Exceptionally good food. Could not recommend this place enough, food is cooked to perfection and tastes unreal. The service is stellar. A must try place, the lamb bbq rib is other worldly, the tacos are amazing starters, and the steak is perfect. Will definitely be a regular date night location.

I was at the restaurant yesterday with my husband, it was the first time I tried steak and hubby had been craving it.. not his first time. Well we felt welcomed, good service from all staff. The steak was really nice than what I thought. Everything was excellent.. now when I hear of steak I can only think of Boga as it was my first time and it was delicious.. will definitely visit another time.

Quiet evening meal on business. Nice restaurant was fairly empty on a Tuesday night. Food excellent - loved the beef tacos and fillet (cooked perfectly) - particularly liked the Turkish vibe on seasoning.

We ordered shared plate with “lokum” and some kababs. I would expect some caramelisation with lokum. That was disappointing. i could have done better at home. Kabab mixed with lamb beef chicken and wings. I have had better kabab before.

Service and atmosphere were very good. The food, I was not happy. Lamb ribs were very hard to chew, maybe old sheep(not lamb at sll), and the chops were quite big so not very easy to grill them. Meet needs more attention. The rest was fine.

Going here i had good expectations of the steak which is really good, full of flavour and soft, however the experience of the service is terrible, me and my partner ordered food and drinks and the food arrived first with no drinks, we was wondering what happened to our mocktails and they forgot we ordered them, the woman who served us lied to us saying it is busy for the bar when it wasn’t, how does two steaks cook faster then two drinks being made? , the drinks eventually arrived after we reminded them, the second lie we received was that there was no fire show available, i wanted to happily pay for the fireshow option that was on the menu but could not due to “no availability”, 20min later a fireshow was happening for someone else who ordered it. The two stars is for the steak which is good. overall bad communication and customer service.

Awful customer service, took an hour for food to arrive. We asked for tap water 3 times and it still never arrived. And they have the audacity to charge 12.5% service charge. My partner and I visited on a Saturday night and there were zero vibes. Customers were literally walking out due to lack of service. On a positive note, the food was delicious but not enough to make us visit again.

Can’t customize the drinks like no raspberry, or egg white, asked for no gherkins still came with them and to fix my drink I got half way through my meal with no water given to my table!

The food was so beautiful. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection and the service here is impeccable. Zeynab (I hope I spelt it right) made our experience 100/10 and I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday and it is definitely not one to forget. I would highly recommend .

We have been here a couple of times before and have never been let down. Generous indoors seating area, well-maintained and elegant. The staff is polite and friendly. We have never made a booking but have never had problems to find a table. The orange fresh juice is delicious and you can tell that it is made of oranges (not artificial). The oysters that we had as a starter were large and tasty. The grilled seabass fillets with vegetable main course was generous and also delicious. The prices are average and the food portions are medium to large. I would recommend this place for either a casual meal or a party.

My advice, avoid, at booking I told the restaurant it was my sons 18th, from the minute we arrived the staff were cold, unfriendly, no atmosphere, the steak was the worst I have had, managed to spend £180 in less than an hour and had to eat somewhere else after, worst experience ever

come here at lunch time, order two sets for lunch, both of them taste very nice. one calamari, pop corn chicken one lamb and one beef kofta come with salad, fries and bread worth the money and wanna try something else next time

Food is nice, that's why we have been there a few times. Unfortunately the service is not, constantly forgot part of your order and the wait staff are not attentive, waiting for them to take your order or even pay the bill a real shame with the prices and the additional exorbitant service charge.

We had the 4 person platter which consisted of 4 small pieces of lokum steak, 6 chops, 6-8 small chicken wings, some chicken and lamb cubes , a small (1-2person) portion of chips, a small (1 person) portion of rice, some flat bread, hummus and Tzaki. The food was nice however overall very expensive (£120 coming to ~£140 with service charge) for what it was and definitely not 4peoples worth of food. In reality 2-3 at a stretch. Service was fine and the restaurant is decorated well.

