Betsy’s in Brighton and Hove

Such a hidden gem, food was delicious, really good value and there’s a nhs discount. Very attentive and lovely owner who was incredibly humble, courteous and good at what he does. Heartily recommend a visit!

The Betsy's guys were so incredibly nice, and the food was amazing. My mum wasn't feeling so good, and they called her a taxi and turned down the music to help her feel less overwhelmed. I think we discombobulated them a bit because of this, so we did have to wait quite some time for our food but when it arrived it was amazing! Literally the best burger & chips I've ever had. I had the veggie burger and I can't remember which one it was but wow it was super. Chips wonderful - brilliantly cooked. I had the skinny ones and my husband had the chunky ones. They did forget about our nachos and were very apologetic, but we were quite glad actually because it meant we could have one of their Mess desserts. Yum. We arrived in the middle of the afternoon and were the only ones in there so there wasn't really an atmosphere as such, but I can imagine it would be a nice hang out for teenagers and young adults. We wish them all the best, they were so nice and the food reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. Thank you for looking after us.

A lovely intimate restaurant on Preston Street. Great service from the staff in the property, fantastic rapport with a welcoming attitude & atmosphere. Drinks & food fairly priced - great quality. Looking forward to seeing how Betsys and the hard working come into their own… bravoooo! Looking forward to my next visit!

What a brilliant little gem Betsy's is! The pizzas for myself and friend were cooked to our personal preferences and beyond perfect and delicious. The vino (Malbec) was on the button. Very friendly attentive service. Superb!! Seriously would say is the best pizza in whole of Brighton. A must visit for anybody local or a visitor to Brighton.

What an amazy place to find! We had a margarita pizza, a goats cheese pizza and a bacon and cheese burger with chunky chips. The best pizza we've ever had. We all sneaked a bit of my husband's burger which was incredible and those chips?? Never had better. Fresh food at reasonable prices for Brighton and very friendly service. Definitely coming back👏👏

Walking up Preston Street by the Brighton seafront we stumbled upon this gem of a cafe. Very tentative and kind staff, nothing was too much to ask :) generous portions and great quality food! highly recommend and will definitely be returning again!

You can tell the chef knows how to work a grill when you see him wearing those black latex gloves they have in the American BBQ videos. Had an amazing burger and fries here, and they had good pizza options, beers and cocktails. Chef was super friendly and accommodating. When in Brighton definitely somewhere to get a nice lunch.

If you amazing food cooked fresh then I highly recommend Betsy's. We were a group of five and had dinner there Saturday night and went back for breakfast Sunday. Tony and Serena are wonderful, we will definitely be returning.

Stumbled across this little gem looking for somewhere to have breakfast. The food was great and good sized portions. The guy was really friendly and welcoming - he also offered tips for parking which was a bonus! Would definitely recommend and will be coming back next time I’m in Brighton!

Visited Brighton while with a friend and we really weren't sure what to eat and stumbled across Betsy's and all I can say is it completed exceeded our expectations. We both settled on burgers and chips (which you do have to order seperately) but everything was cooked to perfection and both the fries and chunky chips were the best, crispiest chips we'd ever tasted! The menu is super with lots of choices to suit everyone so it's a great place to go if your group can't quite decide on one cuisine. The burgers were amazing and great value for price (I think the tab came to just over £30). The portion sizes were much bigger than I had bargained for but Tony (one of the owners) gave us a takeaway box for everything we were unable to finish. The decor is beautiful and it is a very cozy place with great ambience. Betsy's is going to do amazing for itself and I will be back next time I'm in brighton

I love this place! Went in to pick up a pizza and was back two days later for their delicious breakfast. The staff are SO lovely and really went the extra mile for us. They make everything from scratch, and for a really good price. Possibly the best value for money restaurant in the neighbourhood at the moment - I don't know a cheaper place to get a full English around here. Atmosphere is nice and cozy but also modern. Really worth checking out, something a bit different on Preston Street and a great asset to the area.

The staff were so accommodating, made my friend half pizza and half salad as she couldn’t decide. Constantly check we were ok for drinks, affordable prices and a lovely atmosphere.

Very nice restaurant. I have won one of their free meals for two and the food and drinks were amazing. We got a starter , main, dessert and 2 cocktails. Everything was freshly made and tasted amazing. The stuff was so friendly and the atmosphere was really nice. Even tho I didn’t pay for my food the prices were very good as well. I highly recommend this restaurant and I’ll be definitely coming back again.

Had breakfast here when visiting for the weekend, absolutely loved the meal and the service was brilliant, the owner is so polite and friendly. We decided to come back the following day for a Sunday roast, totally amazing and left feeling very full and satisfied, I would highly recommend this lovely little cafe to anyone visiting this lovely city.

Went here on a friend's recommendation. Small, clean, new restaurant offering great burgers (wagyu), great fries (chunky or skinny both good), service friendly and a nice location , and good prices. Will go again (maybe try their wider menu) for best burgers in Brighton.

Called in to this brand new restaurant and was very pleasantly surprised. Menu is interesting and offers some tempting options. The building stands out in the sometimes tatty and gloomy Preston Street. I had the meatball linguini and the house burger, both really excellent. I could have eaten the meatballs all night. Fries were outstanding and the best I have eaten in Brighton, burger was of an extremely high standard. Prices are reasonable, decor is modern and fresh, staff (owners) are super friendly. Good selection of drinks. Highly recommended and I expect this one to be a real success.

After a long journey and checking in to the hotel we stumbled across the quaint restaurant that you could either eat in, pick up or deliver food. We decided to pick our food up and take back. The gentleman that served us was very warm and friendly and the food was fresh, tasty and one of the best pizza’s I have had. We had a great night with amazing food and cocktails at this gorgeous hidden gem. Really friendly staff and atmosphere and the best cheesy garlic bread I’ve tasted. The cocktails were superb - I highly recommend the Betsy’s Bakewell Banger, Modern Gin Fizz and Espresso Martinis. We also had the Sofia and Vegetarian Stonebaked pizzas, Smoky BBQ Wagyu burgers onion rings and fries. It was all so delicious, and great value, we can’t wait to come back and try more.
