Really nice renovation, under great new management. Service impeccable from the owner himself! Burgers, shakes and fries for 5 people were brilliant. We were fasting and he brought 5 meals all out together, hot, fresh and with shakes and drinks! Friendly service with great food. Plus you can park right outside! Our new go to burger joint in Watford. My son, the foodie - double thumbs up!

Ownership has changed a few times... definitely for the better. Burgers are bang on brisket is lovely. Chips too. You wont be disappointed. Space is small, call ahead to confirm seating Mac and cheese wasn't very good.

Took my family of 4 kids and 3 adults. The service was very good, friendly and the food plentiful. Car parking directly opposite. I had the Smoky Boy bbq burger and it was tender, thick and juicy ( a million miles from a McDonald's). Same with the Rosemary Salt, skin on fries - very tasty. I also had an Oreo shake which I loved though it was possibly too filling with the rest of the meal for me but that was my choice. We had the 2 course deal and prices were good. For comparison we were staying in a hotel near Fridays but I wasnt prepared to pay their prices. These guys provided a quality product for much less. Well done Smoky Boys and next time I'm in town I'll definitely drop by.

Best of The Best Burgers in Watford or i can say in whole London. Must try ; my Favourite was smoky chick burgur with Turkey bacon as extra topping. Lovely calm atmosphere; plenty of parking just in front of the restaurant. Hygiene is 5/5. organic soft drinks were topclass plus tasty mocktails. Manager Abhi was very knowledgeable and friendly; i personally recommend ask him if you want any personalization, he will definitely get it done. 5***** star place. Will definitely come back .

The host firstly was amazing, we were really well looked after. The food was all really fresh and presented really well and most of all tasty. Great portion sizes, and the prices were really reasonable. Especially with their set menu options. If I didn't lice so far I would Def visit on a regular basis.

I went back to this place after a few years. Management and ownership has changed and they’ve completely revamped the place. Parking is still on side streets or the main road that offers 1-2 hours parking. Food was amazing! The platter we ordered was good and they check and ask for any allergies too. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

First time back since the refurb. Great deal on the Lunch menu with lots of choices for a main. Fries and a soda or water for under £10. Worth coming to sit in a colourful lively environment and watch North Watford go by. Nice touch on a warmed pottery container for the fries! Smokey Bad Boy's burger has a great kick but might not be for the faint hearted but lots to choose from. Well worth going there but it also available on Uber.

This place is one of the best places.. I can only strongly recommend you try and see for yourself! Lovely and friendly staff and always look after their customers! Great portion sizes! Smoky bacon is my go too.. chicken strips.. be warned can get spicy! I usually post pictures of my food.. but I dived straight in!!

This place was amazing , the aesthetics , the atmosphere , the service was very prompt , very affordable and the staff were so. Polite and respectful especially Myra a server in the Wandsworth branch. Very sweet . I’ll definitely be coming back to it’s my friends. My new favourite spot

I love their burgers (the Smoky Chick in particular), so if I am in Watford, it is not a question where to stop for lunch/dinner, especially that they are one of the few places who stock gluten free buns.

Good recipes, food is nice but the condition of the shop is very bad, the kitchen needs a massive deep clean, grill was dirty and was more of a flat griddle!

It’s okay taste small product food and horrible milkshake , it’s expensive price but it’s not worth to spent it there

Firstly, How can you be stingy over the things that cost you the least? One of the staff was making the portions of chips, another staff is telling him that he was putting too much. The same thing happened with the sauces. It ended up being a very small portion for £3/£4 and the pot of sauce was not even enough to finish those chips. When I commented about this, the staff said they won't make any profit. Secondly, I called up an hour before and asked how long 7 burgers would take and was told it would be 10-15 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later and then waited another 20 minutes for the burgers, so that 10-15 turned into nearly 45 minutes. Probably because I could see them in their very open kitchen that they were putting the burgers on the grill one at a time, and then didn't put the chips in the fryer till all the burgers were done. It wasn't very busy at the time so they should have done better. One of the staff was great but this branch really needs some direction from head office about how to manage the shop better.

I was craving a burger to break fast so went for the £12 burger and fries meal. The burger needs improving, something about it just doesn't have the wow factor. I did go for done instead of medium rare so maybe that's where I went wrong.lukily the chef made me a new one and it was better, the sauce 50p it made the whole meal. The sauce had the most flavour of the whole meal. Also charging a customer over £6 for sauces I thought that was a bit cheeky seeing as it's Ramadan. Overall not the best, but customer service was great. Sauce outstanding Burger dry, no flavour and just not giving me burger vibes. Chips yeah decent.

Service and food was great. The only let down was the stick cutlery. It was difficult eating Steak with disposable sticks. If wasn't possible to cut too. ☹️

Every Positive review on here is fake and written by the owner and friends....some reviews online are complete lies and were even written prior to opening. This place is disgusting! Their meat is cheep, fatty, undercooked and overpriced garbage and tastes really really bad!!! The staff are rude and clueless and generally can't speak English. They sell themselves on "Shakes" which they will charge you £5 for a blob of value ice-cream mixed with milk....This place is designed to maximise profit at the expense of the customer experience. BEWARE DO NOT EAT HERE!