Excellent service with friendly and attentive staff. Food was great and tasty. Went on a Friday evening, was pleasantly surprised with the entertainment- a belly dancer! Had a Dj come in while we were there who played nice music creating a lovely ambience. All in all, we had an amazing evening.

Vey good steaks, the meet quality very high. I asked for medium steak but I got well cooked, other than that it was good. The pepper corn sauce was super sweet (I didn’t like it but my bf liked it).

Service was really good. Food was okay, drinks where okay too. I'm not sure if it was worth £92 for just 2 people.... This is my third time coming. First time was by far the best food wise. This time we ordered a platter for 2. But I was really disappointed with the steaks. They where extremely hard and thin. I asked for med well, but didn't get it.

I went with two children at about 7pm so it wasn't too busy we got our food pretty quick but they didn't really approach us for our order we had to ask, we asked for a high chair several times, out of frustration I had to go look for it myself as little one was getting fussy. Staff just sounded like men who didn't care until we didn't pay service charge they were suddenly very nice! Food was nice came pretty fast. Got two steaks mash and wings. They were cooked nicely. We weren't too fond of their signature sauce though. Generally a beautiful restaurant- just needs a bit more smiley and bubbly service especially with children.

The food was of a good standard and presented well but there were a number of items not available on the menu which we were not advised of before booking and paying a deposit to reserve a table. I think it’s a little overpriced for what it’s worth. The restaurant was nice and had a good atmosphere

Absolutely amazing experience. We visited here on the 02/04/24 as a family and were blown away by the whole experience. Hands down the best steaks we’ve ever had, superb staff catering to all our needs and fantastic atmosphere. We ordered a range of starters, mains and drinks and the service was super efficient and we had 0 complaints. A special thank you to the waiters, bar staff and kitchen staff for looking after us and for providing a little something complimentary on our way out. This is roughly 140 miles away from us yet we definitely will be back in the near future. Thank you

Overall Experience: Despite the promising menu, my visit to Boga Steak was disappointing due to the abysmal service. Service Quality: Regrettably, the service was subpar, with prolonged wait times and disorganized staff. Manager's Conduct: Manager Ohoor's lack of professionalism was concerning, as they failed to address complaints about the food adequately. Handling of Complaints: Complaints regarding the food were mishandled, leaving patrons dissatisfied and unheard. In essence, Boga Steak's potential is overshadowed by its poor service, especially with Manager Ohoor's inability to address customer concerns effectively.

Our visit to Boga Steakhouse was truly outstanding. The value for money was impressive, especially given the exceptional quality of the food we enjoyed. The star of the show was undoubtedly the tomahawk steak that was cooked to well and packed with mouthwatering flavour. In addition to the good food, the service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyment of our meal. Overall, Boga Steakhouse exceeded our expectations.

Alex was our waiter for the night and he was really great, chopped up our baklava and put the ice cream in the middle, tasted so good that way. I had the lamb chops as a main too, great meal. Definitely coming back!

We had a table reservation for 7:30PM for dinner. Our starters took 1 hour to arrive and then our mains took another hour to arrive, by this stage it was nearly 10PM. The mains didn’t come with any sides. They brought out the wrong steak for my boyfriend & my Rack of Ribs tasted dreadful. I asked to speak to a manager 3 times to make a complaint, to which they never showed their face. Don’t even question the wait time for the bill. Never again will I step food in this place, worst service I’ve ever received from an establishment. Would rate 0 starts if I could.

The sea bass fish could of been cooked more longer when I taste it as in more hotter than Luke warm the liver was great to eat hot,same with the burger and chips also Lightie drink was just beautiful to drink and amazing the only thing that kinda did let it down a bit was how expensive everything was so that's why you only get 3 stars instead of five but the experience was nice for a first timer. 😊

Bad is an understatement not even worth one star. We waited 1 hour for a table after we booked it and 2 hours for starters and another 40 minutes for the mains! The staff was very on edge with no patience at all - I understand that it’s not the waiters fault but there’s no need to be rude or snappy to customers. Food was mediocre and not worth the wait. An easy solution was telling customers that there was delays, offer free drinks and STOP taking new customers when there was NO FOOD to serve! RIDICULOUS. A meal for two cost us £130 and they had the audacity to charge service table which we refused to pay Never ever going back and do NOT recommend it.

