Tomahawk steak & mignon butter steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. Mojitos were nice. I definitely recommend this place.

Very slow and poor service. Booked a table 8pm, arrived at 8pm and had to wait for 15 minutes to be seated with very little information about what was happening. Took another 20 minutes until anyone came over to take our order. Drinks took ages to arrive as did the food. The food was okay but not worth the price and included unwanted sides that weren't mentioned anywhere in the menu. No one came to clear up, ask if we wanted dessert/more drinks or the bill, ended up going to the counter to pay. The place wasn't very busy, no reason for such poor service. The place looked cool though.

Took my family for my daughter’s birthday……. Possibly the best meal we’ve had.

Nothing against the people working there, I'm sure they are all great people doing their best. Steak comes with sides, not clear, don't know if charged, didn't care, extremely overpriced to begin with. Medium well was overdone, grey, chewy. Medium rare looked good on the outside, raw in the middle, also chewy, more so than my partner's. We are not fussy when eating out and usually accept what we get and move on. Place was nice looking overall for those who only care about taking pictures and not eating steak.

Recently visited the steakhouse with my husband Lee. We travelled from East London to try best steak in Watford. I must say it is delicious. The restaurant has lovely vibe to enjoy food in fine dining environment. Staff is super helpful when you needed. Easy to approachable. Price is also affordable for food. Must try their burgers.

Not much taste to the steak at all, served covered in chives for some reason. Cold on the inside, warm on the outside.

We went for celebrating meal, was very exited. We was sitting straight away. Then we remained sitting by the table for around 30 minutes- no one paid attention to is. It was Sunday it wasn't busy but there where few full tables. Waiting staff was just focused on cleaning tables , we had to go and ask for menue our selves-. I cant stress enought the Waiting time and ignorance of staff even Manager saw us sitting there and looking at them and waiting someone to come give menu or but nothing. Very disappointed . Got to order and food after asking us selves in almost an hour. Food was delicious but that waiting put us off on ever returning to Boga - told all my friends if you like to wait half hr and search for menu your self yes thats the place. But service was awful 😖 😱

When we asked for them to be removed they started to and then left them for another 15 minutes. We also had to encourage them to offer us dessert! The serves were in chaos - running everywhere. Also the bill was wrong as they added a full bottle of wine rather than the two glasses we had. The food was delicious though - we had the sharing platter.

I got the lamb Beyti. It personally wasn’t to my taste, I ate as much as I could but it was a very big portion. The servers came and interrupted us a lot throughout the meal asking how our food was. One of these times I told them I’m finished and they acted so shocked, asked me to repeat myself and almost mocked me. It was unnecessary and rude.

Great steak at affordable prices

Steak is soft and amazing (medium rare) Had special combos of 2 for 11.50 which were worth the price also...a combo per person.. Would recommend the place for its great meat

So happy and polite staff. Very helpful, explained exactly what was in different things on the menu. Had 54th Wedding anniversary dinner there.

Food was great, the flavour the level of tenderness, everything, but the service… that’s another story. The waiters are very nice and kind, BUT they take over an hour to serve you, I saw many disgruntled customers, some left, some were visibly agitated by the speed of food being served.

Lovely place but the steak i had wasn't amazing, no flame grilled taste that you would expect, just taste like one i cooked at home, rest of the food was ok

Family of 4 visited on a week day for dinner. Fine dine ambiance of the restaurant. High quality beautiful meat on display. Well trained staff at service instantly. Wide range of food menu, versatile drinks menu. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food was fresh, delivered to instructions, tasty. Beef with Mushroom sauce was amazing. Good quality meet. Mock-tails were tasty. One was on house which was very kind. Reasonably priced. 3 mains, one started, two mock-tails cost £80 - £85.

Excellent steak with a ton of flavor! Boga is an excellent restaurant with great service and great taste. Easily recommend to anyone in Watford looking for a solid dinner

I have eaten twice at this restaurant. Really good food and great service. The waiters were knowledgeable and unobtrusive. The food was good quality, well cooked, tender and delicious. A very nice restaurant that I would recommend.

This was my first visit to Boga and I was do impressed. The waiters were lovely. The place was extremely clean and that includes the toilets. The food was brilliant and I had three courses. It is a bit pricey however you get what you pay for. Excellent visit.

Exceptionally good food. Could not recommend this place enough, food is cooked to perfection and tastes unreal. The service is stellar. A must try place, the lamb bbq rib is other worldly, the tacos are amazing starters, and the steak is perfect. Will definitely be a regular date night location.

I was at the restaurant yesterday with my husband, it was the first time I tried steak and hubby had been craving it.. not his first time. Well we felt welcomed, good service from all staff. The steak was really nice than what I thought. Everything was excellent.. now when I hear of steak I can only think of Boga as it was my first time and it was delicious.. will definitely visit another time.

Quiet evening meal on business. Nice restaurant was fairly empty on a Tuesday night. Food excellent - loved the beef tacos and fillet (cooked perfectly) - particularly liked the Turkish vibe on seasoning.

We ordered shared plate with “lokum” and some kababs. I would expect some caramelisation with lokum. That was disappointing. i could have done better at home. Kabab mixed with lamb beef chicken and wings. I have had better kabab before.

Service and atmosphere were very good. The food, I was not happy. Lamb ribs were very hard to chew, maybe old sheep(not lamb at sll), and the chops were quite big so not very easy to grill them. Meet needs more attention. The rest was fine.