I had ordered from this restaurant for the 1st time using Uber eats. 3 burgers were missing from the order, the restaurant couldn't not send my missing items out and told me that all complaints must go through Uber. Ubers response was pathetic which lead me to order food elsewhere. Didn't receive 3/4 meals, and left out of pocket, terrible experience.

Lovely peri peri chicken wings, nachos and burgers. It’s become one of our favourite restaurants. Customer Service is excellent!Thankyou to Sharif who has always sorted out any issues with our order.

Ordered a takeaway burger today at Kensington branch. Waited forever to get back home qnd see there's a black hair inside the bun! Disgusting! I went back to the place to return it and noticed none of their kitchen staff wear any hair coverings. The person that served my had no clue how to deal with my complaint. There was no manager on site and he shared a mobile number with me to call him myself. On top of this I noticed I got overcharged yet they were unable to issue a refund! The staff told me they are not trained to issue refunds! BTW food hygiene rating hanging on the wall says 5 starts. Not for much longer. Stay away from the place, save yourself stress and go elsewhere.

Very poor experience. Food arrived cold. Lacked flavour. Female Server was extremely rude and aggressive making the whole experience uncomfortable.

Would not recommend at all, over price food without any taste, top of that they charge 50p for small tub of ketchup regardless spent £70 for 4 people ( typical mentality) want to rip off customer any possible way. Customer service is 0 girl behind the counter munching food regardless we are standing there to place order. Never go again.

The food was dry flavourless. It takes one hour to grill a whole chicken. Service is slow and they make you pay for sauces. Shop is too small not a nice place to eat in.

I ordererd tonight and unfortunately the quality isn’t consistent. Today I received 2hauns burger 2hotdogs and a homemade brownie. Great burgers tender patty Hot dogs tasty but lacking sauce inside the bread The brownie was not edible rock hard like biting in a brick. Also the portion of it was non sense for a 4£ brownie

We visited for the first time on Saturday night and really liked this place. Good seating and the customer service was on point. Food was really tasty particularly as it was fresh and hot. We had asked for a burger to be split up for my boys and they had remembered and were very happy to accommodate my multiple requests for the children. A great place to eat and will defo be going back

Went out with friends here tonight. Absolutely delicious fresh food, everything was amazing and the service was outstanding. This restaurant was out of my town but would definitely travel again this far to eat there. Thank you everyone at Smoky Boys x

Stale tasteless burger, £4 for a tiny portion of cold sweet potatoes fries, not impressed

There isn't a slower restaurant in the whole planet, 1:30 hour to cook 2 burgers, the service is so bad that delivery drivers keep refusing because they know how slow they are, shame as the food isn't too bad.

When we ordered, our chips came around an hour after our burgers, the milkshakes were half full and the Mac and cheese was the worst thing I have ever had in my life. Spent £70 for everything it DEFINITELY wasn’t worth it. If I could give it a 0 I would.

absolutely terrible experience here last night. They can’t cope and it seems like the priority is getting food ready for the deliveries! Every table complained and when left looked at us and said ‘good luck’. We waited nearly an hour for the nachos which came out stone cold and then the hot dog and Mac and cheese. The mac and cheese came out with burger cheese for the cheese which had been destroyed in the pinger and the hot dog had been thrown together and looked nothing like the picture. Sent back both the Mac and cheese and the hot dog and got a refund which they didn’t want to do! Understaffed and take no pride in what they serve up. Absolutely horrific and wouldn’t feed it to my dog.

I love this place! The food is always good and they do the best peri peri chicken wings! They've been under new management since December and have stopped serving alcohol now which is an extra bonus. My husband and I have been coming here since they first opened 4 years ago and they never disappoint. Edit: I previously gave this place 5* (comment above), but I have had to change this as I went here recently and although the food is still very nice the service has gone a bit downhill. Don't know if that's related to another change in management. They seem to do very well on take out orders but have forgotten about the dine in experience of customers. The last 2 times I went in to eat I had to wait ages for food and they kept forgetting things, have to keep going up to the till and asking them. It makes for a frustrating dine in experience. You are a dine in restaurant also you need to cater to your dine in customers better.

Very slow service. Ate inside the restaurant which was not even full but they seemed to prioritise deliveroo orders. Food eventually came 45mins later and was cold. Taste was ok but not worth the wait. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed tbh.

Placed an order, the order arrived. Totally the wrong order and was told by the driver this is what we ordered and we should take it. As my wife is allergic to gluten and none of the items were gf i think he was rude and mistaken. Phoned the restaurant had to listen to a flurry of fwords as the driver had screwed up again. The right order arrived but was cold and the seals on the burgers were broken as if someone had went through the order. Absolutely disgusting! If you looking for cold food, rude delivery drivers and wrong and late orders then smokey boys is the place to go!

They forgot to add bacon, the portion size is tiny, it’s so overpriced, you pay extra for fries and get a child sized portion. Burger and fries for two cost £30, looked like £3 worth of food. Terrible. Burgers are size and quality of 99p McDonald’s burger. Awful place.

Was excited because only burger place locally that offered gluten free option. Ordered on Deliveroo then said couldn’t place order. Searched some more and then it was allowing so placed order with Smokey boys. An hour later Deliveroo called to say driver had a breakdown and would replace order. Two hours later I called them abs they said they weren’t able to do it and would refund. Now gone 10pm on a bank holiday and no where open let alone for gf. Angry is an understatement
