What do you think. Imagine receiving food like this? This isn't the drivers fault....you can tell by the way it has been given. I asked someone to refund that part of my order. Then the manager Sohail explain that they can't and that they'll give me an extra side next time. But right now there is no driver....totally unfair. Never order from Watford branch again

Pizza was bland, cold and label was not sealed on the box on arrival. Watford branch always slacking. Had a pizza from here before and it was covered in salt. Stick to Rickmansworth you won’t get tasteless pizzas.

Yesterday ordered large pizza and they didn’t have large dough for that. So they made all pizza in medium dough and not even changing in the delivery app. £2.99 you pay extra to get medium. Great!! Staff needs to be trained more on customer service rather then arguing and saving stock

I just order a garlic bread with garlic sauce and i get a garlic bread with no cheese and a withe herbal garlic sauce instead of the clasic sauce ,they say nothing about that .i just feel scamed...

On the night of August 15, we purchased two pizzas, and both were extremely disappointing. When we opened the boxes, we were shocked to find that there were hardly any toppings, and the taste was terrible. We were a group of people, and notably, not a single one of us enjoyed the pizzas. One of the pizzas was supposed to be a barbecue chicken pizza, but we discovered bacon in it. I am severely allergic to bacon, so how can people trust them.👎👎👎👎👎👎Worst pizza shop in watford.

On Thursday the 15th, we ordered two pizzas after 11:30 PM, and it turned out to be the worst pizza experience we've ever had. The toppings were incredibly sparse, making the pizza bland and unappetizing. We specifically ordered a barbecue chicken pizza, expecting it to contain only chicken, but when we got home and opened the box, we were shocked to find pork instead. One of us has a severe allergy to pork and beef, and this mistake could have had serious consequences if we hadn’t caught it in time.

The potato that is advertised with cheese and bacon came with a couple of bits or bacon and literally no cheese, this is not what’s advertised. I was missing the garlic butter too please see pictures attached? I tried to get through to your team in the phone but struggled and no email address to contact so I have had to write this review for others to be aware.

Ordered one large all meat pizza and spicy wings. The pizza was as hard as a rock and the wings was rotten and smelling. Called them and he told me I should call customer service . Am highly disappointed in papa John's watford market high street branch

Used to be good, but now when I order it’s like biting into a chunk of cardboard, will definitely be switching to Domino’s from now on Even last week I had to go collect my delivery order as no drivers were available, should just disable delivery choice during this time if that is the case

I had a terrible experience with Papa John's. I called to order 18 pizzas for a party of 25 people, but the staff refused to take my order, despite my requests. It was very embarrassing. Thankfully, Domino's happily took my order and delivered in 30 minutes. I'll never order from Papa John's again.

Very disappointed from papa johns today I was call about 10:30 morning and place 15 pizza order first the staff hang up call and after I try again and guy speak with tired and rude after placing order he call me around 11 o’clock and say I can’t make your order cause I’m alone at shop my question is if you can’t make order why you open shop I ordered every week from there even last week I ordered but this time very horrible experience I’m not going back in this company they need to change staff they don’t understand English shame on you papa johns

Terrible customer service from the Watford store. We ordered the vegan chicken “sf bites” and potato’s tots combo as one of our sides and it was delivered with actual chicken instead of the vegan one. Phoned up thinking no problem they’ll swap it out only for the so called manager to tell us that actually what we ordered doesn’t exist (despite the label on the box saying vegan chicken and potato tots, and then somehow managing to get the other vegan chicken we had on the order correct). My girlfriend literally had to beg on the phone for him to understand that he’d sent the wrong item after which point I took over and had a few choice words with the “manager” (manager in the loosest terms) about how rude he was to my girlfriend to which he then all of a sudden agreed to send out the correct item. It’s a shame as normally the store send everything correct however, this experience has made myself and my girlfriend really reconsider ordering from them again. Poor. Poor. Poor.

This restaurant has the worst customer service you can imagine. Equally, Uber Eats failed in issuing any for of refund. I was missing a side dish and contacted Uber Eats, who failed to help. I called the restaurant, who immediately said that they had sent all items but yet could not guarantee that they had done this. I contacted the delivery deiver who failed to respond. When I chased this, they lied and made no apology or means of rectification. To add insult to injury, the pizza had barely any toppings. It was just a piece of bread with some cheese and about 5 pieces of meat. I will be taking my business elsewhere where I am not robbed of the order. Looking back at the reviews, this isn't the first time this has happened. TLTR - Don't order here unless you want to get robbed and have cheese on toast.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Can't even get an order correct, when called, they claim everything was sent when it wasn't! Started blaming the delivery driver! 0 idea of customer service and extremely rude staff who clearly don't know the meaning of good customer service! On top of that, they've put the bare minimum toppings on the pizzas. The only good thing were the dips! Don't bother wasting your money on this place unless you want to pay full price for half your order.

