Incredible experience. Hefty kebab

We were unhappy at having to wait an hour for our meals last night and received a public dressing down from the chef when we said so. Readers may be pleased to know that food is cooked from scratch but this is not made clear anywhere on the menu or by the waitress when ordering. This place describes itself as a pub, not a fine-dining restaurant. Being publicly humiliated spoiled our experience of the food and we won't be going there again.

The Kings Head Hotel in Holt – a truly special place with character I stayed for one night at The Kings Head Hotel in Holt and I already know I’d love to return. From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere stood out. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel genuinely looked after. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated, with subtle royal accents that reflected the hotel’s name perfectly. The bed was incredibly comfortable and every detail was thoughtfully considered to ensure a relaxing stay. The food was very good and matched the high standard of the rest of the experience. I wholeheartedly recommend The Kings Head Hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and high-quality stay in Holt!

Best food in town specially the chilli sauce yummy

We popped in for a bite to eat yesterday, very dated, service was slow and the food came out in less than 5 minutes which was quite shocking. Both me and my partner ended up with upset stomachs a hour later. I definitely wouldn't recommend it definitely won't go back.

Terrible overpriced long waithing for food food taste not great Sunday Roast really not teasty. Deco needs update. Never going back there again. Not recomended.

Love this hotel have been many times for unday lunch, very good service, wonderful staff Extensive menu, reasonably priced. Now closed for refurbishment.

Good food, reasonable price, food ready super quick

So glad they opened up when they did. Been using one in Bentalls centre up the road that's gone downhill. Food here is always freshly cooked and tastes great. Staff really friendly. Would be 5 stars if you had a card machine to pay with. Definitely use these from now on. Food is great. Now given 5 stars as they now take card

We went today and my son chose my free birthday doughnut. We were served by two very friendly young ladies. On the train home my son went to eat his treat and what a wonderful surprise. Thank you so much, completely unexpected