Hi We wasted our Valentine day. Reservation was for 8.00 pm. Waiting, asking, waiting, asking and waiting again and the only thing was sorry let us a few minutes. I think they have to learn the meaning of A FEW. We saw our drink about 8.30 and the starter about 9.45 and the main after 10.00pm without cutlery 😱😱😱. When we were paying, the douch manager guy charged us an extra 50 pounds and when ask why, only ooo only mistake. What do you think??!! Never come back

This establishment has a weird culture around skin color. Basically there is a direct correlation between your skin color and how they like to treat you.

We booked a table for two through OpenTable for Valentine's Day. However, the restaurant was overbooked so we walked out after waiting for food for one and a half hours. Many others around us did the same.

Looking at other reviews it seems like we visited on a bad day for this restaurant. Valentine's day. Very short staffed. Staff looked stressed, one staff member talking about inter staff difficulties within ear shot of our table. We were waiting 45min for our starter and another 35min after this for our mains. Starters were very average and served without a starter plate. All in, we were there for over 2 hours and gave up before desert. The only positive were decent steaks and very apologetic manager who offered a reasonable reduction in the bill as a "sorry".

Had an appointment and had to wait 2 hours and left with an empty stomach. while other tables that came in after us were served first

DONT COME TO THIS RESTAURANT!!! Worst restaurant I ever went to. We booked a table for 2 people at 7:15 and until 8:30 we didnt even got our drinks. We have been noticing people leaving as well. At 8:40 we asked how long it will take for the STARTERS to come - 1h30 min we didnt even got the starters. The waiter said she didnt heard nothing from the kitchen. We asked for the bill for the drinks to leave as we would not wait another 1h30 for the starters and mains. It passed 10 min nobody came so we went directly to the bar to pay. At this time was already 9pm. I am glad we havent waisted any money on the food and paid just the drinks which werent even cold. We would never come here or give it another try, if you want to eat here come 5 hours in advance and you get the food.

Valentine's day with a bad experience at Boga steakhouse watford. We booked for 7:30 pm, we went in and were immediately seated at a table, after 20 minutes a member of staff came to take our order, after about 10 minutes they came with the drinks, and there we were waiting for the starters we had ordered together. with the order, we watched several couples leave the place after waiting for a long time, after 2 hours, I asked the member of staff who had taken the order from us if it was taking too long, he just repeatedly said I know I know I know, and with his back facing me. We immediately got up from the table and I kindly went to the counter and told them to cancel our order, and we left. A place like this, especially these days, should have the doors locked, and also choose friendly and not rude employees.

Exceptional experience and gorgeous food. Its definitely a splurge (expect to spend upto £100pp for a 3 course meal) but it's great for a special occasion. Lovely halal food, beautiful decor, amazing staff.

10/10 really nothing to complain I think I can eat two steaks. Probably is better offer biggest pices of meat than gold staff but everyday pleate was amaizing probably for the price they can put a bit more bread Two. 100% recomendable if you are on the área!

Came on a Friday night and the service was great, definitely some of the best I've seen in Watford. I got the filet mignon and it was lovely, I recommend getting an extra sauce. Crème brûlée was also tasty. Overall had a great time.

Went on a Friday night and it was surprisingly quiet. But the service levels are abysmal at best, probably explains why the locals don’t go. They forgot to bring one dish. When asked where it was. They said they forgot. But the waiter who took the order came over and aggressively told us. You didn’t order it! Confusing and clueless service. There was more staff vs customers and when trying to get their attention I was waving my arms for a full 5 mins. Food was ok, overcooked but ok.

Far more than a stakehouse, there excellent value lunch menus was beyond expectations. The lamb kabab was exceptional, the Chicken thighs god but not exceptional. More comfortable seats than most restaurants. Cooking is all visible, but seperate from the binding aria.

I have been going to this place for a long time I always order the mix plater for 2 it was delicious , with variety of meat and 2 or 3 sides with it , on my last vist the lamb was fatty chewi, it was a mess of meat the portion was much more organised it was disappointing.