Courier was amazing!! I placed the order on our old address - completely my fault. Called the restaurant within 30 seconds to change address. Hung up on three times!! Asked to leave new address but not interested. Asked to leave my number for driver - said they would. They didn’t. Driver was fantastic and called at old address and re-delivered to new addreHe didn’t have to but did so was tipped kindly. 5 stars to driver. Zero to restaurant - so rude!! Will use Jyst Eat again, but not restaurant.

On the door Food Hygiene Rating shows 5 but the chef in the kitchen forgets simple kitchen hygiene of not wearing gloves while making Pizza.

That is twice l have ordered two same size pizzas under the 241 Tuesday deal and it's cost me more because both pizzas are different sizes - terrible website as it changes the selections without you knowing until they are delivered.

Having ordered pizza from here 25+ times in the past 3 years, I feel like I'm in a pretty good place to review this place. They rarely get an order correct, or deliver it on time. More often than not, they accidentally (though I suspect on purpose to make more money) forget to add the extra sauces ordered. They know that most people, myself included, will not phone them about this or request a refund. On the two most recent occasions that I ordered from them, they arrived over 90mins later - despite phoning them both times to chase. The orders were placed mid-week, not even during busy times! The app said it was delivered way before it actually had been and by the time it got to me, the pizzas were lukewarm at best... Sauces missing too of course. The pizzas themselves are the best out there (when done right), which kept me coming back for so long. But the service is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I have taken my business to Domino's instead who deliver hot pizza, on time and with everything I order... What a delight!

Food never arrived. The manager Virek took my money lied again and again that the order was on the way and after hours waiting he made up one lie after another about drivers, blah blah. In the end I had to fight to get my money back. Total con and a lying, deceitful Virek running this joint.

Ordered a vegan pizza - sent pizza with normal cheese. In 2023 how can you not make a pizza right? Called store, no apology. Offered to resend our order. Order comes outside of delivery time promised, with an item missing!!! What a joke. Will be ordering from another location next time.

Waited an hour just for them to tell us they weren’t going to deliver, after we called them too as they were ‘checking and slicing’ for about 30 mins. The fact they didn’t even call us to say the order was cancelled after waiting so long is not good.

The food was cold and we had to warm it up when we warmed it up it just tasted horrible and i would like a refund the only thing we enjoyed was the drinks and its the fact it was so bad we had to order food using a different app

Great customer service, very friendly staff who where helpful in finding our order which was lost in the system and managed to make the adjustment we needed due to dietary requirements. Once the order was sorted we received fast delivery.

Absolutely amazing customer service! Ordered pizza last night which came super fast by the way. Definite bonus points for that, but I unfortunately received the wrong order. Only 1/6 items I ordered were correct. I gave them a quick ring who were absolutely lovely. Manager couldn’t stop apologizing and you could tell it wasn’t him giving you those standard 'Sorry for the inconvenience’ responses. He instantly got a new order sent out to me which arrived 10 minutes after the phone call. Even let me know that it was sent out and on the way once again continuously apologizing for the incident. Furthermore, the driver made sure I checked that the name on the pizza boxes were correct. Word class customer service!!! Fabulous pizza, really fresh and taste so well. Happy to order from you again. I have autism and interacting with others is always a struggle. You made this so pleasant and easy for me.

Terrible service, cold pizza avoid!

Arrived at 23:50 to collect an order placed 15 mins earlier (they close at midnight) Was told that "the system" had cancelled my order and that I couldn't have it, but it was blatently obviously that they'd shut everything down so they could go home early. When I took out my phone to record what I was being told, the guy hid his face, rushed to the back of the shop and only came back with a motorcycle helmet on! Absolutely incredible...

Don’t bother ordering from here. Food is cold and dry. The pizza wasn’t cut and the sides were burnt. Absolute waste of 30 quid. Should have stuck with Pizza Hut.

What a rude man on the phone who takes orders.we have papa Jones delivery often enough but never experienced such unpleasant and unprofessional service.The Pizza we got was cold and I called in after couple of hours to give feedback as they can improvise on service for future delivery as we got busy with family commitments. The same man didn't listen and told me off to call so late😳.I have never ever experienced such poor and rude service hence hence one star which for me is zero star.

