actitud cálida y amigable positiva que se obtiene aquí. ¡Gracias a todos! Una gran experiencia de brunch, así que seguir con el trabajo fantástico! xxx

Has bagelman gone downhill or was it just a bad day? I used to love bagelman when I lived in Brighton (years ago). I am back to visit and had one today… the bagel was so dense and dry (I could barely chew through it!) not a lot of filling or seasoning. Was well disappointed! The staff were nice and coffee was alright.
