Such a hidden gem, food was delicious, really good value and there’s a nhs discount. Very attentive and lovely owner who was incredibly humble, courteous and good at what he does. Heartily recommend a visit!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Baqueano, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. Every dish was packed with authentic Argentina flavors. The wine selection was also impressive, complementing the meal beautifully. Beyond the delicious food, the hospitality truly stood out. The owner’s passion for Argentinean cuisine and culture was contagious, making the experience even more memorable. If you’re looking for a place that serves not just great food but also warmth and authenticity, Baqueano is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

¡No te dejes engañar por el exterior de esta joya! Tuvimos las MEJORES tortitas fuera de la calle de EE.UU. el fin de semana. Estaba ocupado, pero encontramos una mesa. Vale la pena desafiar a la ciudad el fin de semana. Las tortitas eran enormes, esponjosas y sabrosas. Las porciones de huevo revuelto y compota de arándanos eran de muy buen tamaño. Redondeamos el brunch con un batido de fresa que estaba delicioso. Recomiendo encarecidamente como un placer.

Have never been in to Martins in person but have ordered delivery a few times and they never fail. Great burgers, amazing chips!!! I may have to visit now though as have moved out of delivery area sadly and I think about these burgers often!!!

Our Rating: 5 Star Plus! My wife and I visited the Coal Shed Brighton last night to celebrate her birthday and wow, what a celebration it was! We had decided to push the boat out and go for one of the Coal Shed’s premium steak options, but we were a little unsure on what precisely to order as we had never ordered steak by the 100g before! Our server Toby was wonderful, welcoming, charming and incredibly knowledgeable. He guided us through the steak options, including his recommended sizes and cuts based on our appetite and preferences. As I say, we really went for it and chose to share a 700g Chateaubriand (that’s about 24oz) and at £13/100g it cost an eye watering £91 without sides. For us, this means a trip to the Coal Shed will be a very decadent (and rare) treat - but neither of us could describe the steak as anything less than perfect. We had told Toby that we typically enjoy a filet steak cooked medium, and he told us how they recommend a large Chateaubriand be cooked medium-rare, but that if any of the pieces were too rare for us, they would happily put them back on their 500 degrees grill for us (we took Toby up on this for one of the slices). We also ordered sides of Beef Fat Chips and Mac & Cheese. The chips would be the only thing that we were slightly disappointed by, they were perfectly fine chips but they didn’t blow us away like the rest of our experience did. The Coal Shed Mac & Cheese might just be the best Mac & Cheese we have ever had, it was completely scrumptious. While we were waiting for our Steak to be cooked we were offered Bread and Butter, my wife was particularly impressed with how the Coal Shed managed her nut allergy - given that the bread on the menu typically is served with Dukkah which includes nuts. In conclusion we loved our trip to the Coal Shed Brighton, we will definitely be visiting again - it really is a special place for special occasions. Note: We sat in the Bar area, and this was lots of fun, comfortable bench to sit on and the opportunity to people watch as well as enjoy our meal, but the bar tables are small and circular, I would possibly recommend you request a table in the main restaurant if you are planning on ordering lots of side dishes. Parking: Really easy, park in the Brighton Theatre NCP, walk out the back door of the car park, down past Barclays to the street, cross over at the traffic lights and you’re basically at the Coal Shed’s front door.

OMG, where do I even begin?! 😱✨ Breakfast Club is a total DREAM! 🥞🍳 If you haven’t been yet, what are you even doing with your life?? 😩 I’m literally still thinking about the food like… it was that good. 😍 The pancakes? FLUFFY. The eggs? PERFECTION. The bacon? Crispy HEAVEN. 😋🔥 But the BEST part?! Jen’s service!! 🙌👏 She’s like the angel of breakfast – super sweet, super attentive, and made me feel like I was the most important person in the room. 💖 She brought me my coffee with a smile that could cure any bad day ☕😊 and made sure I had everything I needed without even having to ask! Seriously, I would go back just to be served by Jen again. 🥰 If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Definitely my new breakfast spot forever. Can’t wait to come back! 😍🍴 You NEED to check this place out, like, right now. You won’t regret it, I promise. 💯

Made a great experience for my birthday. We struggled to find somewhere to seat 16 people but no.32 were happy to accommodate us. The manager personally called me to help me plan everything from seating arrangements to pre ordering our food so no one would be waiting when we arrived and so the evening went smoothly. The location is great, tucked in to duke street just off of west street, it’s easy to access. They have a cosy balcony upstairs and plenty of seating space. The theming was nice throughout the restaurant and the toilets were clean and in good shape. Personally, I think the menu could do with an expansion, but the food was well presented, flavourful and the prices were fair. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed visiting and would recommend no.32 to anyone considering it. Thank you :)