I ordered a gluten free butternut pizza when it arrived it was not a gluten free pizza I phoned and spoke to an extremely rude person called Eagle in the Watford branch that told me I must have made a mistake and I would need to pay £16 again if I wanted another pizza as it’s not his problem! I then said I would walk the incorrect order back as I am allergic to it. He then told me he could only deliver a new pizza in 2 hours! I have never ever waited that long for a pizza so feel this is a complete lie!! We used to order pizza from them all the time but would never order again. The side potato tots arrived stone cold very unacceptable!

Order arrived missing an item. They said they would send it in 40 minutes. After an hour, I called up and was told that they had forgotten about it. I asked for a refund and was told it would be processed but never received it.

Every order we have made in 2021 has arrived cold and ridiculously late (even on an ordinary Monday night). According to the tracker it has always been reported as arriving before we receive it, most recently 40 minutes. They don’t have enough drivers to deliver pizzas within a sensible time but can dispatch a driver quickly to collect the pizza that arrived cold. They quibble about providing compensation for orders arriving cold and after enormous delays, but it happens too often for the excuses they give to hold up. Don’t use them!

So we orded pizza and they took payment Over the phone. Within 2 mins I said it was the wrong store and I couldn't pick up, to which they said I have simply lost the order and they could do nothing about it untill I picked it up. After about 10 mins, they finally said they would deliver for an extra £5, cash on delivery which I think is ridiculous.... Fair to say after this £45 bill plus £5, delivery i would never return to pappa johns. To add to the review, they delivered the chicken 35, mins after the rest of the food!!!! Nightmare

The pizza was great and the guy that took my order was very helpful and polite.

Had issues with the site as it had asked me to collect rather than deliver. Called them up and although they could not change the order information, the gentleman personally came to deliver it. They kept me informed and told me as soon as they were here. Good deal and lovely people!

I had the unpleasant experience of speaking to Mr Valmiki upabuyay after calling papa jones with a complaint. We ordered a large pizza put ended up with a cold and horrid medium sized pizza. Also very conveniently none of their offers were mentioned on the delivery service they work with. To which this gentleman said the flyer was ‘new’and All this wasn’t their problem and they get many complaints and have told the delivery company many times and can’t do anything about it . Papa jones needs to take their product and who delivers there service more seriously, take responsibility for dissatisfied customers and have better informed people dealing with their complaints instead of running them round in circles.

Placed another order for collection after the St Albans branch didn’t even turn up! We place the order at 7pm and the message said it would be ready to pick up in 15 minutes. Get to the branch and they say it’s another 15 minutes, no apology or explanation nothing. After the overall experience we’ve had this evening with the incompetence of this place it’s safe to say we will never be ordering pizza from here again!

Friendly staff, small with little seating but close to an off licence if you want to pick up drinks too. On street parking is avaliable right outside, as long as it's out of loading hours.

Without notifying me, they charged me for a random substitution of the same value in place of my side order that they obviously didn't have available.

Firstly, AVOID AVOID AVOID. So, the first time I ordered I had to wait 2 hours for my order to show up. Not good, especially in a Friday night with 6 friends impatiently waiting for you at the pub. After speaking to the manager without an apology (only excuses that the system was down, not his fault) eventually offered me a free pizza for our next delivery. We were silly enough to take him up on his offer this evening. Surprise surprise, no record of a free pizza. After a debate the offer was upheld, with a catch. If we wanted 2 extra garlic dips - because there's never enough. We would have to place an order of an additional £12.65? I thought it was supposed to be free... Apparently not. The manager 'Ali Raha' refused to clarify why this was the case and essentially hung up because he was too busy to deal with our argument. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Ordered at 4:30pm for 8pm delivery. 8:10 ... called and was told driver was almost here, about a minute. 8:20 ... called again, was told again ... one minute Food arrived at 8:28 .. 3.5 hours notice and still half hour late. And of course, food was like warm ! Next time I think I will stick to established brand. If Papa John’s want to break the big two monopoly, they seriously need to up their game.

WASTE OF TIME. Get menu put through my letter box today saying "closer than you think" listing two restaurants that apparently deliver to me. Try to order online to be told I'm outside of delivery area so try phoning restaurant but despite being well within the opening hours printed on the menu now closed as spent so long trying trying to order online. Can't understand why them are menu dropping if they can't even be bothered to do what they advertise!

Called to order a pizza, the person on the phone did not understand or could not speak English, trying to place and order and give directions for delivery was like pulling teeth, so ordered from the hotel instead