Going here i had good expectations of the steak which is really good, full of flavour and soft, however the experience of the service is terrible, me and my partner ordered food and drinks and the food arrived first with no drinks, we was wondering what happened to our mocktails and they forgot we ordered them, the woman who served us lied to us saying it is busy for the bar when it wasn’t, how does two steaks cook faster then two drinks being made? , the drinks eventually arrived after we reminded them, the second lie we received was that there was no fire show available, i wanted to happily pay for the fireshow option that was on the menu but could not due to “no availability”, 20min later a fireshow was happening for someone else who ordered it. The two stars is for the steak which is good. overall bad communication and customer service.

Awful customer service, took an hour for food to arrive. We asked for tap water 3 times and it still never arrived. And they have the audacity to charge 12.5% service charge. My partner and I visited on a Saturday night and there were zero vibes. Customers were literally walking out due to lack of service. On a positive note, the food was delicious but not enough to make us visit again.

Can’t customize the drinks like no raspberry, or egg white, asked for no gherkins still came with them and to fix my drink I got half way through my meal with no water given to my table!

The food was so beautiful. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection and the service here is impeccable. Zeynab (I hope I spelt it right) made our experience 100/10 and I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday and it is definitely not one to forget. I would highly recommend .

We have been here a couple of times before and have never been let down. Generous indoors seating area, well-maintained and elegant. The staff is polite and friendly. We have never made a booking but have never had problems to find a table. The orange fresh juice is delicious and you can tell that it is made of oranges (not artificial). The oysters that we had as a starter were large and tasty. The grilled seabass fillets with vegetable main course was generous and also delicious. The prices are average and the food portions are medium to large. I would recommend this place for either a casual meal or a party.

My advice, avoid, at booking I told the restaurant it was my sons 18th, from the minute we arrived the staff were cold, unfriendly, no atmosphere, the steak was the worst I have had, managed to spend £180 in less than an hour and had to eat somewhere else after, worst experience ever

Toilets had no locks and were very dirty Food was cold Potatoes were raw Chicken ceased salad was horrid chicken was chewy and hard Calamari was chewy Expensive for what it is Staff were friendly and helpful

come here at lunch time, order two sets for lunch, both of them taste very nice. one calamari, pop corn chicken one lamb and one beef kofta come with salad, fries and bread worth the money and wanna try something else next time

Food is nice, that's why we have been there a few times. Unfortunately the service is not, constantly forgot part of your order and the wait staff are not attentive, waiting for them to take your order or even pay the bill a real shame with the prices and the additional exorbitant service charge.

We had the 4 person platter which consisted of 4 small pieces of lokum steak, 6 chops, 6-8 small chicken wings, some chicken and lamb cubes , a small (1-2person) portion of chips, a small (1 person) portion of rice, some flat bread, hummus and Tzaki. The food was nice however overall very expensive (£120 coming to ~£140 with service charge) for what it was and definitely not 4peoples worth of food. In reality 2-3 at a stretch. Service was fine and the restaurant is decorated well.

Excellent service with friendly and attentive staff. Food was great and tasty. Went on a Friday evening, was pleasantly surprised with the entertainment- a belly dancer! Had a Dj come in while we were there who played nice music creating a lovely ambience. All in all, we had an amazing evening.

Vey good steaks, the meet quality very high. I asked for medium steak but I got well cooked, other than that it was good. The pepper corn sauce was super sweet (I didn’t like it but my bf liked it).

Service was really good. Food was okay, drinks where okay too. I'm not sure if it was worth £92 for just 2 people.... This is my third time coming. First time was by far the best food wise. This time we ordered a platter for 2. But I was really disappointed with the steaks. They where extremely hard and thin. I asked for med well, but didn't get it.

I went with two children at about 7pm so it wasn't too busy we got our food pretty quick but they didn't really approach us for our order we had to ask, we asked for a high chair several times, out of frustration I had to go look for it myself as little one was getting fussy. Staff just sounded like men who didn't care until we didn't pay service charge they were suddenly very nice! Food was nice came pretty fast. Got two steaks mash and wings. They were cooked nicely. We weren't too fond of their signature sauce though. Generally a beautiful restaurant- just needs a bit more smiley and bubbly service especially with children.

The food was of a good standard and presented well but there were a number of items not available on the menu which we were not advised of before booking and paying a deposit to reserve a table. I think it’s a little overpriced for what it’s worth. The restaurant was nice and had a good atmosphere

Absolutely amazing experience. We visited here on the 02/04/24 as a family and were blown away by the whole experience. Hands down the best steaks we’ve ever had, superb staff catering to all our needs and fantastic atmosphere. We ordered a range of starters, mains and drinks and the service was super efficient and we had 0 complaints. A special thank you to the waiters, bar staff and kitchen staff for looking after us and for providing a little something complimentary on our way out. This is roughly 140 miles away from us yet we definitely will be back in the near future. Thank you

Overall Experience: Despite the promising menu, my visit to Boga Steak was disappointing due to the abysmal service. Service Quality: Regrettably, the service was subpar, with prolonged wait times and disorganized staff. Manager's Conduct: Manager Ohoor's lack of professionalism was concerning, as they failed to address complaints about the food adequately. Handling of Complaints: Complaints regarding the food were mishandled, leaving patrons dissatisfied and unheard. In essence, Boga Steak's potential is overshadowed by its poor service, especially with Manager Ohoor's inability to address customer concerns effectively.
